(Upgrade) Center Console and Glove Box to LED [Quick Guide]

- Welcome back everyone! Today I will show you how to upgrade center console and glove box to LED on a 2019 Honda Pilot. Hardest part was removing the glove box trim to access the light bulb. I upgraded the lights to have a more clear and brighter sight.

I just purchased a 2024 Rdigeline Black Edition and it really irritates me that I have to upgrade these cheap dim incandescent bulbs in a vehicle with $48k MSRP. These manufacturers are so damn greedy these days, cutting cost in the most ridiculous ways imaginable. Even worse, they don't even make them easy to replace.

I like those brighter LED. Which brand or what pertinent info about the “bulbs” do you have on them? Just found your channel and I won’t lie man I was mad loving some of the stuff I glimpsed in your video here. About to check out the rest. Do you have a custom console or dash, or have you already covered that topic maybe and I haven’t gotten to it yet?

Hey. I have ordered the same lights that you installed. These lights gives very bad odor. Is there any other recommendations?

@@AutoSensation I think the bad smell comes from bulb, beside the plastic cover becomes very hot. My friend, any suggestion for led head lights low and high for my honda pilot 2016 AWD EX-L model. Thanks alot

How to turn off the light?
I can't get my center console bulb out even with pliers. Any other advice?
Use a thick rubber band on the bulb with needle nose pliers. Then gently wiggle it out. The rubber band will get you more grip.
I like the way you described replacing the Glove Box and the Center Console light. 👍👍 Maybe you can help me out in that I can't find a comparable video as to do what you did but on my 2008 Ridgeline. Thanks in advance.

Yes. If the bulb size is the same.

Same as the parking lights. The switch on the left of the steering wheel.

Your Title to this video say "Glove Box" & "Center Console"? So why didn't you show the "Center Console"? That's the one I needed. Edit the title to inform viewers this is only the Glove Box LED install.
