Just seen these live in Bristol,,My daughter,having bought me a ticket for my 59th Birthday,,(Best Birthday I ever had,being at this band`s gig) ,,,-the tingles are still running down my spine witnessing Ghost play this. I think ghost is a great band. I have always been a blue oyster cult fan and I hear their influence in some ghost songs. this is a good thing!

LET'S STOP ARGUING if it's live or not. This is a combination of 6 footages OVERLAID with the STUDIO RECORDED version. It's for the satisfaction of the video editor. I'd do this too if I was the uploader and as a GHOST fan, we'd do something of HIGH QUALITY. THIS SONG IS VERY BEAUTIFUL, ENJOY!

It's quite sure is the recorded version embedded with live reactions. It's impossible this perfect reproduction first of all because of the acoustics.
Just saw Ghost this past week in Bucharest with Metallica. They were absolutely fantastic!!
This is one of those songs that even if you're not a fan of ghost BC or the genre that you could really love.

Only wish the "Ghost Sonata" wasn't at the beginning, but I'll overlook it, I'm sure you had a good reason for having it there. +Mika Karpale Yep, thank you. To put an end to the discussion whether it's live or not, the truth is that there are two audio sources combined, one live and one studio version. The intention was to make a video with footage to this song, as the official one is just a lyric video. However, as there is live footage, I decided to add some live audio to the studio version, to fit the footage better.

He is merely keeping a ride cymbal/hi-hat pattern in the background so the other members of the band have reference to play at exactly the same time. He doesn't jump into it full throttle until the bass player jumps up there and they come in together.

Ghost has a lots of influences of Alice In Chains ... especially in the song Cirice.
Its a great live video. Props to the creator, but the audio can't be live. The acoustic guitar sound in the intro to he is gives it away, when their obviously playing electrics.
You do realize that's electric too right lol? Are you not a guitar player?
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. I've been playing the guitar for almost 30 years. I've seen ghost live and they play the intro to "He is" on electrics. They do not use an acoustic backing track live. On the album the intro is recorded on acoustic. All I was pointing out is the audio for he is in this video starts out with acoustic guitar while the video shows them playing electric guitars. I'm pretty sure its just the album version with live video matched up to the audio. When I saw them live papas voice was not flawless like in this recording.

Well there's a vocal backing track he sings over, and seems like it's louder on the soundboard recording than his actual mic. If you've seen other versions of this song live, and know how he sings it, you can hear it in this version too.

Correct. It might say it's from the "soundboard" but this is right off the album. It seems to have some of the live sound added in for effect but this is like 95% album version. I have heard this song performed live many times and it sounds nothing like this at all.

+Simon Egelund It's not weird dude, you just have different tastes. Don't sweat it. In the beginning i also found their sound to be a bit odd but it was just a matter of time before i found myself praising our lord and savior Lucifer.
As i am writing this i am sitting at home listening to my new album of Ghost i just bought... So yeah, i now think this band is simply amazing!
