13:30 the singlish jumped out 😂 singaporean girl here with so much love for musical theatre and you’re such an inspiration!! wishing you all the best! 🤍
I was pleasantly surprised to have caught her when I watched Les Mis in the West End last Summer! I forgot that she was in it, and boy, did she deliver. The applause she had almost brought the house down! Lol.
Happens a lot with Singaporeans who spend time outside the country, either those growing up in sg needing to code switch to fit in overseas. Or Singaporeans growing up outside having to code switch after coming home in order to fit in
So happy to see also another Southeast Asian conquering the musical theatre world. This time it's Singapore after Philippines' Lea Salonga and Rachel Go's same footsteps
I don't understand why there is a need to ask the audience if they know that she is from Singapore. It makes it seem like surprisingly Singaporeans are just as good as other nationalities. The same question wouldn't be posed to someone who is white or someone who is from the US, Australia, or another Western country.
Walau. I was just rewatching (both the movie an the anniversary) les mis a few days ago. Coming from rich family probably helped. Like these top schools certainly not cheap....
no hate on her, in fact, massive respect for her perseverance, but when she mentioned that money was hard to come by and need to go back singapore.. i want to laugh... cmon.. she is from a rich family..
That’s a huge milestone for a Singaporean. Excited to see her go further in musical career.
SG does not have a big enough stage for U. Be brave to persue your dream. U are really talented be confident. Best wishes from SG.

just caught the show this evening and saw Nathania, she was outstanding... wishing her much success ahead!
Huge congratulations to Nathania! Her Eponine was stunning-can't wait to see where her musical journey takes her!
She's so eloquent! And her voice is amazing!
I'm so fascinated with the code switching honestly
That's NOT code switching that Natty's doing. That's FAKING an accent.
@@jessical7083 it is a form of code switching.
@@jessical7083 Oh calm down.. She's learnt to code switch as she's lived in London for a long time, after a while it becomes a habit.

Lea Salonga walked so other Asian theater actors could run. Thank you Lea Salonga!

I think I saw her play Eliza in Singapore Hamilton performance on 26 May. The original lady who was supposed to play Eliza fell sick.

SG Arts is about $$
Not Arts is about Life.
