Not quite there. As long as puerile slop is played on radio this sort of thing will never be heard by most people. The younger generation is missing out on so much being forced by SONY to listen to idiotic drool by Niki Minaj, Taylor Swift or that Land Whale LIzzo and their garbage auto tune and their 50 million backing dancers (just to mention 3). Almost every single modern act looks and sounds the same on stage and in the studio.
Phew, the sound out of that strat at the beginning is absolutely insane. So perfectly crisp, while distorted and echoing. To be able to maintain the typical, and beautiful, strat tone while being so heavily distorted is amazing. Truly a masterful touch
I love the fun them two guitarists had trying to outdo each other. This is what Rock n roll is all about. People having fun and giving the paying crowd a good show in the process. Well done guys, I will definitely be looking at your CD's from now on.
This is brilliant! Metal guitarist often get called out for not being that great, just loud and distorted but these boys can play! Fantastic touch and feel from both of them, love it.
I was at this show! It was my first time seeing Ghost live and I was sitting in the nosebleeds where Aether was performing. I had a great time seeing them and my dad did too, he loved their rhythm :) hopefully I can get him to listen to more of their music, they rock!!
Best concert ever. I saw them in Tucson, Arizona. The Ghouls were the best. Goofing off and having a good time. The guitar battle was epic. If Ghost ever comes back to Arizona, I am seeing them again.

It's just a great rock song. Everyone knows it and can sing along. It doesn't matter where in the world it's played, people know it and love it. They probably don't know the backstory and doesn't get the references, but they do know the chorus.

Check out some Randy Rhoades videos, Mick Mars, Eddie Van Halen, John 5, literally almost anyone in a semi known band are expenitially better than these ass hats.
Amazing. It seems like they're playing songs relevant to each location during this segment. So far I've heard Deep in the Heart of Texas in TX, Sweet Home Alabama in AL, Baby We Were Born to Run in NJ (where Springsteen is from), We're Not Gonna Take It on Long Island (where Twisted Sister is from), and the french anthem in Paris. Another layer of brilliance on an endlessly brilliant tour. Does anyone know of any others?
I had never even heard of "Ghost" because radio doesn't wish to play Heavy Metal any longer. Classic Rock, most certainly because it is for the people who are 50-60+ years old, but ... I am 60+ years old and I wish to hear new bands, new sounds and see new acts and this video is just so unusual and cool that bands such as "Ghost" should be on the airwaves!!!
Best thing you can do is find other mediums to listen to music to. Hell, try youtube; start out with someone you know and then just follow suggestions till you get to bands you never heard of. Spotify is also good for such things. Radio (sadly) is dead.
I went to a Ghost concert several years ago with my 15 year old daughter and loved it! Bear in mind my concert days were the late seventies and early eighties. It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to and I have seen many great ones!
I don't recall ever hearing Ghost before. I do know that when you have stacks of Marshall amps and guitars, it's gonna ROCK! Looked like a badass show. Keep on jamming .
My very first concert was when I was 9 years old in 1991 and it was poison and warrant it was a great night cool concert from what I remember I also got strep throat for the first time that night as well

I got to see Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers with Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes play this song as the finale at the Amphitheater in Pelham, Alabama back in the early 90's. It was epic.

I just now came across Ghost, while searching for upcoming concerts near me.. wanted to see who they were and genre... This is now my 6th or 7th video I've watched in a row... I'm hooked, and in love. Great tunes, and thanks so much for this video, too!
Absolutely! They seem to be one of those bands you either dislike them or you go all-in on them lol. But for me they are the complete package. First and foremost I love the music. Secondly the live performances are just jaw-dropping. That the whole spiel in lore behind the band is just a fantastic bonus! If you haven't looked into some of those lore videos I highly recommend it. Also they have different short film "chapters" That explain a lot as well and most are usually pretty hilarious too
I wasn't sure about Ghost at first, but taking cues certainly from The man Alice Cooper, and having a good sense of song structure and music, Tobias Forge has created both a band with good really consistent songs, and an "act" to watch during a show. I think he is in touch with what youth today want, which was always Nikki Sixx's greatest ability.
What a fun show!!! (If you had never seen Joe Satriani or had little idea of technical guitar playing or composition). But most of us fall into that category, huh? Besides it is live, and we are here!!! ❤🔥
I absolutely love the personal flairs in the dueling guitars. At the Corpus Christi, Tx show my fiance and I attended(our first date, actually), they ended with Yellow Rose of Texas.
I grew up in the 70s doing vocals in a band called Cliques and Sweet Home Alabama was a song we did everywhere we went. I'll never forget the day the world lost that band.
I was at this show! First ritual and well worth the 16 hours round trip of driving lol hopefully the come closer to the Coast next time but man, what a fantastic show they put on!
I love ghost. With them doing a lynyrd skynyrd...is awesome. From one genre to another...no matter what genre...all musicians love and respect all kinds. Whether its metal to country...country to rap...rap to punk....its all about respecting all genres.
I have to admit I dont know this band, however, it is cool to see dueling guitars. Old school rock stuff. Man this is awesome, thanks for sharing. If you look at the guy playing stage right he references his watch by looking and tapping on it. I wonder if he saw the awards show where thay cut Frank Sinatra off right in the middle of his performance and went to a commercial. When Billy Joel took the stage right after that he did the same thing during his performance. He stopped playing looked out over the audience and then started looking at he watch. This guy playing the guitar reminded me of that. Anyways, this is awesome.
Well hopefully you get a second and do a little TH-cam dive on them. They are so much more than just the music. They're the total package. They're a bit polarizing but I absolutely love them!

Oh friend. Go in a ghost dive. Promise you won't be disappointed. Although fair warning. A few songs you might hear once and be like meh. Then the second time your bobbing along. Third time you're singing at the top of your lungs. This has happened to me with a few of them.

I love ghost. With them doing a lynyrd skynyrd...is awesome. From one genre to another...no matter what genre...all musicians love and respect all kinds. Whether its metal to country...country to rap...rap to punk....its all about respecting all genres.

I have to admit I dont know this band, however, it is cool to see dueling guitars. Old school rock stuff. Man this is awesome, thanks for sharing. If you look at the guy playing stage right he references his watch by looking and tapping on it. I wonder if he saw the awards show where thay cut Frank Sinatra off right in the middle of his performance and went to a commercial. When Billy Joel took the stage right after that he did the same thing during his performance. He stopped playing looked out over the audience and then started looking at he watch. This guy playing the guitar reminded me of that. Anyways, this is awesome.
Well hopefully you get a second and do a little TH-cam dive on them. They are so much more than just the music. They're the total package. They're a bit polarizing but I absolutely love them!

I heard them on the radio. I didn't like them. Watched them live with Volbeat. I am now a fan for life! The band is one of the best live shows on the planet! Worth every penny!
Oh friend. Go in a ghost dive. Promise you won't be disappointed. Although fair warning. A few songs you might hear once and be like meh. Then the second time your bobbing along. Third time you're singing at the top of your lungs. This has happened to me with a few of them.
