I saw Ghost open for Iron Maiden around this time. Being one of those old dudes who doesn't want to listen to anything but what I used to, I didn't have a clue what the band sounded like and had only seen pictures, thinking it gimmicky. It was one of the most memorable performances I had seen and instantly became a fan of their (his) music. I'd like to hope at least a few of the people in this audience had the same experience.
I haven't seen them live yet, but just discovered them, I thought the same thing when I saw what they looked like, but then I started listening to the songs and became obsessed. I am going to go see them in San Diego at the end of August.
Was this Belgrade? I came to hear them more than Iron Maiden (no shots fired) and was astonished how many people never heared of them but in the end everyone was loving them
Its definitely a good track but perfect in my humble opinion would be something akin to say Lateralus by Tool. That song literally has it all. Amazing vocals, lyrics, drums, base, guitar, solo , meaning, hidden meaning, even the fibonacci sequence and so on, you name it. This is a good song but perfection requires so much more for me. You may most likely disagree or maybe not but please compare this to a tack like the one I mentioned and perfection is hopefully not how you describe this one. Ghost is a great band with great ideology but I honestly expect better from the new album March 11.

Agreed. It's a good job, but it's not uploaded "as is" from the TV-broadcast, because most times it includes techniques that isn't ideal for music. IE, it's tweaked to take away some of the limits that those techniques brings.

And he is
Insurrection, he is spite, he's the force that made me be
He is
Nostro dis pater, nostr' alma mater

And he is

Patrick Müller I’m slowly becoming a Nameless Ghoul
I am not a musician but I can appreciate the way that this performance was put together so meticulously. It is a seamless creation where one aspect compliments the other. It was thought out and nothing was overlooked. Not many other artist put this amount or work in to a performance. I don't buy many albums but I pre-order every new Ghost album

One of my absolute favourite songs right now! Saw them 9/7 this year before metallica! Great gig and they got a New fan 😀🎵🎵🎵
New fan here. I’ve listened to most of their songs and I just love these guys. I don’t have a favourite piece since every single one is pure perfection.

that moment in wich this song has better quality on this video than on the actual album haha. thank you
One of the few cases where I love the live track and studio track equally. This song is an absolute banger!

Every... Single... Time... this is a Masterpiece.
Ghost is one of the most satisfying bands to listen to. Metal with great composition and melodic development all with a male lead that can sing!
This performance is so professional and so well done I can't help but to keep watching it over and over again! Simply astounding and amazing!
His voice reminds me very much of R.E.M

Papa's voice is so beautiful! Such elegant stage presence! Wow!
Thank you TH-cam for for putting this in my suggested videos hadn't heard this one
It's so rare to have a live performance sound better than the recording.
Absolutely! A really good job of the sound engineer and one of Ghost's best performances (musically / technically) of "He Is" ..!
Agreed. It's a good job, but it's not uploaded "as is" from the TV-broadcast, because most times it includes techniques that isn't ideal for music. IE, it's tweaked to take away some of the limits that those techniques brings.
Well, whoever made it sound like it does here, thumbs up :)
This is the one song that I can NEVER get out of my head....Love this so much.....Praise Jesu......hey...wait..........
Joshua Clark lol
The more I listen to this band, the more I can't help humming to their music. They are a great band to watch live! But, their music is just flat out great!
voz angelical
This so profoundly moves me that I can't put the way it makes me feel into words but it's euphoric.
Buena banda, original y peculiar, una grata sorpresa. Gran composición He Is, recomandada 100%. Habrá que seguirles. Salu2.
