I started listening to Hawaiian music through Playing for Change shortly after my second cancer diagnosis . This beautiful peaceful and yet strong music has helped me deal with the days when life gets rocky . It helps bring me back to a peaceful place and allows me to continue on and enjoy life . You don't need outrageous makeup, costumes, or confetti launchers to make wonderful music. I really want to perform this song in Japan or Hawaii for introducing it and showing respect to Queen Liliuokalani, all Hawaiian people and Weldon 3 guys band with my vocal and playing the bass guitar. So I have been looking for the guitarists who can play with me for a long time but I haven't yet... Unfortunately, this song doesn't well-known in Japan and most people in Japan are not interested in Hawaiian history even though they prefer Hawaiian style or Hawaiian taste. so sad.. but no matter what it takes, I definitely will perform this song in the future!
