    I do this and this definitely happened during quarantine. I gained like 26-28 lbs. it happened while I was working out but then I used intermittent fasting for a couple days which is how I usually eat , 2 meals a day at most and light munchies throughout and water. So I went from 185 approximately, to 211, while working out, went back to Normal eating then dropped to 206 then 200. Am I not reducing my caloric intake properly by returning to normal eat so fast ? I’m sure I’ll return to 185 once we call play ball again but I’m just tryin to cut body fat. Although I gained , my body fat went up from 17,18 to 22 which isn’t much of a gain

    Hey there! Thank you for publicizing this video, my really obese friend Patryk lost a massive amount of weight. In November, he weighed approximately 437 pounds, now he weighs a grand total of 432 pounds! He is really thankful for this video, he feels better than ever. He is a volleyball player, and his coach really wanted him to lose the pounds. He is now going back to his regular diet of pizza, cupcakes, cola, candy, burgers, as celebration. 🍕🍟🌭🥪🌮🌯🍥🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🎉

    Yea I see I’ve been working on my vertical and I gain muscle very naturally I am 6’2 199 pounds and 16 yo but i can gain weight also quick so I think if I cut my weights slowly for some good months and before season I’ll be so much better athletically

    Once your metabolism is out it can take forever to get it back and lead to some serious health condition. 10 years of rollercoaster dieting on my part: 10 years of doing the right things it is finally normalizing now at 40. Our squid leader is speaking the truth!

    What if after the diet I add 50 calories each week and then will it adjust and return back to the metabolic rate before the diet?

    I still think 2 pounds is too much. I think a half a pound or a 1 the most is best for also having energy to perform

    You barley told us how. I understood that you shouldn't go on a extreme calroic deficit. But I don't know how to loose the 2lbs a week all you really said was don't loose muscle and loose fat because nothing really changes.

    The fix is reverse dieting slowly. By increasing your calories for a short period and then slowly cut them.

    Does this work the other way too? Could you eat a lot and have your metabolism adapt to burn more then eat a normal amount?

    • @KIAS1
      @KIAS1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it does. If your metabolism slows down due to losing weight too quickly like he’s warning about, go back to eating more calories for 1-3 days to speed your metabolism back up. THEN, go right back to cutting calories again.

  • @KIAS1
    @KIAS1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I respectfully disagree here. There is a very easy to counter this issue: go back to eating more calories for 1-3 days which speeds your metabolism back up, then you immediately resume your diet.
    Rapid weight loss gets a very bad reputation due to a lack of knowledge about how to maintain it. For a lot of people who are feeling pessimistic about losing weight, they need rapid loss weight results for encouragement.
