I do not like pitbulls. There was a model who had her face disfigured by a pitbull owned by a friend. She was friendly with that pitbull. They can turn!
@@KM-zn3lx That's exactly the problem - they are so unpredictable. So many idiots out there think their "Pitty" will be different because they name it something cute like Daisy or Pip Pip but you can't take away their fighting instincts no matter what stupid name you give them and no matter how "nice" a person you are. The breed should be outlawed and liquidated.
My dad was a dairy farmer, and I can say for sure that if a dog was attacking his cattle, it would have been shot on the spot. I can't believe these people were so callous about the wellbeing of their neighbors.
Yes, you are right of course, we are moving from Dallas area, SOOOO much government corruption here, pay offs from developers, school boards stealing from ISDs, a little power pays big money here, ugh.
My father has raised & bred large dogs my entire life. One thing he has preached to us is that once a dog starts killing, the taste of blood is like a drug. They might start off with chickens & baby goats but their prey drive is only increased with each kill. Pitbulls have a naturally high prey drive & enjoy the chase & slaughter. The white dog is a ticking time bomb. It will kill again & the children in that home are in the most danger! My dad shot and killed more than one dog worth $$$$ when those dogs showed that they had turned. No amount of money is worth the life of a child or any human life. As far as the politics go I’m not surprised. Maybe this family will get lucky & the idiots with psycho dogs will feel “scared” & “persecuted” enough to move to other side of town!
I have put down a viscous dog as well and I’m confident I did the right thing. At the time my toddler grandson was visiting frequently. I also wanted to prevent the dog from getting in the wrong hands or putting another family in danger.
Some animals can't be retrained. I even have a cat family where the brother is sweet and cuddly with me but bites the runt . I have to keep them separated
So true. So many people cant begin to fathom that dogs are NOT humans and on e you fail to comprehend that you are much dumber than any dog and should not have one.😊 not giving considerable weight to the breed of a dog also does a great disservice to the dog. There are reasons you dont see poodles doing police work or greyhounds pulling wagons. You cant train a lot of things out so if you are ignorant or just an idiot dont even get a chiuhahua...maybe a golden retreiver...maybe.
Your dad probably just got lucky that none of those dogs he raised ever killed anybody. Probably could've been a hair away from it happening but he just got lucky. I'm fed up with people raising all these stupid large dogs and pitbulls
@@rhondaharris398 know what breed is # 1 in bites? The poodle.fact #2 is the cocker spaniel. Also interesting to note, about every 10yrs, a particular breed is singled out as viscous. German shepherd, Doberman pincher,Rottweiler, Pittbull.. even the Mix Breed once made the list. Breeding is the single most important factor when choosing a dog. After the release of ' Lady and the Tramp' , Crocker Spaniels became the most sought after breed for more than 2 decades. They were overbred and wrought with disease and personality problems. Thru genetics it was discovered, when breed suffers issues, often "a defect" has entered the bloodline. For example, , Doberman Pinchers were often referred to as having a split personality. Later found to be the result of a genetic mutation of a particular bloodline. There was a time, if you had a 2y.o.Springer Spaniel who turned viscous, it was said to suffer from Rage Syndrome and euthanized. Later it was discovered a famous Westminster Champion (Sire), carried a form of epilepsy. This"Rage Syndrome", a type of seizure, was prevalent in his bloodlines to the 3rd and 4th generations.Once removed, It took another 3generations to restore the breed standards (tho w/57,000 chromosomes it could remain recessive for many generations) The other factor often overlooked is certain breeds are desirable for their strength and jaw pressure. Putting Pittbulls, Rottweilers, Shepherds etc at the top of the list for bad actors who encourage, entice bad attributes to guard illegal activities. That makes headlines, not Poodles biting neighbors or the mailman.
I own a business and the neighbor in the alley behind us has an aggressive pit bull that they let out to roam. This dog has charged at me, tried to sneak up on me and stood aggressively barking at me. I’ve called the police and the officers response was that if the dog hasn’t attacked me yet, he probably won’t. I can’t even take my trash out some nights. When I do I carry a gun and bear spray. It’s ridiculous. I can’t get anyone take me seriously. I’m not an idiot. I can tell the difference between a dog that is threatening and one that isn’t. I wasn’t on board with banning these dogs until I realized how dangerous they are. I’ve owned a pit bull and she was sweet to us, but I had to keep her chained up because she went after cats. After I had a having a child, I understood just how ridiculous this mentality is. They were banned many years ago in Tucson, were I grew up, and should be again. At this point it doesn’t matter what the cause of their aggression is. Only that they are, in fact, aggressive .
Good on you for defending yourself that is nuts! Take videos of the pit bull trying to get you too... if you end up having to shoot it they won't be able to press charges. Madness that these psychotic animals are even given the time of day. I'm a groomer so I've been in the dog world for a while and I've come to the point where I hate seeing these breeds perpetuated whose "jobs" died out long ago. Bull dogs are another monstrosity that should be let go of. They can't even breed naturally we have to make them in test tubes. Why are we keeping this going when we know all the health issues they have? Just for the sake of keeping the line going? It's human idiocy at its finest.
You should carry a knife on you We had two pit bulls run up to us and our corgi mix. My husband carries a pocket knife and had it ready to go immediately just in case. He even told me how he would have used it 😂. Having an ex cop as a husband is comforting lol
Has anyone brought this up to your governor? I'm certain Sarah Huckabee would be interested in making sure her district attorney looked into this... just a thought.
The whole “dog parent” thing was funny for three seconds, but now it really seems like a mental health crisis. The way too many people talk about and view pets or the way they view dogs and cats in general is sick. It’s like they’re gods. Another thing they do is that every time they talk positively about dogs and cats they MUST talk in the most disparaging terms about children or babies. They border on sounding straight up evil.
That's ONE reason why I hate dogs, because they're so worshiped by entitled people who constantly shove their smelly, dirting, slobbering animal in everyone's face. Literally can't go anywhere without being forced to be around someone's dumb dog... not even restaurants! 🤢
Yes. Thank you. This is the problem. A dog's breed is a small factor (if one at all) in its aggression. The criminals and idolaters of pits should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. That's how we stop this.
@mamatlacuacha Breed is actually a large factor when it's a breed, such as pitbulls, who were specifically bred for aggression. But I agree that dog culture overall is out of control.
@@ashleyl6790, it's actually really hard to breed for personality traits if you know anything about breeding at all. Pits were bred for their strength and jaw size, which are definitely factors we should consider, but personality is almost exclusively about how that animal was treated in its first years. I'm actually for reform on the laws: harsher punishments for owners, one-bite laws (unprovoked), maybe even permits based on weight and/or required training, but we need to have the facts straight and come at it from an unemotional point of reference.
Bravo for being willing to say what needs to be said! 🙌🙌 If a dog attacks my kids or dog I would do whatever necessary to destroy that animal immediately and in the spot if possible. No questions asked. If I owned a dog and it attacked someone or their animals I’d expect nothing less.
Good thing I wasn't one of the folks in that community. Dogs of that nature don't last where I live. And my neighbors fully understand what happens to out-of-control dogs. They don't last long. The owners should be taken "out back" if you know what I mean.
@Chelsea Barker wow you're telling me humans started delivering puppies 🤣 do you know how stupid you sound and look with that comment. Um no sorry God created the animals and humans aren't the reason dogs or any animal is here. We aren't even responsible for bringing human life into this world. They use to culled in the days if they didn't have the temperament.. Pitbulls were bred for fighting dogs, not attacking humans. Man biters use to be killed. Shy pitbulls use to be killed. Pitbulls that didnt trust humans use to be killed.

I hope that dog doesn't end up killing a person. The blood will be on the hands of that prosecutor and the family that owns the dogs. They are not responsible pet owners and At the very least the dogs should be put down.
My heart breaks for Holly and her daughters, that they went through that. A couple months ago my neighbor’s pit bull squeezed under the fence and mauled my little golden retriever in our own yard. When Holly described the 911 call, it made my stomach drop. I know the terror. Thank goodness my pup lived, and even more so that she wasn’t a child. The owner proceeded to say our dog scratched hers up since hers was covered in blood and that her pit would “never hurt a child or anyone.” I was already anti-pit, but Holly’s story just adds to my passionate conviction.
Rita Watkins should be disbarred and arrested and the Harmons should be fined at least 50k and have their dogs put down. And really they should have their dog owning rights suspended somehow even though I'm not sure if that's possible.
talk about PTSD! These neighbors are entitled! The loss of Maple and the other cow, the loss of future revenue involving Maple the are apparently inconsequential to these elitist horrible people who obviously believe that THEY and their poor precious pit bulls are the victims! Totally disregarding the absolute value of Maple and the other cow and the real victims!! Small towns where everyone knows everyone aren't safe from corruption either and the fear and cowardice (Peters when the cock crowed three times!!!) of the board members for doing absolutely nothing but sit and stare. with gapping open mouths save for the one brave and gutsy woman!
It was bad enough that the dogs did this but the level of corruption is shocking. I know at this point we shouldn't be shocked by corruption but this could be a child this dog kills next time. I've followed the story on IG and they have video evidence that it was both dogs. They have all the text messages proving the corruption. There should have been arrests already!
What a devastating experience for this poor family, thank you for this video and speaking out on these dangerous animals, you may well have saved more victims from these dogs
This is so scary. A little over a month ago, I took my mini goldendoodle into my backyard and an Akita came into MY backyard and started attacking my dog and then me. It was the most bizarre and terrifying thing that’s ever happened to me. I had never even heard of an Akita but I guess they are a vicious breed like pit bulls. I ended up getting to safety in our lanai and called 911 and the dog went down the street and attacked a German shepherd next! My dog ended up with wounds but is fine today and I needed surgery and it has felt like I’m living in a nightmare up until about 1.5 weeks ago when I started walking again. Praise God our neighbors down the road that owned the dog agreed to put it down and has agreed to pay for all of our bills but my heart goes out to her and so many that have to deal with this. The fact that these dogs are still near her girls!? So terrible.
This is the right thing to do! Unfortunately these things can happen, but in the event owners need to take responsibility for their animals! I am shocked by the response of these owners. It terrifies me for THEIR children. I cannot believe they left them in the house WITH THEIR CHILDREN directly after a vicious attack. They are behaving completely irresponsibly and putting the life of their dog over the lives and safety of others and other animals. It’s so sad to see.
@@jaclynswanson246 Completely agree. My attack happened about 30-40 min before my kids got off the bus. My husband drove home from work as soon as he found out and he was trying to find the dog (after he checked on me), my sister got my kids off the bus because the medics had just left and we still didn’t know where the dog was. All I kept thinking was that if it was my 6 year old daughter instead of me, she would be dead. I will never understand how someone can be so selfish and irresponsible to go on living life with such a vicious dog like it’s normal and okay. 😭 Like Allie said, if something even worse happens all of those people involved in them keeping the dog need to be held accountable.
@@thestewarttribe WOW I’m so sorry this happened to you! Thank God your daughter was not home! I’m thankful for Allie bring this topic up bc It’s definitely changed my opinion on the topic. I’m now a lot careful with my children around dogs.
Akitas seem to be a problem breed, at least in the US. In their native Japan they’ve traditionally been used as guard dogs for farmers; I think they’re still used in some places there to keep wild monkeys away from fruit crops. They’re known to be highly intelligent, fiercely loyal to their own human families if not very affectionate, but not very fond of other humans, and very territorial. They have to be carefully trained and controlled. Dogs just not getting enough training, attention, exercise, or stimulation is a problem for all breeds, but in some breeds this neglect is more likely to result in a dangerous rather than just a badly behaved dog.
What a tragic story. I hope this family does get justice for their cows. I had a Pit Bull that lived next to me and it tried to break through the fence to get after my Rottweilers. On 3 different occasions it tried to attack my dogs. Every time I had to talk to the owner she would apologize but make foolish excuses why her dog got loose. It went after other dogs on the street that would be walking past with their owners but the cops still did nothing. One day I heard screaming outside and ran out to see the Pit Bull once again had gone after another dog. By the time I got there the girl had jut pulled the Pit Bull off the old Golden Retriever. A man was standing there with his 5 year old daughter. I saw the man turning very White and looked like he was about to pass out so I grabbed his arm that was bleeding very bad and I helped him to the ground. I yelled to another neighbor to call an ambulance and the police. The man was rushed in to surgery and he came back the next day to retrieve his dog that I had kept for him. The girl still had her Pit Bull. After 3 attacks on other dogs, all recorded by police, they were still not going to do anything. Animal control called be to get my take on the situation. I told them all that I knew and added, "can you imagine for a minute if it had the been 5 year old girl who had tried to help her dog, instead of the dad"? She would have likely been missing her face. I told them that if she was allowed to keep the dog, the next person who was hurt, their blood would be on her hand. Thankfully the next day the dog was made to leave the city limits. She just moved with her dog. No idea where they are now but I bet the dog has bit again. It may not be in all Pit Bulls but that one was very aggressive and it should never have been allowed to continue. I have never been breed specific in judgement, I own Rottweilers and people used to think they were dangerous. Pit Bulls are different as they have had hundreds of years of selective breeding for dog aggression. Rottweilers were bred to be droves for cattle and all purpose farm dogs. Big difference. Every shelter across the USA is full of Pit Bulls and Pit mixes. Probably would help if they started with mandatory spay/neuter of all Pit Bull and Pit Bull mixes. The fact that there are so many is a large part of the issue.
Yes. We were looking for a dog for our kids this last Christmas and we always adopt rescues, and it took us forever because every shelter anywhere near us in Colorado is FILLED with pit bulls, and pit mixes!! They are turning away other dogs because they are all overloaded with pit bulls! WTH!? We ended up having to go with a breed specific rescue organization just to get a different kind of dog. It’s unreal.
@@laurenkwarren Also, many shelter will lie about the breed or breed mix as Pits are often banned from certain housing situations so they will list them as "Lab mix" or "dalmatian mix" something that wouldn't trigger a landlord or housing authority. To me, that is even worse as people then do not even know what they have.
@@laurenkwarrenIt’s the same at shelters in Canada; always full of large “problem breeds” like pit bulls that almost nobody wants. They have to put most of them down, even gentle ones that have never showed any problem behavior, because there just aren’t enough people willing or able to adopt these breeds.
We just lost our neighbor who was a deputy sheriff who was dog sitting. When she took them out of the cage to feed them, she & her 6 year old son were attacked. He survived but she died. There were two adult dogs & two puppies, all Pitt bull mixes.

Here in the UK they are banned along with other dangerous breeds. I don't agree with many of the other things that are banned here but dangerous dogs are dangerous in a way that guns and knives aren't.
Pitbulls are Not a dangerous breed . Please don’t make the UKs ignorance (and the US ignorance) about a breed . Any dog can be aggressive or dangerous . Any . It’s about the dog’s environment.
@@bethwarnersullivan5299 I agree. Issue is most owners shouldn't own pitbulls. Temperament is a major factor that is overlooked. Pitbulls with the wrong temperament use to be shot back in the days.
The thing about pits is they have an instinct to latch on. They don’t bite and let go they latch and tear. My poor Bo experienced this and I’m not kidding I had to rip him off.
Let's get something straight here. This is a story about corruption and bad dog owners. Not pits. They are no more likely to bite or latch on than any other dog. They need discipline and responsible, non-abusive owners. No one who worships dogs should own one. Certainly no one who's abusive. They are not angels or devils. Just saying let's focus on the real story here.
At this point, owning certain breeds with evidentially detrimental backgrounds, should only be allowed with a license or permit. If a person is not willing to be accountable for their pet's actions, then such restrictions should be applied for the safety and welfare of the majority.
Any dog that is abused or worshipped is going to become aggressive. Pits are just the most dangerous pound for pound when it happens. I actually don't think requiring permits for any dog over a certain weight is a terrible idea though.
If she had shot those dogs the owners would’ve been boohooing “oh how could you kill our precious babies” blah blah blah and probably trying to sue. And they still allow the animals to roam around?! If somebody gets hurt the owners should be charged. I’d be carrying a gun in that neighborhood and if I got bit somebody’s pooch would be 6ft under. Bye bye ☠️
Right, but if they were such precious babies, they wouldn't have been allowed to run the neighborhood. This wasn't a case of them getting out one time, as reported, they had been running many times and already had a bite history. If they loved their dogs, they would have assured they were not out running, where they could get hurt or hurt someone else. Perfect example of someone who is not responsible enough to own such a dog.
That's great that you're making this public. Those folks need to be held accountable. Prayers for this family and pray over your animals always. If the dog is on your property again, shoot it.
One time I took my dog over to my parents house and both my dog and their dog got out and got one of our neighbors chickens. The neighbor came over and told us what had happened and we found them in the back with feathers everywhere. I profusely apologized and she was kind and said she understood that those things happened but warned us that they will have to protect their animals if it happens again. I completely understood and knew that it was our responsibility to keep our dogs off their property. It’s crazy to me that these people responded this way. The sad part was about a year later two other dogs got into their pasture the and killed their miniature horse. It was so sad! They were never able to find the owners of the dogs and they got away!
Let go of Trump….America is not God, God is not America. Your only hope is in Jesus Christ alone. Hope is not found in right-wing politics ( or lefty-wing for that matter) Trump is not the answer, the Republican Party is not the answer…only Christ can save us.
In my old neighborhood, I used to walk by a Rottweiler and a Bull Mastiff daily with my Goldendoodle. They were in a well fenced yard but always made me nervous. Well, it turns out my instincts were correct, one day they jumped their fence and attacked the sweet little 3 year old girl who lived there while she played in her front yard. They killed her. This was 10 years ago. I still see her parents from time to time because we live in a small town. There’s a sadness in their eyes. I’ve talked to her sister about the deep hole in heart, missing her dead sister. Such sadness. Some dogs are not pets. Some dogs were bred for aggression. Some people will not acknowledge this. 😢
Oh my goodness so heartbreaking! 😢 we have a Rottweiler in our neighborhood that jumps terrifyingly above its fence barking when we walk by. I stopped taking that route... glad I did! We need to trust OUR good human instincts and stop giving stupid dogs so much credit.
That is very sad. I have had Rottweilers for 40 years. Most of mine have been therapy dogs or show dogs. They have all been canine good citizens but any big powerful dog in the wrong home is dangerous. The fact that these dogs, that you talked about, were allowed in a fence they could get out of speaks volumes. I can't imagine having a dog that is so vicious it would go over a fence to get at a kid. What an absolute horror. My heart breaks for the parents/family of that child. People used to be more responsible, you could walk your dog down the street without worry of other dogs because people contained them, but not anymore. I have not walked my dogs in my neighborhood in years because there are too many people who let their dogs (all different breeds) loose and they will chase us. That should never happen. They need to go back to giving fines for dogs running loose. People who lose control of their dogs as a regular thing should lose their dogs. If you cannot control it, you should not be allowed to keep it.
That is SO horribly sad! This is exactly why everyone who is arguing for "responsible" owners sounds silly. Yes, things can be done to deter dogs escaping, but sometimes things happen, a system breaks down or a dog jumps a fence. (After the '94 Northridge quake, my neighbor paid extra to rebuild our wall higher so our dog couldn't peek over at his dog, but she just learned to peek over a 10' wall, instead of 8'.) The biggest problem is that these dog breeds are such a safety risk to the neighborhood! I try to explain that to my animal loving teen daughter, since we now have a neighbor that moved in their adult son's 3 pitbulls to a yard with a metal bar fence where the dogs can see between the large gaps & stare down anything walking by. It is the corner house, so I now feel like I can't walk my dog because to get out of my cul-de-sac I always have to pass that house (even from across the street) going and coming back. I just keep praying the son moves out with those frightening beasts. (They attack each other viscously as you walk by because they get riled up.)
@@rachelpelczar3163 I am all for responsible ownership, it is very possible to live with large powerful breeds of dogs and be responsible. That means a lot more than building an extra tall or heavy duty fence to contain them. It means training them, socializing them and managing them and sadly, it is only a small percentage of dog owners that fit that description. The fact that there seem to be more Pit Bulls and Pit mixes in every single shelter across the USA shows a gross over breeding of these dogs and with only a small percentage of people responsible to own such a dog, that means the majority are going into inappropriate homes and this is where the accidents occur. You might consider calling animal control and sharing your observations of the dogs ripping into each other. If there are visible scars they might be forced to at least remove some of them from the home?
I use to work at a vet clinic and rescued a severely abused pit bull. I got her physically healthy and worked diligently on her training. She attempted to attack a neighbors horse and I humanely euthanized her the very next day. Dogs should be reliable in their behavior and she unfortunately was not. It was not her fault necessarily and I wanted very much for her to have a good and loving home. Unfortunately she could not be reliably trained to not attack another animal therefore it was not responsible to keep her alive. End of story. There are too many really good dogs that needs home to keep one who is aggressive towards other animals of God forbid humans alive.
@@ellzeescammon2600 By original purpose, pit bulls are naturally aggressive toward other dogs and animals. It is more to do with breeding and genetics than abuse or lack of training. You can't love or train out the aggression of a genetically predisposed dog any more than I could love or train out my field bred Springer Spaniel's desire to hunt birds. It can only be managed. It can be bred out, but it takes generations of dedicated breeding to that end for that to happen.
Why does it seem like the most irresponsible people in society, those who shouldn't own ANY dog much less a PITBULL, are the ones who most frequently own them?? I am always worried when I'm out walking my dogs that something like this is going to happen to my pets. Quite frankly I wish they would ban this breed of dog here in America.
The problem here is that really there is not much middle ground with owners. They are either exceptional and have the dogs impeccably trained and the dogs have self control. In these owners hands they accomplish incredible feats of athleticism and are great on feral hog hunts. On the other hand you have absolutely terrible owners who just let their dogs do whatever, roam around with no training and no mental or physical stimulation and so you have an animal with incredible prey drive. It's going to act on it. I really think it's willful ignorance on the part of a lot of pit bull owners. There are reams and reams of information on the internet that explains the necessity of socializing, training, and exercise. Also the incredibly important topic of containment and supervision. These dogs are highly intelligent and highly motivated so if you leave them unattended in your yard with an unsuitable fence they will get out. I feel like this is almost common knowledge. Why anyone would put their neighbors at risk of that is a head scratcher for me. It's also essentially setting the dog they love so much to fail.
@@LauraAnn1980 But, you can't just use the "bad owner" argument. I have heard plenty of stories of dedicated owners, who have decades of experience with these dogs, getting mauled suddenly. I have heard stories of people bringing these dogs home from a shelter and within seconds of walking in the front door the dog mauls. Even my own sister, who has had animals her entire life and is perfectly capable with them, had to get rid of her adopted pit because of aggression issues that could not be trained away. Socializing, training, and exercise are all very important, but you cannot deny genetics. Until the aggression is BRED out of pit bulls it will always be a problem.
This is absolutely heartbreaking. I was actually bitten by a pit bull back in December! The dog belongs to a friend of a friend and when I met the dog she was friendly, was not showing any kind of body language that would make her seem intimidated or aggressive, and I am not a person who doesn’t know how to act with dogs - I always give them space to get used to my scent, etc. Out of nowhere she bit me hard on the arm - I was later told this was an ongoing issue with her and that this was not the first time. Thankfully I was wearing a thick sweater and winter coat at the time but even through those substantial layers the bite bruised my arm pretty badly. If it had been exposed skin I would have been missing a chunk of flesh. It should be illegal to own pit bulls as personal pets, period.
@@Noneyabuisness1234 it's still a crime of negligence to let your dogs go out and kill your neighbors pets. Not to mention there was already a history of the same dogs attacking other neighbor's pets. And there doesn't even have to be a "crime" committed to issue a warrant. Police only need probable cause.
Isn’t destruction of property a crime? Technically the cow is the property of this family’s no? You can just let a powerful and undisciplined dog run around killing other animals (and potentially kids) and destroying other people’s lives or livelihoods (like farm animals).
Dogs are placed on such pedestals. There’s nothing wrong with taking very good, diligent care of your dogs and being very active with them, but they are not children, they are not the same. And a lot of dog owners forget that if that dog turns, they’re no longer your baby, they’re a dangerous animal. I have 2 big dogs, Sammy/lab mix and a husky/Caucasian shepherd mix. I love both, but my child will always come first, and will not be left alone with my dogs until my child is old enough to be safe. It’s just common sense, but somehow people forgot. Maybe it’s the result of so many childless women adopting “fur babies” instead of having actual kids.
I once had a K student who was severely mailed by a pit bull when he was three years old. His grandmother left him in the backyard with it. His face was disfigured and he was missing several of his toes on both feet. The grandmother begged the police not to take her dog! The poor child spent 3 months in the hospital and nearly lost his life. These dogs need to be illegal in this country. We need to euthanized them ALL! Praying for this precious family to get justice and for this corrupt prosecutor to be disbarred.
Any dog or animal that goes feral or is prone to kill other animals or attack people has to be put down. Huntsville, Tx in about 2006 we had our neighbors 3 dogs go feral and our mare was foaling out in the pasture when the 3 dogs ripped the foal out and ate part of it which traumatized the mare to the point she had to be put down. I killed all 3 dogs. The owner of the dogs said nothing in protest. A 2d event was a few years later after we moved to Covington, Tx. The neighbors had 2 female pitbulls who had the bad habit of getting out of their pen. They were friendly and didn't bother us. We even pet them. My wife's parents had sheep also with 2 rams. Well, one morning, I came in from work & I always feed the horses and sheep. As I was by the feed room, I heard the 2 dogs growling at me nearby. I figured if they become aggressive & charge me, then I'll just quickly step into the feed room and close the door. It was still dark, just before dawn, and I called out to the dogs and made nice, non-threatening calls. The dogs calmed down & walked to me out of the dark. I began to rub their necks and muzzle area when I felt the blood on their face and on my hands. So, then I walked towards where the 2 rams were in their pens and saw them lying on the ground, choked out while their bodies convulsed. At that point, I led the dogs to a more secure pen and locked them in. I woke up the in-laws and told them what had happened. I told them to tell the neighbors that they could either pick up the dogs here dead or they could shoot them. Either way, those dogs are dead. So, they agreed, and I put 2 rounds of Buckshot in them. They then picked up their dogs and 2 rams, then buried them. Stray dogs will form packs with other strays and turn feral. They're not scared of humans and should always be killed. They can't be trusted
The breed is not the problem! It is the owners and how the dogs are trained usually. I'm not saying that some dogs in any breed can not be more aggressive than others of the same breed. You can not blame the entire breed. I remember the movie Cujo, people started freaking out over that breed. There was a movie about Doberman Pincher's and again people were freaking out. I've been around chihuahuas and do not like that breed because most I have encountered bite, they are small, so people don't freak. Should we ban chihuahuas? My sister has a little pomeranian mix, her dog as small as it is charged at my German shepherd, and was trying to bit my dogs leg. My dog did not really respond other than a small growl as a warning.
All dogs can have anger and aggression instilled by being mistreated and abused by their owners. But no matter what I do, I CANNOT change my golden retriever’s insatiable urge to retrieve nor my border collie’s urge to herd. Why? Because these things are BRED INTO THEM. It’s part of their physiological makeup. It would be like training a cow to bark or a dog to moo. Pits are BRED to be aggressive dogs. This is their most primal instinct and what will rear it’s ugly head when triggered. Someone commented that some bears are ‘tamed’ and then suddenly act aggressively unprovoked and they state that we aren’t calling for the killing of all bears, so why pits? What a ridiculous statement. Bears are WILD animals. Their instinct is as such and attempting to ‘tame’ one is only asking for trouble. Pits are really in this same category. Attempting to domesticate and have as a family pet has proven (check the stats) to be a ticking time bomb. Just as it isn’t the bear’s fault that it’s a wild animal, it isn’t the pit’s fault either. It’s the humans that think they’re gonna prove something by domesticating and training the natural instinct out of them.
It sounds like this neighbor knew his dogs are terrible and had canned answers for their violent behavior. I love my pits but I know their strength and would not make excuses. I would seek Justice for the person/animal that was hurt. People over pets, always!!
Yup, I have a pit and it requires being a responsible owner. My pit is very protective of me so I have to remember that she doesn’t always understand situations so I need to pay attention.
@@peggyw172, I think they serve a purpose: protection. Unfortunately, they serve the same purpose for criminals and lots of idiots worship them as if they couldn't hurt a fly, which makes them dangerous because they're never trained or put in their place.
so tired of hearing of pet pit bulls that always behaved and then turn on the family. sorry pit owners those dogs don't just bite they maul. i know a little boy who almost died, the family dog that slept in his room every night grabbed him by the head and shook him. mom could not get him off. took 140 staples and multiple skin grafts to save his life, he almost died. family dog, well trained and well behaved.
So many horrific stories like this. People pretend dogs come as blank slates. They do not. They come with hundreds of years of genetic selection to do certain things. Even on top of that though, pitbulls have been bred very irresponsibly in America for years. How could anyone trust they're getting a safe dog.
Let's get something straight here. This is a story about corruption and bad dog owners. Not pits. They are no more likely to bite or latch on than any other dog. They are simply more deadly when they do. They need discipline and responsible, non-abusive owners. No one who worships dogs should own one. Certainly no one who's abusive. They are not angels or devils. Just animals like your Maltese or Chihuahua or Labradoodle.
@@mamatlacuacha LOL. Right. And retrievers aren't more likely to retrieve than any other dogs... and pointers aren't more likely to point... and shepherds aren't more likely to herd.... 🤣
@@ashleyl6790 , all those dogs will also kill if given the chance. It's instinct. Animals have them. I'm 100% for reform, but getting rid of all pits will not solve the problem. It is short-sighted and foolish. People will simply adopt rots or dobermans or huskies as the new big breed to worship or use in dogfighting. And you will have the same problem with those dogs in less than 5 years. Because it's actually not about breeding. It's about how they are raised and, unfortunately, the favorite of criminals and idiots right now is pits. Now I don't know what kind of reform would have helped here. Maybe a first bite law, where a dog gets put down if a charge is filed and proven. Maybe you jail or fine owners more harshly than we do now. But whatever we do, it needs to apply to all dogs and all dog owners. That's fair AND LOGICAL. I have a cousin that was bitten by a rot. Another by a chow. There's a comment on here about a 3-year-old girl that was killed by a rot and a mastiff. Rots were bred to herd and pull carts. Your argument holds no water.
Thank you for sharing the truth and bringing this story to light. I usually want to respond to the insane comments supporting this nonsense, but people who want to defend their pride and their desires will do that no matter what. I’m convinced something about pit bulls speaks to a person’s need for power and dominance (even if it’s by proxy through their dog) and that’s why they defend them even at the expense of the deaths of human beings, particularly children.
I hope the family will be able to get justice. One dog was taken at least, but I know I would not feel safe with the other one still around. I know attack stories may seem like they categorize the majority of these types of dogs, but the truth is that most Pit Bulls are actually good dogs. When I looked up how many Pit Bulls there are in America, it said there are around 4.5 million. On average, 30 to 50 people a year in America are killed by dogs. Of those killed by dogs, not all of them are Pit Bulls. Yes, most of them are classified as Pit Bull type dogs since Pit Bull is kind of a catch-all term for multiple breeds and mixed dogs. However, as stated here, there are other breeds more likely to bite you. The thing about Pit Bulls are that they are much stronger than the average dog. We see that here as they are able to bring down a thousand-pound animal. So when they are aggressive, they can do more damage. It is like comparing a German Shepherd to a Jack Russell Terrier. The Jack Russell Terrier bites more people, but the German Shepherd, being larger and stronger, is seen as the more aggressive/dangerous dog because of its capability to do greater damage. Pit Bulls being stronger than the average dog is not really grounds to deem them as untrustworthy and dangerous. Should we ignore the vast majority of Pit Bulls that have never hurt anyone and only look at those that attack people? That hardly sounds fair.
My neighbors dog was just attacked in their yard by another neighbor who didn't have their dog on a leash which go figure pit bull and he said well he's male aggressiveness he knew it and it was like he was blaming her for having her dog in her yard. He was injured and so was she. He crushed her collar he had on and punctured right behind his shoulder and neck. She fractured her heel. They haven't Apologized or even checked on them. However they did call animal control and when she called they weren't even going to report it. They didn't want her to. Wow his sister is in state gov. His brother is a k9 cop and he said the trainer will assess him for agreeing to and loan behold she said that's my trainer he loves Cooper not a.mean bone about him so he wo t say that about your dog. They haven't talked since. They have hired an attorney

3 separate legal issues here: Civil, your neighbors can't undo the loss or the trauma but are certainly on the hook for the value of the cow. Criminal, negligence of the owners of the aggressive dogs. They put their neighbors lives and property in danger. Corruption, that the dog owners abused a personal connection to avoid equal and fair treatment under the law. Shameful
Allie Beth - raised Protestant here - listened to your debate with George Farmer - take a listen to the “Lord of Spirits” podcast - start from the oldest episode - I learned a lot!!! So interesting - I have to say - more depth than the traditional Protestant point of view
This is terrible. What the dogs displayed was a lot more than the instinct to hunt, but the instinct to kill for sport, which was what pit bulls were bred to do. Dragging cows into a pond to drown them and then just leaving the carcasses to float? That is not driven by a need to eat. So many dog owners don't acknowledge that breeds have particular instincts that will play out with the right impetus. And if anyone argues that it's not the dog but the owner, and many owners train their dogs well in spite of their breed, then I must ask: why should anyone be expected to risk the irreplaceable and trust that a dog owner has done their due diligence? There are ways for the Simons to strengthen the security of their herd. I know they seem to be interested in more "boutique" animals, but if these animals are going to range outside (like they should), having working animals around to protect their investments would be a good idea. They could invest in a couple of full-size donkeys. In ranch country, many ranchers keep donkeys since they are effective against coyotes. The Simons' mini-donkey might have been trying to react to the pit bulls in the same way, but was just missing brawn, plus he was the only donkey against more than one pit bull, which is a breed that becomes laser-focused and rather determined to finish off whatever is in its sight to kill. Another option is getting some LGDs, such as an Anatolian / Pyrenees. They are natural cattle guard dogs that have been bred to fight and fend off all sorts of predators, including wolves. It's like fighting fire with fire; the protective instincts of an LGD can be used against the killing instincts of a pit bull. Just like with donkeys, it might be wise to get more than one if you're going to get any LGDs at all. The LGDs and donkeys would also sound the alarm much faster than the cattle, especially if all these animals were sounding the alarm at the same time. The only thing is that if you aim to use both LGDs and donkeys, you have to keep them separate, since the same aversion that donkeys have against coyotes could be applied against any canine (hence their potential usefulness against marauding pit bulls). There's always a chance too that if you train the donkeys to accept the LGDs, they might not see much of a difference between LGDs and any other canine, so they might leave invading predatory canines alone. The options above still might not eliminate the threat, and should not be totally relied upon to take care of it for you, but at least they will slow it down until you can respond with the third option. The third option is to have something on hand that makes a loud noise (though of course in this situation I doubt this route would have been as effective since the pit bulls had taken their killing spree under water). People in rural areas usually use rifles or shotguns. If they catch sight of a predator or hear about a predator in their area, they scare it off by discharging a gun. If a gun can't be used, perhaps an air horn or firecrackers could work (I haven't seen these methods in action), but guns are definitely effective, plus can be used as the last resort if the predator is clearly going to attack you, your family member, or your animal. I'm mentioning this option because it sounds like an adult and two kids ran to the alarm empty-handed even though they didn't know what to expect. It's a natural thing to want to run to see what's going on, but if there's a literal life-and-death struggle going on, what would you be able to do? And what if the predator takes a chance and decides to attack you? Furthermore, if predators learn there are vulnerable animals (and vulnerable people) on your property, and you don't really do anything to deter them, they tend to come back (which is another reason many rural homesteaders would have shot those dogs on the spot even after the damage was done). If you can't legally discharge a gun on your own property especially in defense of the little lives dependent on you, *please* consider relocating your homestead.
Not only are those dogs dangerous...so are the Neighbors ! Who the hell wants neighbors like that ? There is NO REASON to have dogs like that running around the neighborhood. It's about justice ! 💪
This is a very heartwrenching account. There is a passage in the Bible, somewhere in the Torah, which deals with animals, specifically oxen, who have been in the habit of goring people.
“If an ox gores a man or a woman to death, the ox shall surely be stoned and its flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall go unpunished. If, however, an ox was previously in the habit of goring and its owner has been warned, yet he does not confine it and it kills a man or a woman, the ox shall be stoned and its owner also shall be put to death. If a ransom is demanded of him, then he shall give for the redemption of his life whatever is demanded of him. "Whether it gores a son or a daughter, it shall be done to him according to the same rule. If the ox gores a male or female slave, the owner shall give his or her master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned. "If one man’s ox hurts another’s so that it dies, then they shall sell the live ox and divide its price equally; and also they shall divide the dead ox. Or if it is known that the ox was previously in the habit of goring, yet its owner has not confined it, he shall surely pay ox for ox, and the dead animal shall become his." Exodus 21:28-32,35-36 (NASB'95)
About 5 years ago my sister and brother-in-law lost their 18 year old min-pin when their neighbor's pit bull came into their yard and attacked the litte old dog, right in front of my brother-in-law. He is now a retired cop but was still working at the time and the dog also attacked him when he picked up his little dog and my brother-in-law ended up with infection and nearly lost his hand. They sued the neighbor and were awarded a settlement but the dog was not destroyed. Now just two weeks ago their current dog was also attacked by a roaming pit bull, in my sister's own garage! The dog was actually running away from the loose dogs and trying to hide. Thankfully he survived but is injured and my brother-in-law was once again injured trying to protect his pet. The two dogs ran off and weren't found. I am a huge dog lover, but in my opinion pit bulls should be outlawed. We have 2 beagles and a mini doxie, people love to say how dachshunds are known to bite. Well our dogs have never even attempted to bite anyone and our doxie is tiny, she certainly couldn't rip a child's scalp off like some pits have done. I would never tolerate an aggressive dog and I would be mortified if our dogs ever hurt anyone or anyone's pets/animals.
This story was terrifying. Cows can weigh over 1,000 lbs, but two dogs were able to do that. If even one of those dogs went after a child, it would be awful. Thankfully Pit Bulls, while quite animal aggressive and highly prey driven, are said to generally be human friendly. I think it has something to do with how they would be euthanized in the past for showing human aggression due to the fighting and hunting purposes they were used for. Hunters and people involved in fights did not want such powerful and tenacious dogs biting them. They needed a dog that, even when in the frenzy of a fight or a hunt, needed to be able to handle said dog without having to worry about the dog biting them. It could be the difference between life and death for hunters, and dog fighters had to wash the opponent's dog before the match.
To people starting homesteading. Dogs are a real issue, the chance of having an issue with predators in general is real and it's not for the faint of heart. I hope this situation will encourage gun ownership. Nobody cares about your property as much as you and it is your responsibility to be prepared to protect your animals and your property even to the point of deadly force. I'm so sorry about the loss of poor Maple.
I wouldn’t dream of living in the country unarmed. In most parts of the world rural property owners have the right to shoot free roaming dogs that come onto their property; you have to be prepared to do that to protect yourself, your family, or your own pets or livestock. Feral or just poorly controlled dogs can become a nightmare in rural areas. And it’s not a breed specific thing; a friend of mine once lived on a communal farm in Tennessee where they raised goats. They lost dozens of their baby goats to the neighbors’ Newfoundland dogs. The neighbors did nothing. Eventually they put out poison for the dogs, which is horrible, but they had exhausted all other options. At least one of the dogs must have taken the poison because they never saw any of those dogs on their property again. I’m not sure why they didn’t shoot the dogs; maybe they didn’t like firearms.
My neighbor's pitbull attacked mine in my yard and sent him to ER vet. Thankfully my pup had his boundary collar on and is part boxer (thick skull). He would be dead otherwise. Local Marshall "talked" to them... that dog still escapes its enclosure. No one cares unless it kills someone. Super frustrating. And no my neighbor did not pay vet bills or apologize.
There is a white pitbull that roams my neighborhood occasionally. I always worry when I go to get my children into the van to go somewhere , that the pitbull will be out so I usually go out on the porch for about 30 seconds to be sure he isnt roaming before I take the children out. We live in the rural midwest, decent enough neighborhood so we were surprised to see the pitbull roaming from time to time ( Also, thank the Lord, our yard is fenced and oriented in a way where that dog cant get at the fence thankfully so our children and our collie can go outside to play safely.)
Look, I do NOT care the breed of the dog. Any dog that bites one stranger in the presence of the owner, kills multiple small animals, then kills a large animals after multiple complaints, and months. That animal should be handled period. Clearly both animals are involved in this not just one. The owners need to be banned from owning animals ever again because Clearly they are not responsible for their animals.
You guys, remember this was a HIGHLAND cow. Not a regular cow. So even though the thought of a dog killing a regular cow is crazy, a highland cow is soooo much bigger and stronger!!!! It’s insane and speaks to the horrifying reality of the deadly capability of those dogs.
I thought the contrary, that the Highland cows were smaller than a a regular cow. Thank you for clarifying. And now that I am processing the information... I have some experience with yearling and 2 year old Holstein, dairy show heifers. It baffles my mind to think how big the cow was and that 2 dogs were able to get it and kill it so viciously. Makes me wonder if the cows, maybe most cows, are so domesticated that they do not have defensive experience, ability(?)
I know someone who owns a pit who is totally fine. But you know what his job is? Killing any wild hogs who escape the pen after they’ve been captured (it’s illegal where they live to release wild hogs that have been trapped). A pit bull needs to kill. If it doesn’t have a job of killing, it could go freelance at any time.
I feel bad for the children that live in the home still with the pit bull because they have a way higher chance of harm/death from their irresponsible parents. My husband just went to jail for shooting a menacing dog that came on our property that had already been known to kill animals. He was defending our family and still went to jail. It was very clear to me in that courtroom that the dog owner holds the ace card in this country. Their dog is in higher value than my child. I keep questioning what will happen when another menacing dog shows up and hurts one of my children or tries to. I do not believe that justice would be served. The corruption in city government isn't localized to this cow owner's story, but my area too. I am sure it is in other places as well. This is just one of many problems in our nation, but this should get more attention because of the threat of human life.
My Dad also shot a dog on our property that would lay on our front porch and not let him or my Mother come out. He would also jump our fence into our back yard to attack our cocker spaniel. Of course this was 60 years ago, but when the dogs owner tried to sue, case was dismissed. When sanity reigned.
@@AllieBethStuckey it’s just sad. The problem could be over in 15 years if people would at least sterilize them. I can’t imagine these breeders couldn’t make as much or more with golden doodles or something.
Any poodle mix or purebred I've come across was far more nasty than any pit I've known. It's definitely the owners rather than the breed. For one, pits are the #1 choice for low level, low IQ criminals. The other problem is dog worship. It happens all the time with little breeds which is how they earned the nickname "ankle biters". The problem with pits when they're worshipped is they don't just bite ankles.
@@JG-bt3bt The shelters are overpopulated with pit bulls, because most people don't want a dog that can kill them. Seriously, look at petfinder, and at least 80% of the dogs on there are pit bulls or pit bull mix. It can be hard to find a suitable non-pit shelter dog, but it is possible, and shelter dogs can be wonderful. I think they're smart enough to know they've been rescued and they appreciate it. There's also nothing wrong with getting a puppy from a good breeder and training it into the ultimate family pet, which is what I did. My dog is a mutt, from a breeder's accidental litter. If no one ever bought a dog from a breeder, soon there wouldn't be any shelter dogs, either.
Geez the protector in me is going crazy listening to this! 😠 And thank you Jesus that the dogs didn't attack you or your children. 🙏 Btw you should've never followed the dogs after they left and especially not with the kids. And everyone should own a gun. Especially if they live on a farm.

Most often, they are criminals. The next most common type of owners are "pittie" idolaters. These criminals and idiots more than account for the number of attacks. Pits are just dogs.
If you own an animal that is capable of pulling a cow underwater you dont own a pet. You own a weapon!

@@rhondaharris398
know what breed is # 1 in bites? The poodle.fact
#2 is the cocker spaniel.
This"Rage Syndrome", a type of seizure, was prevalent in his bloodlines to the 3rd and 4th generations.Once removed, It took another 3generations to restore the breed standards (tho w/57,000 chromosomes it could remain recessive for many generations)
The other factor often overlooked is certain breeds are desirable for their strength and jaw pressure.
These people are dangerous. Along with their 🐕s. Keep your children and your family safe. Prayer mantle needed. It borderlines on demonic.

They border on sounding straight up evil.
unfettered access to abortion is the root cause of this affliction where women begin dressing their dogs in tutus and carry them in hand bags
This is traumatizing! Wow! Thanks Allie for bringing this story to light. Praying for justice in this and no one gets hurt by the remaining dog.
Thanks for saying it out loud Allie Beth, children and people matter more than animals. Let's get real!
As those dogs well shouldn't! Humans are responsible for having brought them to this world, we have the responsibility to take them out too.
@Chelsea Barker wow you're telling me humans started delivering puppies 🤣 do you know how stupid you sound and look with that comment.

This is so upsetting. Poor Maple. Poor family. So wrong.
Corruption exists in every level of the government

We just lost our neighbor who was a deputy sheriff who was dog sitting. When she took them out of the cage to feed them, she & her 6 year old son were attacked. He survived but she died. There were two adult dogs & two puppies, all Pitt bull mixes.

At this point, owning certain breeds with evidentially detrimental backgrounds, should only be allowed with a license or permit. If a person is not willing to be accountable for their pet's actions, then such restrictions should be applied for the safety and welfare of the majority.
I'm french and here, in France, pitbulls are banned but lots of people still own them...
Bye bye ☠️
Shoot, shovel, and shut up about it. I can't imagine the police would spend a whole lot of time looking for a dog responsible for being a menace.
Where I live and probably where you do as well, you will go to jail if you shoot a dog. My husband just did.
The police there don't have daily murders to solve like here in the city. They should respond. Those dogs can kill someone

@@asrotties I agree. I have met some very nice Rottweilers.
And was she a "bad" dog because she was a pit bull, or because she was "severely abused"?
@@ellzeescammon2600 By original purpose, pit bulls are naturally aggressive toward other dogs and animals. It is more to do with breeding and genetics than abuse or lack of training. You can't love or train out the aggression of a genetically predisposed dog any more than I could love or train out my field bred Springer Spaniel's desire to hunt birds. It can only be managed. It can be bred out, but it takes generations of dedicated breeding to that end for that to happen.

This family is so sweet, and I'm so grateful the dogs chose to run instead of attack the girls. 🙌🏼 #justiceformaple
Yes they SHOULD ban it, they are unusually dangerous
@@LauraAnn1980 it is not the owners, pits are bred to be unusually brutal, aggressive and dangerous that maul and fight to the death
@@LauraAnn1980 I agree with you completely.
I don't understand how or why the warrant wasn't sign immediately for the police to enter the house and TAKE THE DOGS!???
@@Noneyabuisness1234 it's still a crime of negligence to let your dogs go out and kill your neighbors pets. Isn’t destruction of property a crime? Technically the cow is the property of this family’s no?
You can just let a powerful and undisciplined dog run around killing other animals (and potentially kids) and destroying other people’s lives or livelihoods (like farm animals).
I’m honestly tired of all dogs and owners that think their dogs are super important. 😅
THANK YOU. Those are the problem owners and yes, a lot of them own pits. They also like little dogs and turn them into little demons.

So many horrific stories like this. People pretend dogs come as blank slates. They do not. They come with hundreds of years of genetic selection to do certain things. Even on top of that though, pitbulls have been bred very irresponsibly in America for years. How could anyone trust they're getting a safe dog.

@@ashleyl6790 , all those dogs will also kill if given the chance. It's instinct. Animals have them. I'm 100% for reform, but getting rid of all pits will not solve the problem. @Ashley L Yes exactly. Why are pit bull owners so blind to the truth??
What a terrible event and such corruption! So sorry for this family. I hope you got paid for the loss of your animals.
Shameful
This story completely changed my views on pitbulls.
Such a sad story on so many fronts!!
PRAYING FOR YOUR FAMILY! GLORIFY GOD THROUGH THIS! :) GOD ORCHESTRATES EVERYTHING! TURN THIS TRAGEDY TO SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL!
They also have higher levels of L Tyrosine than other needs making them more aggressive and unpredictable
Citation please? Both that they have higher levels and that it makes them more aggressive.
Or if it is known that the ox was previously in the habit of goring, yet its owner has not confined it, he shall surely pay ox for ox, and the dead animal shall become his."
Exodus 21:28-32,35-36 (NASB'95)
Did I miss it, I’m wondering did your guest receive any compensation from the dogs owner for the life of her cow.
No she hasn't.
I missed that too
About 5 years ago my sister and brother-in-law lost their 18 year old min-pin when their neighbor's pit bull came into their yard and attacked the litte old dog, right in front of my brother-in-law.
Wow this is terrifying. Holly, I’m so sorry about your cows! Thankful the dogs didn’t come after you/your girls.
This is so sad. Is there any update on what is happening to the dog and all the people involved?
Look, I do NOT care the breed of the dog. Any dog that bites one stranger in the presence of the owner, kills multiple small animals, then kills a large animals after multiple complaints, and months. That animal should be handled period. Clearly both animals are involved in this not just one. The owners need to be banned from owning animals ever again because Clearly they are not responsible for their animals.
These farmers should have a weapon to take any type of predator down. Forget the neighbor.
These people should be arrested. It’s people like this who wreck for everyone. No one should own a pitbull these occurrences happen too often.
Poor lady.
@@lisafeck1537 Well duh lol. Use lions and tigers kill domestic cattle because it's easy prey. Instead of trying to process anything do ur research.
She specifically said in the video that these are mini highland cows. Not regular size so they are smaller than normal cows
@@albrow12she said that they also were pulling a 1000 pound steer underwater.
Yep - they’re great for that! That’s exactly what they’re bred to do
They'll kill other things too. This is a lame excuse for owning one of these stupid dogs.
Do some real research on Pit Bulls....that may have been with that specific dog, but the rest of your comment is B.S!!!
I don't expect any better behavior from a pitbull owner, tbh. Sad.
I hope the Attorney General's office will do a full investigation into Rita Watkins and see how she has behaved prior to this incident.
Who is still breeding these awful dogs? Who’s paying money to buy them?
Too many people 😢
@@AllieBethStuckey it’s just sad.
Nobody should be breeding any dogs. Shelters are overpopulated!!!! Go rescue a dog, people.
And thank you Jesus that the dogs didn't attack you or your children. 🙏
Btw you should've never followed the dogs after they left and especially not with the kids.
And everyone should own a gun. Especially if they live on a farm.
People have personalities like their dogs. Beware of people who choose vicious breeds.
The City Administrator’s last name is spelled Geffken. The link to his email might be wrong.
I was about 17 yrs old jogging in my neighborhood when I encounter a vicious Pitbull he stared at me , I was scared to even breath , barking non stop slowly making his way towards me , if it wasn’t for a neighbor who pull over next to me so I could get in I don’t know what it would’ve been ,
PITTBULLS ARE NOT PETS
I am so very sorry this happened to your family, Holly. This dog needs to be put down. Also, that family needs to pay for your cattle.
Pitbulls are horrible dogs... And yes, people who have these animals as pets oftentimes aren't great human beings either.
Most often, they are criminals. The next most common type of owners are "pittie" idolaters. These criminals and idiots more than account for the number of attacks. Pits are just dogs.
So what happened to the other cow? Were they alright? I know they had to bury the one did they have to replace the cow??
I don't understand why the owners said the black one was the bad one when it is the white one that actually bit a neighbor. 🐕🤨
Those are evil people. They shouldn't have pets or kids
I hope they're suing in civil court
Does anyone know an update on this situation?
