At first it was a great TAS with fast boss fights, tight movement, and a few cool glitches. And then they got the hookshot. 10/10 what the hell did i just watch
Me watching the TAS before the grapple: lots of neat really tight tricks, amazing what TAS can do Me watching the TAS after the grapple: what in the god damn hell is this
The grapple movement the TAS abuses is based on a glitch involving the "lock position" / aim lock button. If you're holding straight up, or diagonally backwards, when the grapple connects, the game logic assumes you're directly under or just to the front of the anchor point respectively, forgetting that the grapple moves continuously when aim lock is held. This lets you do a whole lot of interesting things and makes grapple well worth the 4 minutes it takes to go out of your way for it.

"Pattern minds can manipulate reality at will" 😳I'd say so
Starts off like Blaster Master, ends up like Sonic.
HUGE improvement over the previous TAS. Love the new route!
The movement tech the moment that the Grapple was acquired was INSANE.
Like Julius mode in the Aria of Sorrow TAS levels of insane
Cant believe another glitch would bring this below 25
Just the thought of finishing this below 25 mins .... just fucks with my head
Astonishing TAS
15:08 was not expecting that at all
Yes, yes, I understand what happens.
15:06 excuse me what?

This game has such great music
The TAS is so fast it gets laggy at points. Other than that, it is fun to watch.

The hookshot must have been broken in my game because it never could do that

グラップルで変態飛行ユーキャンヒッミーしたりとサムスやアルバス以上に自由だな…
Grande amigo
10:55 prob my fav moment in the first half of the vid
Towards the end, you can't even see the character anymore. He's just a mess of glitches and explosions.
Looks like Metroid/Contra/Castlevania to me.
What kinds inputs are making grapple do that?
The way like 1/2 the game was skipped tho
metroid/boshy
This game looks different... like Metroid? What's the game title? 🎮
