So, as my name is Trevor, I thought that somewhat appropriate. I just finished watching the banter between you and David. Then I opened this video. and there is the difference. Your smiley faces and jaunty style of presentation. Like waking up to a really nice sunrise.
Until I bought my of NB last year I have been hiring for 15 years and found Trevor as the pritiest and best alround boat hiring centre thanks for the lovely memory
Always guaranteed to find a cafe...a tea room...and a pub....when you do a through the hedge.....you certainly know how to live......I think Kath was more enthusiastic about walking the aquaduct than Anna....now how did I know that.
You girls find some of the most beautiful places to do your Through the Hedge episodes. I love the old historical places that still amaze even today. So much history in those little areas.
Wow Kath, you've got so good at the navigating - all those boats so close together! Yes, we visited Trevor basin on the bus from Llangollen before walking back. The aquaduct path was rather icy and i was clinging on to the railing like Anna would have been!
“Kind of a fact I wish I didn’t know...” 🤣🤣🤣 Cracked us up! Great vlog, Anglo Welsh is an awesome hire boat company - if it weren’t for them, we probably wouldn’t be living on a boat right now... 😉
Something about the aqueduct piers being hollow and tapering to the top to be kept light, brings to mind that if you ever fly commercial remember that to keep airliners light they are hollow and taper toward the front.
A REALLY BIG THANK YOU!!! We had hired a narrowboat at Wrenbury and had planned Llangollen and perhaps Ellesmere port. Your videos showed much of the "LL" than others and helped us know we'd made THE RIGHT CHOICE...for scenery.
The Llangollen Canal was designed and built as a navigable feeder for Hurleston Reservoir, which in turn gives Nantwich and the surrounding area its drinking water.
Great reversing by Kath 😁 very interesting with lots of facts and my legs tingled again when you were on the aqueduct! Thanks as always for an excellent video.
We always take them out the first time we are at a place. We also don't leave them out when we aren't home or if we are worried about the area. they are food trained so they always come back- so far.
Ive started back from vlog #1 and now i get notes of new vlogs.. i also read comments given.. stuck in usa. So your vlog is a great escape on many positive levels...best wishes ..ur doing great ladies
Good morning Ladies...afternoon.. That is a beautiful area....that is my pick for a visit for sure....not sure my heart is up for a walk over the aquaduct..let alone in a boat...scary!!! The weather looks nice for your trip....the weather has improved here too....forcasting 24°c today.....I am sore from working on the van yesterday...cut out an outlet box and ran 110 wire for the galley plug outlets. Simple stuff today.... Enjoy the ride....see ya next week... Chin rubs for the kitties...
Excellent "through the hedge", really enjoyed that...a bit of everything, beautiful scenery, some local history, and your smiley faces 🙂 ...I liked the board that had the aquaduct name spelled like you pronounce it...still can't say it 😁
I wish I had you two as my history teachers way back when, heck, I wish I had you two teaching me anything for that matter. Well done vixens, lovely little nose in to Trevor basin. Hope all is well, and your enjoying this March sunshine xx
I new Wales had given daily to them foreign lot, surplus water! Recon this winter you did well, being in wales, recon this year to find, hidey-hole where you can nessel for a couple of weeks undetected Cheers.
Highly recommended the Anglo Welsh boat hire company... Few weeks ago we had there boat named Butterfly and was fantastic! Will certainly use Anglo Welsh again in the future.
Thank you girls for your wonderfully informative videos. I was searching for places of interest, for when we take our caravan to North Wales in June, when I came across your channel. I have become hooked and have been binge watching your videos from the start. Starting to wish we had a boat instead of a caravan now lol.
Glad you found it helpful. Hiring in Spring and Autumn is my best advice. The hire company there said there is sometimes a wait of up to and over 3 hours to cross the Ponte.
Great video as usual I have just bought a couple of good Narrowboat themed website addresses lol Well as no one knows they exist I thought I may as well buy them as you do
Longer videos, please, or another one or two to meet your 10-12 minute weekly quota of material. You're falling a bit behind, you know. You could just video yourselves having tea, and that would be quite fine. Thanks.
@@TheNarrowboatExperience Of course we do, and we appreciate your efforts, so just video yourselves chatting over tea to fill it out, and shazam! Everyone is delighted!
Ladies - I have said this before . When in Wales if the word starts with the letters LL "its Klan" Surely you can master this... you can navigate 20 plus tons of steel boat with ease, operate the locks like experts and know an awful lot about the rules and ways of canal boating

Yes, I hear that from many people.
Thanks Ladies, I love going Through the Hedge.
This was wonderful to visit with you here, just beautiful. I could stay for weeks enjoying the greenery!
Always guaranteed to find a cafe...a tea room...and a pub....when you do a through the hedge.....you certainly know how to live......I think Kath was more enthusiastic about walking the aquaduct than Anna....now how did I know that.
Spot on.

I love the "Through the Hedge" segments. Great job as always ladies!!!
Wow Kath, you've got so good at the navigating - all those boats so close together! Yes, we visited Trevor basin on the bus from Llangollen before walking back. The aquaduct path was rather icy and i was clinging on to the railing like Anna would have been!
It's not pleasant in the ice or wind, so well done you.
The bit at the end really made me laugh! You’re both so natural. Thank you for another great through the hedge! xx
Yes, I love leaving little bits at the end. Kath is quite unintentionally funny.
I am so pleased you liked it there, we go as often as possible.
“Kind of a fact I wish I didn’t know...” 🤣🤣🤣 Cracked us up! Great vlog, Anglo Welsh is an awesome hire boat company - if it weren’t for them, we probably wouldn’t be living on a boat right now... 😉
Yes, exactly those kind of facts I do not need to know. Really found Anglo Welsh to be a helpful bunch.
Something about the aqueduct piers being hollow and tapering to the top to be kept light, brings to mind that if you ever fly commercial remember that to keep airliners light they are hollow and taper toward the front.
Good point.
Once again you’ve inspired us to try and get back to Trevor on our boat👍
Excellent, wish we could have coordinated it together.
That was a very enjoyable and interesting look around the basin and aqueduct. Thanks
You're welcome, thanks.
A REALLY BIG THANK YOU!!! We had hired a narrowboat at Wrenbury and had planned Llangollen and perhaps Ellesmere port. Your videos showed much of the "LL" than others and helped us know we'd made THE RIGHT CHOICE...for scenery.
You’re very welcome x
Very skilled manoeuvring, well done ladies another great video.
Love following your travels keep up the good work.

Thanks for the walk around!!

Hi Ladies. Loved the thru the hedge. Visited Trevor once and parked in that very car park. Thanks XX
Trevor Basin looks like a lovely place to visit. Thank you for showing us around. I loved the end - you both make me laugh x
It was really lovely, also handy place to paint the boat as no boats going past us.
Great reversing by Kath 😁 very interesting with lots of facts and my legs tingled again when you were on the aqueduct! Thanks as always for an excellent video.
Thanks, it was great to walk over it also- it's the same speed as the boat but different too.
Thanks so much! My wife and I are coming from America to hire a boat at Trevor in May - your videos have helped us a bunch!
So glad to be of help. Anglo Welsh at Trevor seem really helpful too.
Very pretty area thanks ladies
Love your vlogs - amazed by your cats - dont you get scared they wont come back? Llangollen a must visit now!
We always take them out the first time we are at a place. We also don't leave them out when we aren't home or if we are worried about the area. they are food trained so they always come back- so far.
Diolch! Really enjoyed your vlog and demonstration of reversing into a mooring.
Thanks.

Ooh, we might try and moor there when we go up the Llangollen next month, although there doesn’t seem to be much space! Thanks for the vlog
Definitely send a 'spotter' down first. Remember you can't moor near Jones the boats on the left hand side.
Thanks and Best Wishes!!!!
That drinking water joke was funny.
Thank you
"A van", eh? Hmm
Or live in your van 🤭😉
From Mr Vandemonium himself!

Lovely video as always.
Needed a photo of the burger. :)
Love this channel
Oh look, my other favourite channel has commented below me, Hi CTC
Thank you girls for your wonderfully informative videos. I was searching for places of interest, for when we take our caravan to North Wales in June, when I came across your channel. I have become hooked and have been binge watching your videos from the start. Starting to wish we had a boat instead of a caravan now lol.
So glad to have you onboard.
Plenty of canals here in Belgium supplying drinking water, of course it's treated first ;-)
Good point.
Fun, fun, fun!!! Anna your love of burgers is becoming very apparent, I thought you were eating less meat???
Yes, my secret is out.
It scares the crap out of me.
Good morning! 😊😊👍
i wondered when you were going through the hedge but obviously, to outsiders you, the cats and, the boat are through the hedge already ;-)
Good point
so my Mom. must have liked it years ago and named he son TREVOR
Must be it
Note to self: stick to beer in South Cheshire; do not drink the water.
Thanks! We plan to hire a boat next year and depend upon your experience for advice.👍✌️😊🙏🏼
