Its been 16 years since I last went to Padstow x it all looks exactly the same though. Lovely video thank you x I always loved doing the cycle path from Padstow to Bodmin moor there was a nice pub there and then cycle back nice way to spend a Sunday
Beautiful video, Beautiful Padstow, I was there last year for my annual holiday, fantastic cycle ride the Camel trail..
Padstow is lovely isn’t it. I’ve done the camel trail by bike but never filmed it. Maybe this year I will
Brilliant! Wish we could turn the clock back 35 years and see which shops were there then .... Like the book shop! Or fossil shop..
I would be good to find an old video of the town from 35 years ago and recreate it now for comparison side by side
The animal shop was a newsagents. On duke street by the steep steps opposite the corner shop where there’s now a gallery was a fishmonger, where salt rock is now was a hardware shop and a bit further down where there’s a little arcade type building was a bakers, estate agents and haberdashery type shop.
Nice video not been to Padstow for a few years. Weather was fantastic, yesterday was my birthday had a nice walk at long rock and then back in Hayle. Thanks for sharing your Sunday with us.👍
Happy birthday 🎂 👍
Home sweet home.. . Great drone footage.
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
My late uncle was a blacksmith in Padstow and made all the gates up to Monument hill. I truly love Padstow and long to live there. It’s changed since the 1980s where it was a properly busy fishing town and when the tide went out the quay emptied leaving the fishing boats resting in the mud. Too many “trendy shops”. But that’s what they call progress I guess.
Yes Dan I completely agree. Sadly everywhere in Cornwall is going that way. Thanks for watching. Feel free to subscribe for more Cornwall videos 👍
The Doom Bar is at the entrance of The Camel estuary
Great videos mate

Man that scenery at 2:10 is stunning.
Thank you Dean
Thanks for the video Shaun. I've never been to Padstow. Would you recommend it to retirees at all?
Glad you enjoyed the video Steve. Yes I would absolutely recommend Padstow to retirees as it’s fairly easy to get around and parking is great and a short stroll into the town.
Awesome video! I hope the giant seagull at 5:46 left that biker alone 😉🙃.
That seagull wasn’t afraid of anyone 😆
Great video 👍🦊
Thanks Jon
