Love this little bag. I wanted a use for zippers that have been removed or replaced due to a bad spot but where one side or most of the zipper is still in good shape. I am putting this in my list of re-use project ideas. Thanks for this video!
I love how you did the trim and zipper together. I want to make one of these for my iPad. But how big of a rectangle would I have to have for that? It seems this was a huge rectangle and made a small little pouch. Love the idea of using a quilted bedspread or quilt.
I’m actually very lucky that one of my employees, Bonnie, is incredibly good with woodworking AND sewing and built all our tables, even the big cutting table.
Thanks! It was fun to make and believe it or not, the video is actually the first time I ever made one like that. It was fun to do a no-cut video where I did a new project start to finish in such a short window. Glad you liked it!
I never thought about putting a french seam. I have been binding them on the outside. I like how you do the zipper also.
Thanks!
Would you show how to do this using the first pouches you made. I really like the ideal of sewing the zip and trim first. Genius.
Here’s the tutorial for the other pouches: Diagonal Zipper Pouch: LOOKS COMPLICATED BUT IT'S NOT!!!

Yes…give me some math! What size fabric did you start with and what size did it end up?
Look up the hemingway pouch if you need measurements. I need them too.
Thanks!! I love this!!! (You had me at NO MATH!!! 😉)

Love your lessons. Thanks
😲 Brilliant 👍🏻 Like a facing 😁 Great french seam idea💡Thank You 🫶 for Sharing😄
Awesome! I LOVE your square version! Thank you for sharing.
I love how easy this is! Can’t wait to try making a few.
Please do! I hope you enjoy them. Any size triangle with two equal legs and the zipper on the long side should work great!
Happy New Year, Tim! Thank you for all your creative projects.
Hi Tim, off subject slightly I love that you made yourself a table for your sewing machine. You have many talents.

Thank you for a 2nd tutorial. I love it!!! The zipper part was confusing me a bit.
Great for someone who journals with washi tape or stickers
Love the square! 🟦
