Hi Prairie, thanks so much for watching! We are really enjoying having the thin shades on the windows. You can open it with a key, phone app, keypad and....bluetooth proximity detection ! Walk up to your camper, blue light flashes saying " authorized user" push the unlock button and you are in. No sir! I leave it cracked at the bottom. Some folks install the shad upside down and leave it cracked at the top.
Nice job explaining the thin shade install. We will do ours next week. Question: We noticed a gap in the bottom corners of our screen door. Did you do anything to fix it? It seems like the "brushy" seal is too short. Just want to get your thoughts.
You know I haven’t noticed it. I will check it out. We love being able to look outside through our new windows. You will love it. Till the next time, Stan
How do you close or open the shade with the door shut? Won’t the screen door get in the way?
Hi James, unfortunately you can’t. During the day you leave them open. You can’t see in. At night when the lights are off I would leave a half inch crack at the bottom. This will allow you to see outside when you turn on your outside light. This was a great question that I think many will ask. Thank you so much!! However, we feel this is the best solution for us over the opaque windows. Thank you for watching!! Stan and Rhonda
Hi Stan. Good job detailing the install. Your upcoming trip sounds like a lot of fun. Safe travels and God bless. Ken
@@kabzak Ken, thank you!!! It will be a big trip and looking forward to it. Stay safe. Stan

RV Duo, we traveled across the country in severe storms. We have not encountered any leaks at all. Thank you for watching, Stan and Rhonda
