Hi Demi, usually how many days before other cards due date should we pay using our DBS card ? Is the due date itself too late ?
Do you need a DBS Credit card to do this? Is UOB Credit Card and OCBC Credit Card Viable to pay off other credit card and then setup HSBC Giro to pay UOB/OCBC Credit Card.

Hi Miss Demi, for HSBC credit card and insurance bill, do you still pay directly from HSBC EGA instead of DBS/POSB CC?
I use DBS CC to pay HSBC CC. Insurance one of it is use a CC another is giro arranged to the savings account .

Hi Demi. By submitting the DBS form to the clerk, do you mean the person at the counter where we get queue number or we have to get our queue number and queue to submit to customer service ?

But not supposed to use cc to pay cc. Dbs might start imposing balance transfer fees once u put it out like that

Thank you. I learnt something new from you today. Qn: Can I earn 1% from HSBC EGA if I set up e-GIRO to pay off HSBC credit card from HSBC EGA itself? (I recall, doing so won't earn me the 1% GIRP rebate; so this workaround is good)
you wont be able to for hsbc to hsbc! use dbs to pay off hsbc then giro from hsbc ega and pay off the dbs card!

From 2 may 2024, payment to any financial institute will be under the exclusion criteria for Giro Bill Payment.

@@DemiZhuang I just tried to open the EGA account and was informed that since I only have the Revolution credit card and no HSBC account - I can only open the EGA account via the physical branch
