    The price of vintage air-cooled 911 sports-cars has skyrocketed over the past ten years forcing Porsche enthusiasts to look at alternatives if they too want to own a Porsche classic. The Porsche 968 is the very last of the front engine, rear-wheel drive sports cars of the early 1990s. In fact, Porsche didn't make another front engine car again until the Cyanne debuted years later. In The early 1990s Porsche sales were very low, the go-go 1980s were behind and the world was in a recession. That means that there were very few of these cars sold, offering a unique opportunity for vintage Porsche ownership. The 968 was the evolution of the 944S with 80 percent new or updated parts. The body is a nice combination of those older 924 and 944 models with a hint of what was to come in the next 91 called 993. The engine is a large 3.0L 4-cylinder with the transmission placed at the rear of the car for better balance. This example has been beautifully maintained from new by Porsche and the last owner has updated many parts to make it cosmetically perfect. Included is the new Porsche Classic radio with Bluetooth, streaming audio and even navigation.
    My thanks to Cor Motorcars for lending me this car. See this car and other sports cars at www.corcars.com

    944/968 design had a classic sports car proportion. Perfect design and still looks good.

    These might be collectible in the future. There aren't many of them which is always a good indicator. The prices will rise. Maybe not to air cooled insanity level but they WILL rise. It's a timeless, beautiful car for sure.

    I am thinking of buying the PCCM for my 968. It looks good in the 968 you showed. I wonder where you installed the media box for the iPhone. Would love to use Carplay but don’t see a practical spot where to put the media box of the PCCM. Would want to avoid the glove compartment since my iPhone would not be reachable when connected. Any recommendation is welcome

      Any overflow may indeed be welcoming. I’m excited to see if numbers increase. What are the odds of you,, who typically reviews new cars, puts out a 1992 Porsche 968 video on the same day! Most people don’t even know this odd looking model. Amazing coincidence.... or planing. Either way... Good luck!

      @kellingtonlink956 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree with what you are saying, but out of Mr.Demuro’s 3.56 Million subs they can’t all be kids (or majority). Besides ... these ‘kids’ might be watching his latest Ferrari/McLaren video, but not too many people...’kids’ are interested in his vintage/older car reviews. Most 14 year olds don’t watch 2012 Hyundai Equus videos (1.58 Million!) or Mercedes-Benz R-Class videos (2.03 Million!). I doubt most of them are youths (under 18/kids). Some are... but most are not. .

    The 968 is a stunning classic. Only few person knews thats the model is or would soon 30 years old. And the short production-time from 1991 till 1995 do the rest. Its a exotic and a most underrated Porsche.

    I'm a little behind on watching this video and I recently purchased a 1994 968 coupe in guards red and have absolutely LOVED it. I own 2-911s and can't believe how much I have enjoyed the 968. Also, what camera are you using here? Super small!

      Same here. I own a 3.2 Carerra but got a 1992 968 about three years ago. It's alot of fun to drive and in some ways, easier to drive than the 911. Enjoy them both.

    I don't know. The styling seems to have no character or focus at all. Probably a nice car, but I would have been much more tempted by an Audi TT.
