the stairs is what caught my eyes, never seen that kind of stairs in my life. even though I've traveled to many places and stayed in lots of heritage homes/hotels/stays, I've never seen such comfortable base of stairs. kudos to the artist, I'm 27 right now currently planning to build my home and the stairs will definitely go to my home, the exterior color science is a pleasant sight to behold.
The typical old kerala house❤. Nostalgia. Absolutely beautiful... soothing to the eyes and fills my heart with such warm. The kerala architecture and colors... and oh... the yellow lights at night with all that surrounding greenery and beautiful shade of brown mud. Fabulous.
This is amazing! It's a perfect melt between Dutch and Kerala. Very clean lines induce peace of mind, but it still feels very comfortable. Just perfect!

This is absolutely gorgeous! I am originally from Kalady area, married to a wonderful man from Kozhikode and now living in the US. We too have a beautiful period home in the heart of Kozhikode that has been passed down to my husband and we have renovated it maintaining its original integrity yet with modern amenities. Will look out for this home on my next visit back to Kerala

Not Dutch. The house is exquisite but it does not have anything Dutch in it, saying this as an owner of a 30 year olf Dutch house, living in Netherlands for 3 years. Dutch houses are never spacious because the country has limited land. The houses are always multi storey with the classic Dutch stairs which are congested due to their spiral nature and it is nowhere found in this house. This house has no element of Dutch architecture, the house is beautiful and amazing the way it is.
Maybe the creators are referring to colonial Dutch, the style is bound to change over time plus Indian Dutch and Dutch are bound to be different.

As Sri Lankan and Huge Geoffrey Bawa Fan, I like Kerala architecture.
Is Bawa a 'dutch architecture' proponent? Ideally this house seems designed on the basis of his principles of Ceylon homes with some kerala themes. The only obvious Dutch influences seem to me manifest in the use of glass, eg: the entrance doors and the entrance pergola.

Such a beautiful house, so many lovely elements is charming. I could not see much of the real Dutch architecture ( I live in Belgium, travel to the Netherlands time to time)...but definitely the Kerala inspired Dutch architecture which they built in India when the Dutch were in Kerala.

This is the best colonial design house i have seen....it's resembles to many of my favourite old buildings in my Kozhikode city....old Muslim tharavadu, collector guest house, mayor guest house and in beach we can see this architecture...it's a timeless beauty...i personally like this architecture with naalukett very much....it's give me homely feeling than modern contemporary houses....

Beautiful home, the interiors are airy, spacious, well lighted and have lovely colonial touch with cane and antique furniture. I didn't see any wardrobe in the rooms, did you incorporate a walk in closet with a seperate door to keep it simple? All in all, lovely home, wish you many years of happy living and happy memories.
