El fin de semana pasado fue muy divertido. El viernes visité a mi abuela. El sábado, mi esposo y yo llevamos a nuestra hija a un evento para aprender a conducir. El domingo fue mi aniversario de bodas y mi esposo y yo lo celebramos en un restaurante de mariscos. Anoche mi familia y yo vimos varios episodios de la serie de televisión 1883.
Hola amiga, I'm going thru your Hero Spanish course again to improve and/or make sure i didn't miss anything. I'm finally to the point where i can understand the first half of the movie Coco, but i really have to pay attention and wear my audifonos so that i don't miss anything, and i wasn't able to concentrate past the halfway point...... i don't enjoy trying to understand Spanish, i just like it when i know what is being said without effort. It's getting much easier to understand Mexican spanish but i'm still not an expert.

I watched it the other day, and it has tons of slang and difficult expressions! They also speak quite fast 😬 It's not a simple challenge, but I'm glad you're still working on it 😉
No hizo mucho este fin de semana :( Fui en casa y estudié para los exámenes de fin de semestre. Oh espera, en realidad hice algo - hice escalopes. Esta fue la primera vez que hice pollo. Y también fui al gimnasio.
¡Gracias por compartir! Pequeñas correcciones: "no hice mucho este fin de semana". Y para decir "fui en casa" no usamos 'ser' o 'ir', usamos "estar" o "quedarse" 😊 Nunca he comido escalopes, pero se ven muy ricos 🙂
