It's a AAA title with T posing enemies, bosses you can cheese with ledges every single time, and random stutters, lag, and disconnects. There are tons of other issues, both those alone are enough to rate ANY game as shit.
And there's nothing to complement it. Atleast with New Vegas I could justify it being really ugly and buggy because the story is great. There's none of that in 76.

Bethesda wants to sell a game that cost them virtually nothing to make at a AAA price, and for that reason alone it should not be bought. It really does not matter how good the game is. high price = high standards and F76 standards are lower then 1985 games where you had to make sure your pc was not too hot while playing because it might crash the game. MUM!!! don't move the fan else you crash my game. (PC can't handle the heat= game is not at fault) Don't throw 3 nukes else you crash my game. (game can't handle it's purpose= game is shit)
As someone who’s played fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas, I am fucking embarrassed with the state the series is in. Bethesda has gradually neutered every great part of Fallout and replaced with this shit. I remember once watching a Fallout 4 review and the reviewer said that Fallout was dead, at the time I thought to myself “4 was just a minor hiccup the series will be back on its feet soon”. Now I wholeheartedly agree with him Fallout is dead, if this game does well Fallout is gone. According to the art book the added colour they introduced in Fallout 4 was to try and make the game feel more hopeful. Tbh I feel like it works to a certain extent however I do think the way they use lighting instead of colour in Far Harbour is far superior and it has a much stronger aesthetic. That being said I do think 76s art style is far too lush and green, like I get it's supposed to be far from nukes but there was supposed to have been decades of global nuclear winter which should have killed or at least stunted a lot of the vegetation and in general it just isn't consistent with the other games at all.
I actually think fallout 4's art style is really great to me. It looks more unique as a post-apocalypse setting. I'm one of the few people who likes the game but fallout 76 is way too far for me as everything feels cut and paste
Fallout 76 lacks content.. Huge world, but nothing to do Fallout NV in otherhand, quite small world, but there are factions and small tinkering everywhere. Fallout 76 needs NPCs and plot . Without those, its buggy dead shell that pretends to be a AAA game. I seriously dont get what Bethesda was thinking.... ($$$)

You know, the terrible quality of FO76 is even more shameful when you realize that Bethesda has studios like Id and Arkane among their subsidiaries. Here's my ultimate fantasy Fallout 5 dream team scenario which would never happen because it wouldn't be financially viable: A collaboration involving Id, Arkane, and Obsidian. Id would design the combat system and graphics engine. Arkane would design the gameplay and environments, using Fallout 1 and 2 as their foundation. Obsidian would design the characters, quests, and lore. The game would fuse the amazingly dynamic combat of 2016 Doom, the immersive world and enthralling character building of Prey, and the gritty storytelling and complex player choice structure of Fallout: New Vegas. It would never happen, but I swear I would pay double price for something like that.
The storage limit is due to having to store data on a server. Inventory in offline games just saves to your hard drive. Online gave need to save the data to the server. So they don't want to pay for more server space.

I was relly looking forward to a new Bethesta-game, because I loved Skyrim and Fallout 4, even tho they have their problems. And then they announsed Fallout 76 - a multiplayer game with no NPCs.. I kinda love that the game seem so bad xD Even tho I would rather get a new singelplayer game ;)
I feel so weird. I avoided the game like the plague when it came out for all these reasons. I just started playing it because it's on gamepass for PC for free right now and I said fuck it cause I needed a new multiplayer game to burn free time with. And.... I'm actually having fun? And thoroughly enjoying the game? What the fuck, how does that happen? I hardly have any crashes or gamebreaking bugs happen and the game runs very well on my system (max settings, 60fps consistently more or less). I HATED Fallout 4 for what it did in terms of design, but idk, something about taking that same design plan but making it into a light MMO just works for me. Maybe it's because I went in with such horribly low expectations, but I'm very pleasantly surprised and have no regrets (then again, I didn't pay for the game so I didn't get burned on $60, so that might have a *big* thing to do with it lol). If they went free to play with the game and keep updating it with free content like they're doing then I think they could at least *start* to salvage some of their reputation. But this is Bethesda we're talking about, a game company that seems hellbent on usurping EA as the worst company in the modern game industry.
I invested an acumulated more than one day in order to make Fallout 4 playable on my PC (GTX770 4GB, 3.4Mhz Intel Core i5 CPU, 16GB of RAM - able to run the Witcher 3 on High settings with a reasonable Framerate). Getting it to run on a 21:9 Ultra-Widescreen was already a fuzz. Then I had to manually switch out each and every uncompressed Vanilla Texture because my GTX770 could not handle that required amount of Memory and sometimes textures just wouldn't load. After that has been done I still needed some Performance Tweaks for the Downtown Area and for foggy weather (which turned out incredibly taxing on my system). After being done installing those I still had serious lags inside some buildings, going as far as some objects not even loading and thus resulting in the player "falling" outside the world. So that also needed to be addressed until I was able to "enjoy" the game as the developers meant to. I still had that incredibly annoying lag inside the Corvega factory though and only hell knows why I couldn't fix that. But that game was just very sloppy programmed.

Runescape 1 and 2 where released 17 and 11 years ago respectively. Why is this, In 2018 Anno Domini, not only happening but is acceptable for developers to do right now? I can get crafting tables to a point, but not Vendors, that's just being lazy.

Red Dead can't even crack 8.0 for user scores and that speaks volumes of how serious we can take these reviews. Yet Anime games that a few dozen people would play gets tons of 10s like it's GOTY, yeah, impossible to take cereal.
My option of the game personally, it's not horrible, I was a huge fan of fallout 4 and I do enjoy some of the mechanics in this game, but, I agree the game is 100% nor finished, the beta was released way too late and Bethesda had zero time to address even half the issues found, my two biggest complains about this game beside the stability issues and bugs, are that 1. The world is to big for yourself, you get excited to find a new location, you kill everything in it and all you find is a trunk with some ammo and the loot from the corpses, or there isn't even enemies and you spend half an hour searching this place to find loot that isn't even there, and secondly, the difficulty of the enemies, specifically the scorched, is way too easy, in their decision to remove raiders in this game they added scorched, filled this game to the brim with them, and at this point they don't seem to get more difficult as you progress, they just eat up ur bullets and are annoying as fuck to find, the combat isn't hard enough, and the one time you find a hard enemy, it takes no less that a little strafying and one stimpak b fore you kill it, the game needs some serious work
Bethesda games I treat like MS Windows. I let a year or 2 go by so they can work all the shitty code and bugs out and get a reasonably functional piece of software. It amazes me that so many people are early adopters when the track record is Ssssooo bad. It's gonna be borderline unplayable for months. Why spend money on it until it's in a finished state?
I think most people are just tired of waiting. Why release an unfinished game and wait for two years for it to be good when you can just release it after it's good?

not trying to hate on this video, but it seems like they lack any knowledge on certain subjects of this video, like when talk about the nukes, they seem to be confused on what a vault was and it seems like they barely played the game at all.... even the guy on the left said he played fallout 4 for an hour, so what you were level 10 at the time and decided to review the game? I live in the exact same area the game takes places in. Only redeeming quality. Never going to pay full price for a fallout game after what they did to fallout 4.
I liked Fallout 4 WAY more than New Vegas. Just like I liked Skyrim WAY more than I liked Oblivion. Fallout 76 is just fundamentally flawed. This list of flaws are extensive... multiplayer, the bugs, the exploits, the linear mission, the lack of NPCs, it is unfinished, nothing is permanent, there are no moral choices, there is absolutely no replayability, weapons break too fast, food spoils to fast, too small of stash, too small of budget, and the graphics are pretty lame for a modern AAA title. Even giving all of this I enjoyed the game, but it was a shadow of Fallout 4 and when I have over 2000 hours and 8 character playthroughs in Fallout 4 and I have 1 character and 90 hours of play in Fallout 76 and I am done with the game I feel let down. I finished everything but grinding for levels and loot... which I hate. I am expecting new content is going to take 3+ months and they are not going to add more than maybe another 10-20 hours of play tops... especially when I have unlocked almost everything on the map. I think as a $40 it might be a 6/10, but for a $60 game with absolutely no replayability I give it a solid 4/10.
The series peaked at Fallout 2. Fallout 3 was the FPS/RPG-light equivalent of Fallout Tactics, in that it was a half-arsed Fallout paint job slapped over the top of a completely different game. It wasn't a "bad game," but at the same time it wasn't a Fallout game and you would have had largely the same experience if the Fallout elements had been removed entirely. Fallout New Vegas showed promise, but was seriously flawed due to Bethesda's influence and the use of the ageing Gambryo engine. After that the series has been on a death spiral into lowest common denominator trend chasing. Hand the game to Obsidian and give them a decent engine to work with and *maybe* the franchise can get back on it's feet. I won't hold my breath though. After the failure of 76 I think we're looking at the series being put on ice indefinitely.
I’d go as far as calling the game objectively bad, I really hope this is a wake up call for bethesda, but unfortunately I think this company will be a complete joke within the next decade.

One of the bits that pissed me off the most is that the counter the point that there are no npcs Bethesda said that it’s because you’re the first people back out into the world ....
You know, the terrible quality of FO76 is even more shameful when you realize that Bethesda has studios like Id and Arkane among their subsidiaries.
Here's my ultimate fantasy Fallout 5 dream team scenario which would never happen because it wouldn't be financially viable:
A collaboration involving Id, Arkane, and Obsidian.
Id would design the combat system and graphics engine.
Arkane would design the gameplay and environments, using Fallout 1 and 2 as their foundation.
Obsidian would design the characters, quests, and lore.
The game would fuse the amazingly dynamic combat of 2016 Doom, the immersive world and enthralling character building of Prey, and the gritty storytelling and complex player choice structure of Fallout: New Vegas.
It would never happen, but I swear I would pay double price for something like that.

The storage limit is due to having to store data on a server. Inventory in offline games just saves to your hard drive. Online gave need to save the data to the server. So they don't want to pay for more server space.
the amount of data that saves is negligible. The real reason is that they are making a problem so they can fix later, as a microtransaction ofc

Actually the real reason is due to a bug that carried over from Fallout 4, it’s where the game becomes more unstable and laggy as you amass more junk in a container.
The A-Wing is the fastest fighter we have, capable of matching a TIE Interceptor in speed. Twin J-77 Event Horizon engines power the craft, and twin blaster cannons provide offensive weaponry. However, what we gain in speed, we lose in defense. The deflector shield capability is significantly less than the X-Wing, so make sure you use your speed to dodge lasers rather than relying on shields. The A-Wing also carries a limited number of missiles.

when i see all the bad reviews of F76 i get a flashback all the way back from 2015 when i saw angry joe review of F4 and heard him say: "this engine needs to be taken out back and shot". its incomprehensible to me that they still use it 3 years later on another game and actually release it even though it often looks shittier than F4 back in the day.

I’m pretty sure the only other way to store things is by other chests that aren’t your settlement chest (they can be opened and stolen from by other players) also in new Vegas, another company called obsidian who split with them after that game
As someone who likes the game, I honestly love this video. I also KNOW the game has a fuckton of issues. A lot of the stock you tubers yelling at you “THIS GAME BAD” but this is a really good video. It’s just two people having a conversation (IHE is my favorite TH-camr).

I was relly looking forward to a new Bethesta-game, because I loved Skyrim and Fallout 4, even tho they have their problems. And then they announsed Fallout 76 - a multiplayer game with no NPCs.. I kinda love that the game seem so bad xD Even tho I would rather get a new singelplayer game ;)

I feel so weird. I avoided the game like the plague when it came out for all these reasons. I just started playing it because it's on gamepass for PC for free right now and I said fuck it cause I needed a new multiplayer game to burn free time with. And.... I'm actually having fun? And thoroughly enjoying the game? What the fuck, how does that happen? I hardly have any crashes or gamebreaking bugs happen and the game runs very well on my system (max settings, 60fps consistently more or less). I HATED Fallout 4 for what it did in terms of design, but idk, something about taking that same design plan but making it into a light MMO just works for me. Maybe it's because I went in with such horribly low expectations, but I'm very pleasantly surprised and have no regrets (then again, I didn't pay for the game so I didn't get burned on $60, so that might have a *big* thing to do with it lol). If they went free to play with the game and keep updating it with free content like they're doing then I think they could at least *start* to salvage some of their reputation. But this is Bethesda we're talking about, a game company that seems hellbent on usurping EA as the worst company in the modern game industry.
I invested an acumulated more than one day in order to make Fallout 4 playable on my PC (GTX770 4GB, 3.4Mhz Intel Core i5 CPU, 16GB of RAM - able to run the Witcher 3 on High settings with a reasonable Framerate). Getting it to run on a 21:9 Ultra-Widescreen was already a fuzz. Then I had to manually switch out each and every uncompressed Vanilla Texture because my GTX770 could not handle that required amount of Memory and sometimes textures just wouldn't load. After that has been done I still needed some Performance Tweaks for the Downtown Area and for foggy weather (which turned out incredibly taxing on my system). After being done installing those I still had serious lags inside some buildings, going as far as some objects not even loading and thus resulting in the player "falling" outside the world. So that also needed to be addressed until I was able to "enjoy" the game as the developers meant to. I still had that incredibly annoying lag inside the Corvega factory though and only hell knows why I couldn't fix that. But that game was just very sloppy programmed.

This game is an epitome of trash, an opposite to quality. As if they intentionally wanted to make the most shit game possible. Or simply didnt give a single fuck about it. At all.

My option of the game personally, it's not horrible, I was a huge fan of fallout 4 and I do enjoy some of the mechanics in this game, but, I agree the game is 100% nor finished, the beta was released way too late and Bethesda had zero time to address even half the issues found, my two biggest complains about this game beside the stability issues and bugs, are that 1. The world is to big for yourself, you get excited to find a new location, you kill everything in it and all you find is a trunk with some ammo and the loot from the corpses, or there isn't even enemies and you spend half an hour searching this place to find loot that isn't even there, and secondly, the difficulty of the enemies, specifically the scorched, is way too easy, in their decision to remove raiders in this game they added scorched, filled this game to the brim with them, and at this point they don't seem to get more difficult as you progress, they just eat up ur bullets and are annoying as fuck to find, the combat isn't hard enough, and the one time you find a hard enemy, it takes no less that a little strafying and one stimpak b fore you kill it, the game needs some serious work
Bethesda games I treat like MS Windows. I let a year or 2 go by so they can work all the shitty code and bugs out and get a reasonably functional piece of software. It amazes me that so many people are early adopters when the track record is Ssssooo bad. It's gonna be borderline unplayable for months. Why spend money on it until it's in a finished state?
I think most people are just tired of waiting. Why release an unfinished game and wait for two years for it to be good when you can just release it after it's good?

not trying to hate on this video, but it seems like they lack any knowledge on certain subjects of this video, like when talk about the nukes, they seem to be confused on what a vault was and it seems like they barely played the game at all.... even the guy on the left said he played fallout 4 for an hour, so what you were level 10 at the time and decided to review the game? I think this would be a better conversation if they played the game more or at least brought up better reasons why they dislike the game, it feels like they give the same water down reasons stolen from other people

I liked Fallout 4 WAY more than New Vegas. Just like I liked Skyrim WAY more than I liked Oblivion. Fallout 76 is just fundamentally flawed. This list of flaws are extensive... multiplayer, the bugs, the exploits, the linear mission, the lack of NPCs, it is unfinished, nothing is permanent, there are no moral choices, there is absolutely no replayability, weapons break too fast, food spoils to fast, too small of stash, too small of budget, and the graphics are pretty lame for a modern AAA title. Even giving all of this I enjoyed the game, but it was a shadow of Fallout 4 and when I have over 2000 hours and 8 character playthroughs in Fallout 4 and I have 1 character and 90 hours of play in Fallout 76 and I am done with the game I feel let down. I finished everything but grinding for levels and loot... which I hate. I am expecting new content is going to take 3+ months and they are not going to add more than maybe another 10-20 hours of play tops... especially when I have unlocked almost everything on the map. I think as a $40 it might be a 6/10, but for a $60 game with absolutely no replayability I give it a solid 4/10.
The series peaked at Fallout 2. Fallout 3 was the FPS/RPG-light equivalent of Fallout Tactics, in that it was a half-arsed Fallout paint job slapped over the top of a completely different game. It wasn't a "bad game," but at the same time it wasn't a Fallout game and you would have had largely the same experience if the Fallout elements had been removed entirely.
Fallout New Vegas showed promise, but was seriously flawed due to Bethesda's influence and the use of the ageing Gambryo engine. After that the series has been on a death spiral into lowest common denominator trend chasing.
Hand the game to Obsidian and give them a decent engine to work with and *maybe* the franchise can get back on it's feet. I won't hold my breath though. After the failure of 76 I think we're looking at the series being put on ice indefinitely.
I’d go as far as calling the game objectively bad, I really hope this is a wake up call for bethesda, but unfortunately I think this company will be a complete joke within the next decade.
