The seam allowance for this project is ¼” and ½". Seam allowance is indicated at each step.

Directional fabric is not recommended for Prints B and C, but is optional for Print A. See video for details 04:37.
Faux suede vinyl is recommended for Print B. Other materials such as quilting cotton, cotton linen (55% linen and 45% cotton), 21 wale (21W) cotton corduroy, and other lightweight opaque vinyls (faux leather, etc.) can also be used for Print B. The stability and structure may range.
The Print C Fat Eighth will be for the lining. It will have the same diagonal as the outside. If you would like to use two colours/prints inside instead of one, you will require a Fat Eighth of each print or two pieces measuring at least 8½” × 9½”. You will cut (1) Top Half Template from one print and (1) Bottom Half Template from the other print. You can decide which print to make the remaining zipper tabs.

Thank you:)
Very cute
Thank you Gina ☺️
I am in love with your fabrics! I am pretty new to sewing, where do you get your faux suede? I plan to make with scraps (my first attempt at anything is usually not great!) but once I have it down, would love to find such great fabrics like these! Thanks for the tutorial!
I use an old rotary cutter for paper or the rotary cutter from Dollar Tree
That's a great idea since paper makes them dull so quick!
If you wanted to use directional fabric, you could always cut and see together before you cut on the fold. Your fold would then be on the seam.
Hello! You definitely could add a seam to flip the direction prior to sewing☺️
Very nice 😊
Thank you! :)
Pare-is it possible to use a regular zipper rather then the continues? I have a hard time putting the zipper pull on.
Hello! I apologize for the delay in responding to your comment, but for this project you definitely can use closed-end nylon zippers instead:)
Sew the tabs together not separate
You can definitely sew them together in one step instead of separately, up to you:)
