    Hi what if your going over a painted external wall do you need to prime that first?

      I’d never advise going over paint , been a paint manufacturer paint isn’t designed for render to stick to it

      No , only if the block are lightweight or thermalites.

      Can you spay machine the base coat and top coat?

    Cost and time and Labour far exceeds traditional rendering and yet to see a better method .

      This is far quicker , only need to add water , to gauging of materials and no need to worry about the quality of them

      @@shaunmoss2901 I’m not convinced Shaun. I add water to my sand and cement so not really much difference. A scratch coat applied , too coat then done. Never failed me in 22 years . If I want to add colour simples, add some colourant. What’s the cost like in comparison ? See loads and loads of buckets in a skip locally on a new kfc . Never seen so much plastic tubs 🙈.

      @@scarboroughriderI think the difference is they’re charging ££££ for these new render systems when sand and cement is hard work for a fraction of the pay, being old school myself i am researching these products because i feel like im missing out ££££ you know what i mean.
