Thank you for showing me how to remove the window, I bought the API unit and was concerned about how to remove it. The oldie but goodie the butter knife. :) Thanks again.
Thanks. It worked for me. Rather than replacing the whole window with a thin shade model. I put 95% tint auto tinting film. This keeps the morning sun from blinding us. Its pebbled glass so no one can see in any way. Without your butter knife tip I would have broken the frame for sure.
Thank you! This was so helpful. I bought the shade and didn't realize that there were special tools that were needed to remove the old window. So mad until I found your video. Followed your video to the T even with the kid's magnatiles. I appreciate the close-up view of how the clips work versus just saying to put the butter knife in the hole. Thanks!
Great tips on the butter knife I was just getting ready to order the $30 "kit" with the keys :). Overall looks good (though you did install the frame on the inside upside down, as you have the "thick" portion you mentioned earlier at the bottom while the shade pulls down from the top )
Thanks. The butter knife tip worked great. Literally took me maybe 5 minutes max to get the trim off. You deserve high reviews for this video.
Wow, thanks so much for your tip!! I got the factory window out with a butter knife and some poker chips! Saved $40 :)

Very helpful video, I am trying to replace my window glass because it shattered and no one has the keys in stock!

I've seen some install that upside down, so you can open it for light, but still have privacy from people outside your rig
This is a good idea. Although it looks like he installed the interior frame upside down instead of the shade. Small over sight though
Yes! Just the video that I needed! Thanks!

Bravo dall Italia 👍
Anyone know if it matters which way the glass is turned. I got the words at the bottom but does it matter which way faces out??
