The K1C is what the K1 should have been from the start, Im so glad I did not buy one as it took 3 new extruder designs and a new aluminium plate design to get a working machine. I went for the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon and AMS and I am so glad I did, I can just press print and leave it knowing full well I will have a perfect print when it is finished. If it wasn't for the Bambu Lab printers taking part of Crealities market share Creality would never have started fixing the issues in their printers they would have just moved on to the next half baked project.
the best thing bambulab did for the whole community was force other 3D printer manufacturers to actually innovate. it's ironic that Creality took this challenge with open arms, while prusa is just stirring up drama to defend his lack of innovation.
I wouldn't say Prusa isn't innovating. More that they're innovating in a different direction. I think they're XL tool changer is something the 3D printing world has needed for a while, and I'm glad they're tacking it.
My personal view is that in the last few months Prusa have spent a lot of time, effort and money on improving the production capacity in Prag. Now, a lot of that’s done and they can focus on products again. I hope they can come up with some great printers in the near future.
@@gorgonbert Not my view at all. They still use the gimmick of 3d printing parts for their printers. The parts look ugly, and slow down production time. They still design their hardware to purposefully be hard to replicate, completely going against their marketing bs of being open source and haven't released any of the important files for hardware for them to actually make that claim and not be lying. They still are using a funky old version of marlin that makes the actual contribution back to the project very difficult making it pseudo proprietary. Honestly, I have started to see through Prusa's veneer, and I'm not too hot on them.
@@BeefIngot 3d printed parts is not, and has not been, bottleneck in production. Prusa has been and currently is innovating. Not seeing it is defect in your eyes or more likely in your mindset. What innovation they (bambu)gave was a kick in the butt and it's extremely obvious. Their (prusa)modular farm system and the tool changer is where they spent all of their development time, which is going to hurt them in the consumer space for a year or so. @@kimmotoivanen
I'll tel you the truth, there wasn't a whole lot there in the 3D printing space. Mostly self driving cars and "sustainable" tech. Like projectors. Sustainable projectors. How? I don't know.
Why would you want it from creality as opposed to a company that didnt constantly break open source licenses, previously was ok with knowingly releasing dangerous printers, previously was ok with posting content they didnt own without credit or attribution and the list goes on and on. Why not just hope for any other company.
I would rather have seen the Ender 3 V3 with an upgraded Sprite extruder, but I am loving the K1 Max so I am sure it will be good, so painful waiting for it to be released even knowing it will only be a few days it is too long.
3d printing really has gone mainstream and printing has never been easier, my first printer was an ender 3 neo and it really opened my eyes to 3d printing.
"C" stands for many things 😅 I love how he makes sure not to mention the word Carbon, clearly he does'nt want to get in trouble, promising something the printer can't deliver.

Yes. They copied a whole "C". Keep in mind they for their start by copying and then innovating in the RepRap Mendle and Prusa MK1. This is what they do. But to their credit, their invitations are often copy-worthy.

I think the K1 was good for what it was. I think the K1C is better. Innovation. I'm a fan.
I really want a K1C max, though.
Bambu Lab
The sales guy here is fantastic.
You just know he has no clue, but uses all the words correctly 😉
Awesome 😋
I did think that at all. Duke seems to me to be a genuine fan of the tech. Maybe not as in depth as some of us, but he's into it.
@@3dpprofessor oh for sure… I meant it as a compliment… he clearly made an effort 👍
Who else would think core xz on a bed slinger? Voron switchwire comes to mind.
EXACTLY WHAT IT IS. CREALITY HAS NO INNOVATION, JUST COPIES AND CALLS THEIR OWN.
Thanks to bambulab for pushing other manufacturers to serve new features.
And thanks to Creality for making they're prouducts open source
Lets THANK RepRap for starting it all.
nobody wants a new ender3 what they want a ams
But you have to wait for the AMS V2 because the V1 will not work …… like all Creality machines.
Anyone got a free one of these ,ill have it ,I love my Ender 3s1 plus .

New motion system "who would've thought of that" Voron did years ago
Did Voron stand it up so it went on the X and Z? Because, yeah, that motion system isn't anything new, but I've never seen it used upright.
K1C on pre-order. Can't wait! Hope you didn't get to dizzy on that funky chair 😮😂
The only things I want from Creality:
K1Max + Multi-material system ...
Everything else is irrelevant for me.

Interested only in the Sermoon D3 Pro w/ dual extruder. Need to see some real world tests to see if it's better than the QIDI I-Fast.

A few over the years.

Based on my experience with the K1 max, I'll tell you what the c stands for. Starts with cu and ends with @#
Cursed? I don't think so, but manybe.
That was setup for a bird bath, why are you sitting in it ??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tweet tweet.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Give us multicolor
I won't argue with you on that.
That dual nozzle/head design was in Raise3D more than eight years ago...just sayin'
It was also in Makerbots Rep1, but neither of them moved out of the way at the time. The only ones that did were $20k Stratasys machines.
