We’ve done all your coastal walk in the last 18 months in one shape or another and have many comments all good 👌👍thank you for all your videos we’ve watched them many times 😉this walk is on are to do list 😁thanks
Awww In reply to a comment you made I don’t have to be bored to watch your channel I find your walks very interesting and mesmerising I simply love the scenery such a beautiful part of the country,
You've got me humming 'Under the Boardwalk' by the Drifters now!!! And your doggy is centre stage again you two!! That face waiting for a sandwich( and I don't mean Andrew's!! :-))Beautiful walk & the blossom was lovely...Cornwall always gets the flowers earlier....we only just about have our blossom tree out now! Hope you are both safe and sound. Take care x J x
We were in Padstow the week before you and were looking forward to going back for Hobby Oss day but had to cancel due to the lockdown, maybe next year. I enjoyed your film as I have not done the Petherick walk and it was good to watch when it has been not easy to get out. As far as I know the windows and other features of the Abbey House were collected from various old derelict houses around Cornwall and incorporated into it. Great film, thanks, cheers.
Fab fab fab! Just what we needed to cheer us, but so sad to see the businesses closed. Thankfully Andrew managed to get his piece of cake! The views were stunning and well worth the effort - we love those type of rewarding walks. Another superb edit, of course - thank you for bringing smiles to our faces!
Lovely walk to Padstow. Really beautiful and I enjoyed it a lot. Loved the little doggy gate in the stile. I haven't seen one of those before. Thanks and keep safe.
Those cows are some of your new followers. LOL. Looked like a great day for this long walk. Some really beautiful sights to see along the way to. Stay safe and hope we are all back at it soon.
Lovely! I’ve just signed up ( belatedly!😄) to the #1,000 miles walk challenge ( from a comatose position) and searching for interesting videos and found yours. Really enjoyed it,thank you. Have subscribed. That’s one very happy dog!🥰
You’re videos are beautiful. Here in The Netherlands we try to walk like you, but we don’t have you’re beautiful vieuws. We stay since 1993 a whole week in Bude every year. This year, due to the Corona virus we stay home! Hope to visit bude next year again!
This was aa very interesting walk together with some beautiful scenery once again. Parts of Padstow I have never seen before and I have never been to Little Petherick but one to consider in better times. Your cheerfulness is a tonic and I do love the banter between you both. Love the doggies expression when you sit and eat, he is such a cutie. Stay safe and lets hope that it wont be too long before you will be out and about once more bringing Beautiful Cornwall back into our lives.
hope to make this walk next year, as we could not come this year, because of corona. I enjoy seeing your films and look so much forward coming again to cornwall from Germany. Your channel shortens the time, because it is very interesting and you both are very sympatic
Hello dear sarah and andrew thank you so much for your wonderful videos .we love your videos we went to some places you've filmed and we love cornwall so very much so sorry we maybe cannot come over this year in corona times.stay save and healthy .love erika &uwe
You will surpass yourself the hike is great with the beautiful views of Padstow and the river Camel. thank you for the beautiful video. Stay healthy Greetings Günter
Lovely walk and not a cloud in the sky. I moved across the country to the mountains of western North Carolina about a month ago and haven't been able to hike much because so much has been closed down. I'll only be here a year or so and may not get to enjoy it all that much, but so thankful we are healthy. Stay safe guys.
Great walk in this lovely area :-) I also enjoyed all the sounds of water and birds. The views are stunning. There are so many fantastic paths in the UK. I am looking forward to visiting again when the times get more normal :-) Thank you, Torunn.
Judging by last week (Jul 21st), the crowds are back in Padstow, en masse. All the shops are working really hard on compliance with the latest directives - the crowds not so. It was a fun day out though, but I would have seen more if I had watched your walk first! Lesson learned! Thanks again.
That's funny! Yes we have noticed the instant increase in visitors, literally happened overnight - back to local roads to avoid the traffic jams! Sarah :)
Today, 28th April, just discovered your channel ! whilst you were filming this, we were walking around The Rumps/Pentire Head on the same day, also a Country Walking route( we've had the mag' since first printed ) Looking forward to reviewing your back editions, they're great viewing even if we live just over the border ! Well done, really interesting to watch.
All around my stomping ground. The former Southern region line, had a branch from Wadebridge that went to Bodmin North. It was the names that fascinated me. Where else could there be somewhere called Grogely Halt. Opened for anglers. We can't make it up! A link line, from Boscarne junction to Bodmin General, the Western region, travelled past the bottom of my mum & dad's garden. The last section to be kept open.
Another stunning walk in a beautiful area - amazing estuary views, and the flowering gorse and blackthorn (not hawthorn!) looking lovely - many thanks.
I have ventured along the Saints Way 3 times (I'm crazy, I know!) as my GreatGrandfather was born in Luxulyan, where he lived until emigrating to the US. Cornwall is my "home"-at least to my soul. I love it there. Can't wait for life to get normal enough to be able to visit again.
Hello Sarah and Andrew! Hope you are all well !! Thank you for being such a ray of sunshine, it means more than you know! Another beautiful glimpse into Heaven on Earth😊Fur boy is to precious, he really wanted a piece of that cake , which looked amazing lol , that walk looks fantastic , minus the mud 😂Stay healthy and sending lots of happiness, Lori
Hi Lori, A wonderful walk and our little fur boy enjoyed it too, he actually had a sausage roll all by himself, we felt he needed a bit of energy for the return trip! Sarah :)
Hi guys. You mentioned Abbey House. There used to be an old lady who lived there all dressed in black...she would throw buckets of water over the tourists...she would stand in the open alcove above the door.....this was back in the 1960´s.
Awesome scenery, wish I would have done more exploring while I was there at this time last year. Must have been too busy enjoying the view from the terrace at the Golden Lion whilst drinking the local beer. And what is the story with the hat? Detroit Tigers fan? Cheers from Michigan, Doug
@@CornishWalkingTrails Or three, or four....... Hope you can get back to walking soon! Is your husband a Tigers fan? (old English D on his hat), cheers, Doug
@@Thursdaym2 The view from the Golden Lion, the harbour and the houses. Spent all day there watching the tide go out- then come back in. This required 7 beers. See you there next summer.....

The flowers on the hawthorne have faded now and we are seeing the trees opening their new leaves - all fresh lime greens! Sarah :)

Abbey house - that makes sense! It is a weird higgledy-piggledy mix of styles, Sarah :)
Lovely. Loved it. Love it when you interact with the things around you. Thank you much.
Glad you enjoyed it! Sarah :)

Awesome! Thank you! Sarah :)
Hope to there after 21June for 3weeks, fingers crossed! Thanks for keeping us " elderly parents" entertained over the last 12 months.
Wonderful! Just the tonic. Little Petherick looks like a great parking option for a visit to Padstow in busier times.
Maybe - quite a walk though! Sarah :)
No not a great parking area at all.
Awesome video,so interesting to watch, just amazing stay safe and carry on with your walking trails
Thanks Sarah :)
Lovely walk to Padstow. Really beautiful and I enjoyed it a lot. Loved the little doggy gate in the stile. I haven't seen one of those before. Thanks and keep safe.
Our dog has not seen a stile like that for a while, hence his confusion! Sarah :)

Great informative walk as usual, will try later in the year hopefully
Have fun - hopefully! Sarah :)
Lol the way that calf look at the dog.
Eyeing each other up! Sarah :)
So relaxing. So good for escaping the pandemic, the isolation, and, just for a short while, to dream.
I know exactly what you mean! We wish we had the freedom to choose where we can go for a walk! Sarah :)

Sorry folks. It's not six miles from Little Petherick along Camel Trail to Padstow. Only five miles from Wadebridge. About 1.1/2. miles
