I've been a calligrapher for almost twenty years, and I've seen a lot of cool stuff, but I've _NEVER_ seen anyone do actual calligraphy (not lettering) like this with a ballpoint pen. It must have taken you ages to achieve that level of control to get such precise line thicknesses - it's amazing! I'm impressed. 👏
It's more about the paper ;) Laid paper and you don't need years ;)

Thanks for the tip! 👍🏻 I still prefer my nibs and fancy inks, but it's fun to impress friends and coworkers when all I have is a ballpoint pen and some office-grade paper. 😎
@@hosseinenayati3318 That would depend on which type of letters (or fonts) interest you the most. I would start by choosing a font-like blackletter for example-and trying that. Although I can't read or speak Arabic, I tried learning some Arabic calligraphy by copying phrases from a Qur'an printed in Arabic and English. With some practice I got pretty good at writing the Arabic phrases simply by copying them. Therefore, my best advice to you would be to do the same; copy some English words from a book, magazine, or some text online. I would start by learning to write each letter of the alphabet, but copying text is a great idea in my opinion. Also, since you have access to TH-cam, there are many videos like this one which will show you techniques. It is hard, but try to copy what you see other people doing, and eventually you will learn!

Calligraphy Masters super satisfied.... What type of paper did you use?
I bought a dip pen from a swap meet for 25 cents. The nib is rusty and the holder is cracked, but its was 25 cents. I am determined to make it work or break it, smash it to bits in a vice.I would like to kill the man that sold me this pen

Level of control and accuracy shown here is off the chart. I don't think I have ever seen such control to be able to produce varying line width with such consistency using a ballpoint pen.
Text in Brazilian Portuguese:

I think it's part of a longer poem or romantic text because these two lines don't make so much sense by themselves.

My 3 most favorite are:
1). Minimum (At first, I thought you were just practicing strokes. I didn’t recognize the word until you dotted the i’s. That’s lit!).
2). Serendipity (I like what the loopy r and the “open” p lend to the beauty of the written word).
3). Mesmerizing (I like that first m, the loopy r, the sleek z and the “open” p. This combination of letters contributed to a good-looking, written word).

Seriously, the amount of pleasure I got from watching this is insane! OMG! I have this obsession with pens...always have. I need to learn how to write like this with them now! LOL

Bic cristal is quite amazing, I also love their pressure sensitivity... I do like the feedback of a fountain pen, but bic pens are the most practical ones and given to some able hands they can create sore really satisfying results. One of my all time favorite pens...

this a great talent and very professional . when i was in high school i loved the writing class , we had english writing book , after i got graduated from university rarely i wrote by hand . most of work done by computer , once i started writing by hand and discovered that i lost a lot of my talent of beautiful handwriting . if you want to keep your talent in handwriting never stop writing .

@@CROBERT01 parece ser desses de algodão e linho do tipo para aquarela, o legal é que é usado uma caneta ponta grossa de 1.6mm algo que eu ainda não testei.
