Tobias has said in several interviews his goal is to bring joy and happiness to people and those are definitely some of the happiest concert goers I've ever seen. He's nailing it.
*Update* I saw Ghost 8/26 in San Diego and it was the best damn show I've ever been to and I've been to some AMAZING concerts. I'm heartbroken I was sick and missed their show with Volbeat. I hope they tour together again someday.

I love the juxtaposition! It messed with me for a while. I so wanted to put a neat little label on them but I found that once I stopped trying to figure out what they are and just accepted them for the music, it was like a door opened for me and it was beautiful. Such a unique band.

My father passed away very unexpectedly eight days ago, on January 13th, and it has been very tough on me mentally and emotionally, as one would expect. It was a total shock to my family. This song has become a sort of tribute for me to my dad. We have always known what he wanted if he were ever in this situation, so we took him off the ventilator last Friday so that he could pass in peace. I went to this concert 2 years ago. It was really special. This was one of my favorite songs. One of my best friends just passed away two days ago after 2 years fighting cancer. I loved him dearly. I was so afraid to dedicate this song to him because I didn't want to think he would die soon. Now, all I think about is how I wish he is now eternal, and has no pain, no suffering. I love the juxtaposition! It messed with me for a while. I so wanted to put a neat little label on them but I found that once I stopped trying to figure out what they are and just accepted them for the music, it was like a door opened for me and it was beautiful. Such a unique band.

I definitely believe that Tobias Forge is fully aware of how important Ghost as a whole as well as how the music alone has touched so many lives around the world and to what level of effect Ghost has pure genius don't ever stop making music , for me your music has become a daily routine and now that I have Ghost I wouldn't go back to my life without the music you've made my heart and my soul are forever changed on the deepest level its just crazy the feelings that fill u when u hear the music its unforgettable

Feb 4th this year I died, I was dead, flatlined, gone, they bought me back in A&E. My mum passed the next day. This song is so emotional for a lot of fans, it's more than that....tell your family and friends you love them, don't waste time, enjoy your life, just don't hurt anyone along the way xx

This guy absolutely gets it. Of all the interviews I've seen with Tobias, he's never once come off as arrogant or cocky. Confident, yes. But very humble and appreciative. Ghost deserve all the rewards and fame they are receiving. Good on them.

I bonded over this song today with my grandma, who wanted to know something about the concert I went to last week and the band in general. We'd lost grandpa last year. We both teared up. She's such an amazing and open person, once I finished explaining and presenting some clips, she was all like 'now this is a band i'd like to see,' she was especially taken by the happiness expressed by the fans :D

My mother passed away after a long, courageous confrontation with cancer. This was 2 years ago but still I come back to this song time and again - and it always makes brings me to a special place where I can understand the gravity of true love and the meaning of "forever" when it comes to loss and the yearning for that which has passed. It seems that they are afraid to enjoy life. And for everything they need an appointment (termin). Even to go to a bar with friends they need an appointment, they are not spontaneous. It could have footages from Portugal, Spain, Italy or Greece, but from Germany sure not.
Dear friends and Ghost family. I only discovered this song and video about a month ago, and It's been in heavy rotation ever since. My father passed away very unexpectedly eight days ago, on January 13th, and it has been very tough on me mentally and emotionally, as one would expect. It was a total shock to my family. This song has become a sort of tribute for me to my dad. We have always known what he wanted if he were ever in this situation, so we took him off the ventilator last Friday so that he could pass in peace. When I got into my car, completely exhausted mentally, I played this song. "This is the moment of just letting go. This is the moment of just letting go." The song was speaking to me directly. I have attempted to make cover songs on these masterpieces, but I have not been able to make any. "Can you feel me longing for you forever?" These were the words of the legend that brought classic metal back and converted many, such as myself, into metalheads.

7 years ago I lost my lifelong best pal,Stacey Baer. She died of Cancer. For the last week of her life,she brought her bedding down my apartment and laid them between my legs,on the floor there and slept. Until her lung collapsed and she died right there,..I just,..she was so afraid,and she didnt want to be without me close to her. I kept telling her that she should go to the hospital but she wouldnt. I cried at the mention of her name for two years,and still tear up when I am reminded. Though now I can hold back the tears.

I went to this concert 2 years ago. It was really special. This was one of my favorite songs. One of my best friends just passed away two days ago after 2 years fighting cancer. I loved him dearly. I was so afraid to dedicate this song to him because I didn't want to think he would die soon. Now, all I think about is how I wish he is now eternal, and has no pain, no suffering. And that I hope he really knew that everytime I read fantasy books to him when he could no longer see anything, I was at the same time telling him how much I loved him and how he should have never felt like he didn't deserve to be treated like a king in the end. When my grandma passed away it was really hard to let her go.
She saw me growing and was always there for me, even when my parents couldnt. She hold me when i had nightmares and as a grown up pansexual girl she was the only member of my family that I came out to, and she said that it was ok to love. She teach me to never accept any abuse, to be fearless, to do whatever makes me happy.
I remember refusing to see how they would take her body away from me, so I played this song on repeat during the whole funeral and while letting her go.
