With discounts and trade in, I got the upgraded 512gb version ($1200) for less than $500. So price was definitely not a factor. Loving the phone so far. Motorola Razr might have better aesthetics and a bigger cover screen, but I'd rather have the better build quality and peace of mind of the Samsung any day.
Moto wasnt even an option in my country.. That being said, I've never bought a brand new phone (Always bought 2 gens behind, so bought an s8 just after s10 launch) until last week. Insane deal popped up, flip 6 + watch 7 for 540 bucks, no trade-ins what so ever. And I almost bought a used flip 5 2 weeks earlier but backed out due to it having a defect on the screen... Luckily unlucky haha I don't really think its fair to stand firm on the 1100$ price tag when nobody is actually paying anywhere near that price, IMO.
@@Elvewizzy. Outside the US, the deals are not anywhere as good; in fact, they are rather lame. I get in the US, where Samsung is at war and trying to destroy rivals with deals (RIP LG) that it is different, but the US is just one country, and consumers there seem to think what they get applies to the rest of the world.

Motorola do not update their phones like Samsung, iPhones, or google. They are way behind on updating the software and monthly security updates. Samsung is worth the extra $100 by far.
Do you think the lcd or screen will have a problem or not? Because the z flip that is below 6 on average has problems on the screen and to replace the screen is quite expensive as well as the price of a new cellphone
I paid 399 after my trade in ❤I can tell the camera is better and the battery life helps me gets an extra 3 hrs phone use, the only thing I dont like is that it doesnt support warp speed 5g from my cellphone provider 😅😅😅 like my flip 5
I am a huge fan of Samsung brands so I I don't buy any other brands. Right now using Samsung ultra s23 which I pre book and bought last year. But now thinking 🤔 to buy Samsung Galaxy zflip 6. I hope I will not regret it 😊

You'll use the front top half of your tongue instead of the rear sides. I hope you weren't teased like i was. Take care good video.
I would be embarrassed to use that with a native speaker in a foreign country. But they may just be me. I would rather respect them and learn a few phrases and maybe carry a book with relevant translations and try and respect the language.
Also speaking of price why do reviewers complain about the sticker price when nobody pays sticker price anymore besides it has more RAM or more internal storage but beyond that I jsut upgraded to the Flip 6 with Trade in and I'm paying $8/month for it.
Got it from €1200 down to €450 after trade-in (+€100 bonus), retailer membership discount €200, phone provider €300 discount w/ plan renewal. Not bad at all
And trade in is also more expensive this time. Last year, I traded my Flip 4 for the 5 and paid only $50. This year, a trade in will still leave you paying $500
Same in Canada you can trade iPhone or Samsung and they basically are giving this away as well as a deep discount on there ultra watch must be nice to have a Sammy phone these days ❤
Considering that Galaxy Z phones are the only available foldable/flippable phones in my region AND, even with the increased price, Flip6 ($1100) being cheaper than a regular iPhone 15 ($800) in my region due to crazy amount of taxes my government decides to ask for from Apple, Flip6 is what I'm buying without hesitation 🤣
motorola might be cheaper but samsung has better discounts. i can get the flip 6 for $350 outright with trade in of my flip 5 and this is for the 512gb version. motorola seems to only have 256 max.
The s24u is a very large and heavy phone, not to everyone’s taste. A lot of people don’t like iPhones(iOS) due to the “limitations” and the fold is also larger, heavier and significantly more expensive.
I don't get why everyone is making such a big deal about the extra 100... If you are already thinking about paying 1000, you won't mind paying the extra 100 for updated tech ...
Overpriced. I got the RAZR 2024, the base one, and saved me a fortune whilst getting an awesome flip. Nice to have choices 💯Great review Patrick! Suggestion: Why don't you folks do a comparison between the base RAZR 2024 and this one? Is the Flip 6 really worth $400 more than it? I doubt that seriously.
@@ljacobs357 That's great if you have a trade in...I have kids so it's hand me down central around here, lol. Oh and, trade ins also work for Motorola, saving you MUCH more than $400 over the Flip 6 if you can go that route. All a matter of perspective 🙂
The Motorola is cheaper because the user experience sucks. It's just not the same. There's a saying you get what you pay for. And it seems like a good phone until you get it and realize the user experience is not all what you thought it would crack up to be. I got a Motorola phone on purpose to see how the experience was until they came out with the fold. Now the Fold Price is outrageous so I'm getting the flip instead. I can't wait to get back to a UI O/S.
They need to make it bihher like the ultra and same design except louder selfie actual flash on cover screen and more led showing on the cover screen but still try a hint of that design Where's the comparison

Lol no one is gonna be embarrassed by language translate. That's such an odd way of thinking, if anyone should be embarrassed its the person traveling who can't speak the native language shoving a phone in some busy employees face just to order a coffee instead of just typing the sentence you want to say and attempting to speak to them
Yeah, I could never have the front to expect people to waste their time as I translate through a phone. I would try to learn a few phrases of the local language and would download a phrase book so I could order coffee and say please and thanks.
