Sorry I can’t be there, so I donated! Wish the donation took PayPal! Love that you picked a senior rescue!!
I love in the UK so I donated via the tag. GOOD LUCK to the $20k🎉🐾🐾🎉
I'm sorry but I forgot when Mayonnaise was coming in again to get groomed. Can you please remind me?
Snuggle-groom-snuggle-groom and snuggle some more.
I donated because I'm sure I'll forget to do so otherwise. These dogs are amazing.
I know that big breeds have massive paws as puppies, but I still get shocked by just how big they really are!
tbh, they don‘t get any smaller 😂 my bernese is 2yo now and I‘m still amazed by the size of her paws 😂 but in that puppy stage it‘s just so damn cute how there‘s no definition to their legs and paws, they are just like tree stumps ❤
@@simoneholenstein6977and watching them through the whole "back end taller, then front grows then I get longer" is amazing. But I think Berner puppy phase ends at about 5 yrs.
We have an Anatolian Shepard. He’s 70lbs at 6 months old with huge paws.
And how adorable those giant paws are.❤❤❤
It reminds me of what my Mom told me about when she took me to the doctor for my one-year check-up. He lifted my foot up & said, "Mother, are you ready for a 6-footer?" He was off by 1/2". My final height was 5'11-1/2" tall.
We had a Bernese/St Bernard mix growing up. He was asthmatic, the vet told us he wouldn’t live past his second birthday.
The vet was wrong, he lived for seventeen years. These gals brought back happy childhood memories…
Wow, talks about exceeding expectations.
Seventeen YEARS??? For a dog that size even without any health issues that's incredible. How lucky you were!
Seventeen is INCREDIBLE for a dog that large❤
17 YEARS??? Saints live to 13 and Berners to 12, tops.
As mentioned by others, big dogs typically don't live as long as smaller dogs, but St Bernards and Berners both typically have short lives even in comparison to other large breed dogs. The fact that you had a St Bernard/Berner mix that lived that long is absolutely amazing.
It's funny how every now and then the predictions of vets can be incredibly off when it comes to puppies. It seems that when they're wrong often times they're wrong in a big way. My family had an Alaskan Malamute and the vet said he must have been the runt of the litter and would most likely end up pretty small for a Malamute. He ended up being a lean, muscular 150 pounds.
If I got woken up from a nap and sprayed in the face with water, I’d be a lot less chill than these puppies 😂
Agreed, they're so calm and well behaved.
I would go into creative mode.
I did that many years ago with my girlfriend. She was not appreciative.
@@yottaforce well, she didn't leave you for it, did she?
@@mnd7381 Nope. It's part of the story she told me to absolutely get her up at a certain time by any mean. I had already woken her multiple times. She did forgive me, but boy she was pissed!
the hug light pink gave you during her blow drying... precious little baby
was it when she was trying to jump off the table? 😂

My Bernese is turning 13 this year. I’m not sure he’ll get much older as he’s been starting to decline this year… Seeing these pups reminds me of the day I got him back when I was only 12 years old. I always thought big dogs wouldn’t make it far past 8. I can’t believe he’s the same age as I was when I got him!
My Bernese was top student in puppy class! Super friendly, loving and has been my best friend all throughout the last 13 years.
These dogs will forever be my favorite breed. ❤️
Don’t give up on it!! We had one lived to 18 and honestly thought every year after 13 was his last year. He was in rough shape for 5-6 years but lived all the way to 17-18ish. They can live very long if you love them enough.
@@ryand4533 wow, 18! really hope mine will stick around for that long 😌
@@ryand4533Holy crap, 18 years....... kudos for the absolute love and care for that doggo!
@@applesienIt is definitely possible and before I wouldn’t have believed it. I’ve had multiple dogs at a time for almost 40 years. Never had one live longer than 12 years.
@@GracemarieJohnson2763He was an amazing dog. Very loving and loyal.
When a puppy leans its chin on a human for comfort my heart just melts, and Bernese puppies are unfairly adorable while doing it. I just don't think I could bear to have a dog with such a short lifespan, I could not go through that so often.
How long do they live on average?
@@maganatalia8432Google says 8-9 years
@@maganatalia8432 6-8 years.
@@maganatalia8432big dogs in general do not live as long as smaller dogs. These dogs 6-8 years.
It's sad - but worse for the people who have pet rats who only live a couple of years.
I was hiking with a group of friends years ago in the mountains and there were several pickup truck sized patches of snow left on the ground.
A lady showed up with the most adorable puppy I had ever seen who proceeded to run from snow patch to snow patch rolling in each one and then running happily to the next one.
I said what breed of dog is that I've never seen one before. she introduced me to the Bernese Mountain Dog breed.
I immediately said well that explains why she's so happy she's in the mountains.
When she walked past I reached out and gave her a little scratch which caused her to stop, my friend said lean down next to her and I'll take a picture.
I leaned my face down next to the puppy and she kissed me on the cheek right when he took the picture.
what a gorgeous memory, thanks for sharing
This breed absolutely loves humans and getting fussed over by humans.
this is so wholesome 😭😭
Beautiful story ❤
Thank you!
I’ve never seen one, I think they are made for mountains and cold places. We have mostly less furry dogs.
I will never understand how Vanessa's hands actually look like hands and not dried-out yogurt, and how her manicures are always perfect. What amazing alchemy do we have here?
My partner is a dog groomer. He has lotion he uses every day, and that keeps his hands pretty soft.
I’d like to know about the alchemy. 🤨
No alchemy, the dog shampoos and conditioners are full of skin (and fur) nourishing ingredients (plant-based oils, vitamins etc). Regular soap dries skin out, though.
Gel polish and lotion
It helps to have lotion on hand.
I've noticed that floppy-eared dogs love it when you rub their ears. If you get in deep enough, they'll lean into your hand.
As a hound owner, I can attest to this.
We have a dog (Tibetan Mastiff, Golden R., Australian Shepherd mix) that has floppy ears and it's so adorable when I rub his cheek and he moves his head forward to tell me to rub his ears and when I do it, he grumbles in sheer bliss and leans his head into my hand so hard that I can't even rub his ear anymore because I can't move my hand lol
(He's also pinned my hand to the floor and against the couch/other furniture when he does it lol)
He also gives the most content of sighs you can imagine.
He doesn't have any ear issues/infections, I think it's more just his outer ear fluff tickling him.
The ears are the part of the dog that move the most. 😊Rubbing the soft pilla (pinna?) always makes them snooze.
@@sudenkieppi that's a hell of ear
Blue heelers have great drive...throw a 3" rock in and they'll come out w/ a ten pound rock...yes....rear legs off the ground 😂
@@sudenkieppi friend has Tibetan Mastiffs
She stood between the owner and me and was aloof.
You can tell this is a good breeder that spends a lot of time socializing and handling her puppies. They have amazing temperaments already and are going to make wonderful family members for some lucky owners one day.
My guess is they are breed for farmers or harsh temperatures, not for aesthetics/money, you can already see they have a wonderful fur (which tends to be a lot worse when its a harmful breeder)
You need to start with an "Unbearable Cuteness" disclaimer😍🤩🥰😍
Agreed... Definitely NSFW
I have a black tri Australian Shepherd and he is not much bigger than they are lol!
I used to do a weekend market and one of the best parts of it was watching all the different dogs go by. There were several ladies that had four or five Bernese various ages and I would always run out to visit with them. Had a friend a few booths down who would bring her dog to the market with her. The dog was hilariously terrified of chemtrails! No good reason. Just under the table in a flash. It was a mutt I think pointer/husky mix like one of mine. You get a lot of that in Alaska especially when you adopt
Susceptible to heart attacks of love ❤😂❤
Yes! It is too much!
Cuteness trigger warning!
they are just balls of fluff 😭 i need a million of these
…and then they grow up and you have nowhere to live.
@@terry7907Having 2 at the moment: I confirm this to be true.
This is how you end up like that lady in the news that got arrested with dozens of dogs and cats, in a filthy house that probably has to be condemned.
@@danielduncan6806 lol ok but im joking tho
That's a lot of poop and pee to clean up.
Vanessa: who's going in the bath first?
Two pups: Not it! Not it!
Corner pup: huh?
😂🤣
😂,
THAT’S WHAT I WAS THINKING!
Haha
He is like dang it
The fur pattern on their paws look like leg warmers, it's so cuuute
My childhood best friend got a Bernie when we were young teens, there are pictures of me holding baby Remi and looking absolutely overcome with delight and even close to tears at how beautiful and adorable he was. Remi was a massive sweetheart and he was convinced he was a smaller dog. He would lay his massive boulder head on your lap and get his fur all over you and just loved cuddles and sitting at your feet, wherever you went in the house he followed. Remi passed away summer of last year from cancer at the age of 8 and even though he wasn’t my dog I still miss him so very much, they really are the best dogs and I would love to have one in my life again someday.
I love the way Vanessa just turns into mush when she's grooming puppies... and then I turn into mush too when they lay their chins on her shoulder or lie down in her lap.
Years ago I took my little Border Collie pup to a puppy obedience class. Six weeks long class. One of the pups in the class was a Bernese Mt. dog. Every week I swear he almost doubled in size! But what a wonderful, goofy, human loving dog he was. These pups are a joy.
We ended up keeping blue collar. We named her blue!
Bluey!
Wait, what?! Really?? Such a sweet puppy!! 💖💖
@@jeno264 thank you!! 😊
@@SennenhundacresYou’re so blessed to have such a gorgeous animal in your life. Please treat her with the utmost kindness and tenderness for as long as she lives 😊.
Wow congrats. Gorgeous dog.
I was lucky enough to have been the owner of the best Bernese Mountain Dog to ever live on this planet. His name was Bobby, and ever since my family got him for us, he has become my best friend in the matter of a few months. It's intriguing to say the least to see a human and animal connect to a degree where both don't speak the same language, yet they understand each other, and the same principle applied to me and my dog.
After 8 years of having him as our loyal family member, we sadly had to take him to the doc because of a very serious infect that caused a tumor around his lungs.
I will never forget the service and the countless hours this dog helped me get through tough times. I love you Bobby, and I miss you dearly.❤
Adopted an 8 week old girl Berner a week ago. we are IN LOVE with her! the whole family is obsessed. they are so soft, calm, cuddle monsters! i highly recommend the breed for families.
Well socialized, well trained and well behaved. That's a REALLY good breeder.

The blue one is the reason they came to see you!😊
Pet grooming is one of the few places 'i don't want to scare the poop out of them' is incredibly literal. You did such a great job on these adorable boulders!
😅 my dog literally poops herself everytime her nails are trimmed and that’s exactly what I thought of when she said that!
Yep. That and working with toddlers.
The smushed puppy face in the happy hoodie was the cutest thing EVER! You cannot see that and not feel better about your day lol 3:40 These munchkins are so well behaved
The puppy hugs when you did the blow drying will always melt me 😭 even knowing u so little they felt safe close to you.
Vanessa, I have never owned a dog in my life, but I can’t tell you how much watching your videos helps my anxiety. I’m starting to think it’s less about the dogs and more about you and your beautiful personality and temperament. I don’t think you realise how soothing your voice is!
I was the same way. A few years ago I started watching these videos for some reason. I felt like I needed to learn about dogs more since I never had one and never wanted one. After a few months, I was watching and reading all about every kind of dog. About a year later, my daughter broke off a long-time relationship and was just a shattered little shell of what she used to be. She had a dog the other person kept and that also crushed her. The thing that really convinced her to move back home and recover was the promise of getting another dog for her. One week later we went home with a darling Australian Shepherd puppy that we all got to love and train. A few months ago I went home with another Aussie puppy so now I have two dogs. Vanessa is what started it all for me. I used to be scared of dogs and didn't know how to act or what to do with them but Vanessa really taught me a lot about their behavior. Because of her, I have two happy, clean, sweet, and energetic dogs we all love.
Now you know what type of people you need to associate with in your life - and be determined 🥰
@@paulalarsen7697 you are a good parent, sincerely
@@COBRA-PUNK thank you! I don't feel it most days but I appreciate it.
In my lifetime I have owned 4 dogs and innumerable cats, plus a rabbit, many fish, and 4 lizards. I currently own 2cats who are 11 years old and one who the vet said was “ageless “ when we rescued her from the street. We think she is about the same age as her 11 year old brother.
I once met a 5/6mth old Bernese Mountain puppy who was already over 30kgs, and this huge, adorable puppy's name was Bubbles. BUBBLES! Can you imagine it? Calling your dog in from outside, or the dog park, with the spectators expecting a small dog, but instead, they see a massive 70kg Bernese Mountain dog running towards their owner. Years later, I'm still laughing over the owner's name choice… GOLD! Bubbles, I hope you are having a wonderful life wherever you are 💖💖💖
That is the most amazing name for a giant dog ever. Thank you for sharing
I always promise myself if I ever get a huge dog I’ll name it “tiny”.
Normally, pedigree dog breeders name the dog. My weimaraner is kezsduo time go's by known as FLASH..my first weimaraner was kitsofemountblonc known as monty..
OMG Bubbles? I LOVE it!
That makes me think of three codenames for these three little angels; Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, AKA the PowerPup Girls, haha!
I know not all breeders give temp names to puppies, but that's just too cute to think about!
Whenever I happen across this video of the three puppies with the big, sweet eyes I will forever remember them as the PowerPup Girls 😀
@@tracypolselli1464LOL, a living contradiction. Well, I have a 70 pound poodle which, while not nearly as big as some dogs is big for a poodle. His name is Zeus. Big, tough name, right? NOPE! He's like THE biggest baby! His mom and sister boss him around, and he literally peed himself when his dad got all snarly with him. To give context, he's still a puppy at not quite 18 months, but OMG! He's just so hilariously a big cuddle baby! He'll crawl in your lap, lie down under a table at your feet. I call him a "foodle" because he's obsessed with people food, and has gotten butter off the counter several times; you'd think we'd learn our lesson... Once, he even took cooked eggs out of a paper bowl without a single trace he'd done it. Anyway, just love him!
I digress. It's almost funnier to have a big, or big for breed/mix, dog with a big name but who's a total mushball. 😀
These fluffies were just what the doctor ordered. I'm sooo chill and happy, now
I'm depressed but this has cheered me up 🥰🥰

To everyone who adores dogs: Your compassion and love make the world a better place. My dog and I are sending you all our love 🐾💖✨
Met my first Bernese in real life yesterday. THEYRE HUGE!
They are. But fantastic
My sister always say that they're big so they can store more love you give them 😂
Many years ago I lived next to a pair of these, every time it would snow they would sit out in the road until they had multiple inches stacked up on them, then these snowdrifts would begrudgingly get up when cars would drive through.
their breeder did an amazing job preparing these puppies for loud noises and unknown situations, well done! and thank you so much for your passionate support of happy's place, that's truly commendable and wonderful of you!
👏👏👏 To this breeder for caring enough about their puppies to desensitize them to the noises of grooming. They really care about the puppies and want them to live good lives, even though they will probably never see the puppies again after they go to their new families. We all should get our dogs only as rescues or from breeders like this one. No backyard breeders!
Apparently Puppy 3 never left the breeder
40,000/20,000 Goal met, you are an inspiration! I want to cry thinking about all those furry seniors getting all the love and care they need :')
I adopted a senior dog and he ended up with Cushings and had periodontal disease as well as upper respiratory issues. Not to mention the dumb dumb knocked over a table that had some chocolate on it so that was an emergency vet visit. Needless to say, he's expensive, but so worth it. We do have to wait on the dental issues just due to the cost of everything else. So I'm a big advocate of any rescue taking on senior dogs. I hope you're able to raise enough money to help them.
My little guy is 18 but because of his breeds (chihuahua, doxie, poodle, Pom), people think he’s still a puppy. Had a guy ask me how much for him a year or so ago and I explained that I’d had him over a decade, and with all the costs, he would be out of his price range😂, that and he is priceless.
I’ve had 2 Cushing’s dogs (litter mates) One also developed diabetes. The Cushing’s was epically more expensive to manage.
We adopted an 8 y/o golden retriever, and we were told to prepare ourselves for not having him very long because of his age. Thankfully, they forgot to tell him that, so we got 6 wonderful years of the dumbest and sweetest goofball on Earth. Senior dogs are worth it all.
@MagnusMoerkoereJohannesen that is put goal! We want to keep him happy and healthy for as long as his body will allow. He has a very playful personality and when we get him in a space where he can roam he is just ecstatic.
The hug from #1, the grunts from #2, the haughty expression from #3 when informed she was covered in poop, the addition of play time, just perfect. Thank you so much! ❤❤❤ Beautiful babies, excellent breeder!
Big paws is a bit of an understatement, just imagine when they are fully grown! The fluff!
Bear cubs. That's what Berners look like, grow into.
I love how the drying just floofs them up, playful little (but BIG) puffballs!
Their paws alone are irresistible!!! One of the sweetest thing about puppies is how short their snouts are. Still, they're boop-worthy!! 🥰🥰🥰
Good lord. This is one of those grooms you could auction off, and people would actually pay you for the privilege of spending time with them
I would love to be there & help keep an eye on these poofies!😊
That’s an inventive and great idea! I wonder if she could get that idea to work?!
So cute. Absolutely shattered their lifespan is so short though :(. But atleast they are getting tons of love for all that time.
So cute. This breed is my favorite❤❤❤
Thats exactly why i exclusively go for smaller breeds now. The end of life care is much easier too, since these dogs are going to be the size of full size humans and carrying them will be so difficult
From what Ive heard, berner senner mixed with poodle, gives them more than 10 years.
@@rthj6446But they are not Berners then.
The lifespan comment was a Berner specific thing - statistically their life span is even shorter than most other big breeds, because the breed is prone to get cancer early and viciously.
I love the way puppies need to cuddle with you why they get blow dried. It's so adorable!!
TMI, but: I'm on my period rn and my current hormones literally CAN'T. HANDLE. THIS. I gotta come back another time bc omg I'm literally freaking out over how cute they areeee

THEY ARE JUST SOOOO DARLING!!!!!
@@arislocote it is genuinely 2:05am where I am haha
The way the first puppy snuggled up to you when you were drying her. So adorable ❤️🐶😘
I used to breed and show Bernese. In my opinion, there is no better family dog! They would help me babysit the kids, they helped my daughter in training how to show, they were "reasonable" watch dogs, and most of all, they were loving. Their beauty is striking and we never went anywhere without people stopping to stare. And this was some 40 years ago when they were quite a rare breed.
The negative about this breed is their short lifespan. They have been called the "heartbreak breed" for a reason. Since I now live in a desert climate, I don't have one, but should I move, I would get another one, heartbreak be damned. They are wonderful . The best dogs ever, in my opinion.
A friend of mine trained one of hers for Schutzhund, which is K9 training. And he was quite good at it until he wanted to take a nap. 😊😅
Oh heavens, one of the best grooms ever. Cuteness heaven that I’m aching to have a puppy. I’m crying how cute they are and make me feel. 😊
I always get my dogs from the pound. I got a lab mixing October weighing 60 pounds. It is now September and he now weighs 110 pounds and he's not two years old. The vet thinks he is Rottweiler and Labrador. And he is not finished growing. He is lovely.
Blown away by the size of those paws. I know big breeds have big feet but even so. These kids are going to be amazing when they grow up.
One of the most laidback, sweetest breeds in existence. I worked for an animal shelter once and took a litter of half Bernie’s to Petsmart for an adoption event. I had taken a prior litter of somethings a couple of weeks before and had to wind up giving them all an emergency bath in the Petsmart bathroom! The Bernie’s, slept the 40 miles there, slept while at Petsmart and what weren’t adopted slept all the way back.😁
As someone with a 15 week old Berner, those paws very quickly turn into weapons 😅
They stay weapons. "I'm just saying Hi" as they give you a black eye. But then they snuggle and fall asleep on you and all forgiven. Mostly because it's hard to move when a 115lb dog is dead asleep on you
I had a Bernese years ago and when he was around 12 weeks, he got in a swatting fight with a stray tomcat and did not lose. He thought it was a great game. With his heavy coat, the cat's claws could barely touch his skin.
I have a Great Pyrenees, her paws are weapons for sure.
I heard a dog trainer on TH-cam say he would never teach big dogs the shake paw command. I remembered my glasses flying through the room a few days before that and agreed. Sigh. Next time...
When I had a puppy and took her to puppy play dates at the pet store there was a Bernese Mountain Dog. Poor thing was so big by week 10 he had to be put in his own pen and play just with the older puppies because even my 14 week old whippet mix puppy (adult size 45lbs) was getting bowled over by those massive paws haha
0:25 "alright, who's going for a bath first?" "ME! ME! NO, ME!"
Wow, the bond between you and your dog is incredible. Truly inspiring❤❤❤❤
I just made such a high pitched squeal noise when I saw the thumbnail that my husband thought one of our cats was mad at something. They’re so adorable and my heart is melting 😭💜
Haha sometimes when I squeal my husband thinks the dog hurt itself and yelped. He gets a bit testy at me over it :P
Those are three of the mellowest, sweetest-tempered puppies I have seen in a long time. Now I want a Bernese Mountain Dog! Adorable overload!! Thank you for the smiles!
They are absolutely wonderful dogs, just go to a breeder who does OFA testing and breeds for longevity. Unfortunately bad breeding means they have a short average lifespan, but good breeders who have long lived dogs exist.
Or just adopt one if you can't find a highly ethical breeder in your area.

I'm a RVT and at one of my former hospital we saw SO MANY Bernese Mountain, it was probably in the top 5 breed...and I had a love hate with seeing them just because of all the health issue they had and especially because they were among some of the nicest dog too...but when I was handed a puppy my heart would just melt!!! they are the sweetest pups with those monster paws...and those eyes...
This is exactly how I feel about them too! Such a beautiful, beautiful souls, but so so badly designed. We saw them all the time when I was working at the hospital too. They were always just so happy to do their jobs when they came in, it was amazing. And so often their owners are stuck in breeder contracts where they can’t even do anything about potentially cross breeding them with a dog that doesn’t have the hip issues or the health issues, so you get stuck with this unhealthy animal that’s such a beautiful soul and that makes me really sad. Not that I’m super pro-dog breeding anyway but even still.

My absolute favourite thing about Bernese Mountain dogs is how they LOVE to sit right next, even lean on their owners.
I had two Bernese Mountain dogs growing up. Sadly the first good boy, Lex, passed away from cancer when he was young. But later on our family adopted Maggie. She had the biggest paws as a pup, and the most guilt trippy face, her eyes were so full of sweetness. I miss them both so much.
I love Bernese Mountain Dogs. We actually got ours when we lived in Germany and we brought her home with us when we moved back. I did not realize that Germany does not have fleas and we moved to Texas where they have lots of fleas. She ended up with a secondary skin infection as a result of being allergic to flea bites. We eventually got her back to her old self but it took a while. They are delightful puppies and wonderful dogs with children.
their paws! They were like teddie bearssss
Berners are probably my favorite dog of all time.the only thing stoppong me from getting one (aside from cost & lack of space at the moment) is the fact that they're so short lived.
Their barks already sound like a full grown dog’s, just goes to show how huge these guys can get
All of them so cute, glad the owners are able to recognize the need for grooming so early. When the first pup laid her head on your shoulder, such a sweetie. They all seem so well tempered, congrats to the breeder on a great job.
To me, they’re the most beautiful dog breed ever ♥️
Growing up we had a Bernese Mountain dog, Cressie. She was a blast! We bred her once for a single litter. Taking care of those pups was a challenge. Cressie loved living in Colorado. She did not take the move to Texas well. She became an indoor dog very quickly. I still love this breed to this day. I have had many dogs since Cressie, but she will always have a front row in my memories.
On a washing a grooming note. You would have loved our Husky/Golden Lab mix Thor. He appeared to be a self cleaning dog. He was a light almost white tan color and he would get filthy out in the yard. Yet 30 minutes later he looked spotless. It wasn't until you actually got him in water that you discovered that the dirt didn't just disapear. It migrated into his fur. His fur had the texture of a lab with the density of a Husky. He took forever to wash and 9 times as long to dry. If you bathed him on Monday he would still be damp on Sunday.
Cressie sounds amazing!
I can only imagine what that was like, growing up with a beloved dog and then experiencing her puppies with her! Some experiences just hit different as a kid. My silver poodle just had puppies 18 months ago and BOY was that a once and a lifetime experience. Mad respect for good, reputable breeders like these girls have; I could never do it. We got insanely attached to our six puppies as is... so attached, infact, we all got that we kept two! It was the most terrifyingly exhilarating experience of my life. I'm so glad, though, that my young niece/honorary sister got to experience the whole thing too, and be a big part of it. She wants to be a vet, and she handled the whole thing like a champ. She's grown up with the puppies' dad since she was not quite three, and now barely into double digits she has puppies she's raised since literally the moment they were born, which is just awesome. That raising puppies from birth bit rocks. Giving most up... not so much.
Thor also sounds like an amazing dog! I've never had a husky mix, but grew up with a couple lab mixes, both great dogs. One of them, Jack, was so smart, and with his eyes we swore he had a tiny bit of wolf. He'd howl along in tune with any siren that went past, and was so vocally expressive.
I love the name "Thor" by the way. One of the puppies we almost kept we called Thor until he was renamed. We kept his brother, Zeus, who while I miss Thor and his siblings I'd not trade Zeus and his sister, Xena, for anything.
My daughters beautiful Bernese Heidi is the perfect, ultimate cuteness overload and the cuddliest lovebug you can wish for!! A dog to die for. 💖💖💖💖
Heidi's the perfect name for a Bernese! ❤
"It smells like poop!"
The poop on the floor at 3:35: >:)

A pre-service tip? Or advance compaint?
@@ToastontheEastCoast They wanted to give her a snack lmao
Got my first Bernese when I was 3 years old named him Beethoven he lived to be 15 years old such an amazing and beautiful breed
OMG…the Cute-O-Meter is in the red. These Floofs are just gorgeous. A friend of mine had a BMD. He was the sweetest, old soul. Unfortunately he developed serious spinal problems and only lived 4 years. Hopefully, these darlings are going to have long and happy lives with their Hoomans. The SIZE of those Paws ! She’s going to be a big girl. 💖🐕🦺
I met three Bernies that came bounding out of a house to greet me. One was 19 years old the other two were 17, I believe. They were all happy, healthy, and beautiful!?Not all of them die young. 🤓❤️
I love the chorus of "Not me!" when asked "who's first?"
Those three puppies are really adorable, very sweet natured too it seems. You holding the face of the third pup in your hand so she'd stay on the table, was just the sweetest thing Vanessa.
She needs to make a calendar of pets in Happy Hoodies. I'd buy it!
Yep I mentioned about your old Berner groom about my old Berner - I bought him from a breeder in Massillon, OH who had grand champions so I knew she was an excellent breeder. I brought my little boy home at 8 weeks and just like you noted, he had GIGANTIC paws even at 8 weeks! My Berner was 120 pounds - and his paws were even bigger than my hands as an adult!!! They are the best babies!
My family adopted a Bernie when I was in middle school. He's turning 10 this year and after 8 years of bathing him ourselves because a full groom from a professional is way too expensive, I can confirm that it is a long process. This is mostly because it involves lots of rewashing; the soap and water just don't get through the coat if you're not thorough. They are also very heavy when they inevitably go dead weight as you're trying to get them into the tub, and on the way out of the tub soaking wet. It takes all four of us and at least two and a half to three hours to get him fully washed, dried, and brushed. These pups are certainly smaller, but I'm sure they were just as much of a handful, especially with there being three of them and one of you. I admire your skill and dedication to your craft, and I understand whatever pains it took to get all these little guys de-stinkified :)
I am familiar with this breed. I had a friend who asked me to babysit for the weekend. We had so much fun. It was hard to say goodbye. 🐶😊🐶❤️❤️❤️
I had to bathe my Boxer pup (now nearly 3 years old) a couple of times a week in the early days; nice to know that wasn’t at all out of the ordinary!
4:16 Oh my God, she's so cute & precious, I can't handle it.
Every time I see your videos, I feel happier. Keep up the great work
I'm not jealous of people with money , luxurious lifestyle or whatever but I am so jealous of Vanessa. Vanessa is so blessed to meet so many different dogs and cats. I would love to be her assistant for a day.❤❤❤❤😂😂
I'd wanna be her secretary/front desk persoon. Get to say hi to all the sweet babies with less of the back strain lol. It'd be perfect for seeing all the wonderful before and after's with all sorts of animals
She could auction off time to be assistant during grooms. Talk about a money maker for charity!!
SAME!
As a person who worked at a groomers in high school and was a groomer before and during college, it’s a VERY difficult and thankless job. Vanessa makes it look fun but it’s not at all. I have scars on my hands from all the dogs that scratched me and a permanent shoulder injury. It was the most stressful type of job I’ve ever had.
Cuteness overload! I appreciate your fundraiser for the senior shelter. Our last two dogs were rehomed seniors and they really can be expensive (yes, mostly teeth). But they are so worth it.
I remember a time in Charlottesville, VA when a couple would walk their Bermese each evening through the "Mall". Those critters were loved by all; from college students to the homeless. So calm and beautiful.
From a Bernese dog to Nazis marching... definitely a downgrade.
@@BrasswatchmanAs someone who lived there during that event, I can tell you that it was devastating and deeply traumatic for all of us. The marchers came from out of town; the counter-protestors (including the one who was murdered) were our people. Please don't judge our city by the violence those Nazi terrorists inflicted on us.
Wow so cute puppy
Just want to hug and kiss them
So very sweet puppies ❤️
Love from Denmark
Your are doing a fantastic job 🇩🇰🐕🥰
OMG, those puppies are SO adorable
Girrrrl you were NOT lying when you said serotonin balls!! They're so cute and I'm legit relaxed. I love puppies!!! ❤😭🥲
Sometimes, the quality of life is more important than the quantity, and it's vital to consider this before getting a pet. I've never met anyone who regretted buying or rescuing a purebred Bernese, and hopefully, medical advancements can help extend their lifetimes soon.
No matter how much you love your Bernese it'll love you more. Just amazing dogs.
Huge floofy babies😍
So cute and well behaved🥹
Had my Berner for 7 yrs. She was a big ol' lap dog. Berners are quite agile and quick.
Oh y goodness, such sweet little girls!!!! They are going to be massive when they grow up!!!!
