@Yoga & Meditation mit Raymond Rittiner I'm so glad you found it helpful. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. It's nice to see you again. I hope all is well!😊
I found your breathing techniques very helpful and rewarding. From playing the 🎺 I have been using high pressure breathing. Your techniques have given me a lot of relaxation in breathing. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the knowledge and breathing exercises. My health has effected my breathing through inflammation and blood pressure. One of the keys is getting control of your blood sugar. I wish I would had understood insulin and glucose when I was young but never to late. Breathing through your nose is another key to optimal health. Thanks again for all the breathing exercises!
@Dennis Ray thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment. I appreciate hearing a bit about your journey. Yes, this struggle with insulin resistance and elevated blood glucose is devastating our human health, and still not enough people take it seriously...or maybe they still lack education around the topic. I hope that you are finding effective ways of getting your blood sugar under control. What has been most effective for you? Diet? Intermittent fasting? Something else? And I'm so happy to hear that nasal breathing has powerfully shifted your health. Stay well! And please feel free to share any time. 😉
@@BELightTT yes fasting was a big changer for me getting my health back, I started in May of 2021 to present, pretty amazing change in a short period of time. 270 to 213 but i dont really pay attention to the weight more about being healthy to enjoy life and getting rid of the junk that takes away your energy. Great channel! Thanks for being supportive!
@@dennisray6093 Oh, wow! You just started this journey pretty recently! Good for you, Dennis. I'm glad to see you having good and consistent improvements. That's so great. And most importantly, that you're feeling better! Really happy for you. Keep up the great work!😊
I have studied Yoga, TM (Transcendental Meditation), ESP from the founders of the Stanford Research Institute, Brahma Kumaris meditation and they all say to breath relaxingly but are not specific on how to do it. Tara teaches scientifically how to do it successfully.
Trying to do more rapid breathing to a reduced count. However, at night I like the very slow exhale count. Do not know if there are any health benefits to that. I like slow imagining a wind because it is conducive to sleep- which I have a hard time falling asleep. Then breathing in morning till snooze goes off. Both a practical time to practice. As well as while driving. Thanks.
Of course @jokich there are health benefits to that. In fact, slow breathing with an extended exhale is ideal for down-regulating the nervous system and bringing the body into a state of rest and recovery. This is the perfect choice before sleep. I'm sure you've heard me mention this several times in my videos 😉. Great choice. Keep up the exploration!
Hi Tara, I am a singer who has been facing from LPR for years. My throat produces more mucus all the time to counteract this , which will peak sometime after a meal. So I am not able to sing well or even practice. I feel so much strain while singing. Could you please suggest the right breathing technique to improve this condition? Thanks in advance.
Hi, @Pramod kumar Mahadevan thank you so much for watching and for your question. The fact is, this is such a COMPLEX topic, which, as you know, does not have a singular solution. I imagine since you've had LPR for years, you've probably tried a number of things already. But just in case, here are a few ideas off the top of my head: 1. Often reflux is actually a sign of too LITTLE acid, as opposed to too much acid. My friend is a nutritionist and gut health expert, and she has shared this video with me that demonstrates a quick test for stomach acid. It is NOT 100% accurate, but it might give you some information. Here is a link to her quick video: th-cam.com/video/7QPcUsTWNog/w-d-xo.html 2. Often times visceral disruption or dysfunction has a structural cause. Meaning your diaphragm might be too tense or it might be too weak. You might have a nerve impingement somewhere in the cervical or upper thoracic spine that is affecting the motility of food as it goes through your esophagus, or your ability to break down and assimilate your food. 3. If you do have low stomach acid, you would need to investigate why. What is going on with your liver and your gallbladder? 4. I would highly recommend seeing an osteopath or manual therapist who specializes in diaphragmatic movement and/or visceral manipulation, to see if that helps to mitigate your symptoms. 5. And then in terms of breathing, 2 things come to mind. 1. Your diaphragm might need strengthening. In which case, something like uddiyana bandha might help. Are you familiar with it? And then 2. Slow, deep, diaphragmatic breathing that fully activates your diaphragm without causing stress. You want to work to down-regulate your nervous system as much as possible. I am so sorry you are experiencing this. I know it must be very frustrating. Bottom line, you really need to work with a knowledgeable practitioner in person who can guide and advise you, in order to get the best results. I hope this is somewhat helpful for you. I apologize for not being able to offer a more precise answer, but as I said earlier, there is no ONE answer. Be well, Pramod, and have a great day.
@@BELightTT I must say you are a wonderful person and you deserve more subs. You took my concern very seriously and gave me the possible suggestions I can do. I didn' t get any proper treatment yet as doctors tried to give proton pump inhibitors without proper diagnosis. I am looking forward to find a good therapist considering your valuable suggestions. Thank you so much. Expecting many more useful contents from your channel..
@@pramodkumarmahadevan2239 Yes, unfortunately, this is the modern medical mindset. Treat the symptoms with pharmaceuticals instead of getting to the root cause of the symptoms. It is very tiring and causes people to experience a lot of negative side effects. I am sorry you have not yet found the treatment that you require, but I hope you will be inspired to continue looking. You need to be able to sing again and share your voice with the world. I wish you well and so much luck on your search. Thank you for your kind words. Have a good night.
From my experiences in music, singing & trumpet playing, diet & posture has helped me. Milk products create mucus; so, switching to vegan diet has helped. No food 4 - 6 hours before sleeping in bed. While in bed, position yourself on your left side. Change to back or right side after a couple of hours sleep.
