    I sold the first 2 4c launch editions in America when they came out (at least that's what they told me at the time).
    This is such a unique car, if I was smaller stature I would definitely buy one even considering the rigorous maintenance schedule and quirks

    Still loving my 4C Launch. I've had a dozen Alfa's (still have my `67 Giulia GT Veloce, not going no where) and the 4C feels like all of Alfa's best hallmarks rolled into an amazing looking machine...except for the belief that Alfa's are unreliable which is hogwash and the 4C has never even so much as hicupped. Been left on the side by BMW's, plenty. Never an Alfa.

    What do you suggest to treat the rubber weather stripping?

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i would quickly clean the rubber first with mineral spirits wipe this will soften the pores and then apply some sort of protectant based product that does not contain fillers or solvents such as a water based silicone dressing.

      when i look at cars it is my duty to show every single imperfection this is why i posted and shared this video, what some might not see I will see but being transparent with cars is very important today and many sellers private or dealers lack. I cant even tell you how many Ferrari i had paid for expensive inspections to later find out the photos the dealer posted were all Photoshopped for all the cosmetic defects the cars had. I do extensive 1 hour videos whenever I sell one of my cars to make the buyers feel comfortable knowing exactly what they are getting.

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You and me both! You be surprised many buyers would not let cosmetics bother them but in todays market of inflated prices the condition does matter as you are making an investment on any specialty low production car. Overall this car was a great car but if I was the potential buyer i would immediately respray the bumper, both rocker panels, replace the rear rim and replace all 4 rotors and lug nuts to make it acceptable to my level but once you factor these costs of labor and parts into the selling price it did not make sense and it was better to pass on the car and find another that did not need all of that.
