@@youtuberesearch7017 Even if it is slower there's a huge difference between 1gb and at least 4, in this video as you shouldve seen the APU is using a considerably lower amount of ram than the dedicated GPU (probably the test's guy didnt configure it properly), and thats why there is a big difference in performance, not because the integrated gpu is not capable of performing well.
@@yuji8592 pre allocating more RAM into iGPU will give maybe +5 fps. 8700G is not faster than GTX 1650. And GTX 1650 more than 2x slower than RX 6600. System sharing RAM with GPU. IF GPU need more VRAM then system give it. And in the fact iGPU uses even preallocated RAM as VRAm it is still same RAM as system sharing to GPU. ZERO speed difference. And u can in screen settings there is 'total available system memory' Is always half RAM. So even if u set 32 MB RAM to your iGPU then system give like 8GB if GPU will need.
Test 8000 series and rx 6600
You could have in the BIOS dedicated 16GB VRAM to your iGPU. That would've been a great test.
For the comparison to be fair, you would have to increase the vram of the 8700g in the bios.
Man, thanks a lot, great work! That's what I searching for :) Also, it's a pity, that this video have so few views :(
It's nice, but 8700g cost way too much.
If it was like $200 or less then I guess it would be worth it.
this wht ivbn looking nice one thx
No le puso mas ram al procesador por eso da ese resultado

Let the rx6600 with just 1 GB of vram and itll give u 20 fps as well...
that's the difference between integrated and dedicated
@@youtuberesearch7017 Thats not accurate you can have an integrated gpu with 16gbs of vram, you just need to give them to it.
@@yuji8592 yes but integrated using RAM as VRAM which is slower
