Am a lefty and my art teacher suggested I do calligraphy because I hated my handwriting.
It really helped a lot.
I taught myself a new way to hold the pen, so I wouldn’t smear the letters and ink everywhere.
Watching this makes me want to start calligraphy again. It was so long ago, but I remember really liking to do it..
please tell me how to not smear the letters! i really struggle with that as a lefty, especially on whiteboards!

I agree with people saying that these calligraphers have nice stationary that's y they r good but it's not only the stationary there is practice and talent too you can't just buy those pens and become a calligrapher respect other people's professions🙂

It’s so satisfying, and that’s the reason people click on these sorts of videos. Because it’s relaxing. It’s all so perfect, and watching people write stuff better than me doesn’t remind me about how bad my handwriting is. I know it isn’t just talent because it could only get you so far. All these people probably practiced a lot, and knowing that makes me feel so much better. :)

Any calligrapher will tell you it’s about the time and effort put into learning! Anyone can learn, but not everyone has the want to try.
Getting better comes from practicing the strokes and letters to make them more consistent

These are beautiful calligraphy examples, and something I'd use if I was to write a book again.
My very talented sister-in-law taught herself to do calligraphy about 40 years ago using a ball point pen---I've never figured out how she does it, not having spent any real time with her, but she does it to perfection.

Well, actually, if you click the title, it brings you to the credits of the artists. From there, you can view info on supplies that they order and prefer. They do provide all of that but it would be a bit lengthy to answer here. There are lots of great supplies. Pilot is one type of pen supplier but there are many.
