This is it, Madeline. Just breathe. You can do this.
Celeste is a platform game released in 2018 and developed by independent game studio Extremely OK Games, who also developed TowerFall Ascension ( tasvideos.org/3833M ). It features Madeline, a young girl who sets on a journey to reach the summit of the titular mountain. Can she survive the many dangers that await her on her ascent?
This time, EuniverseCat ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/E... ), fishmcmuffins ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/f... ), keylie ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/k... ), dahlukeh ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/d... ) and Lanvilla ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/L... ) collect all 175 red strawberries, the moon berry, all 24 crystal hearts, all B-Side cassette tapes as well as completing every chapter (which also includes the B- and C-Sides as well as the recently released Farewell chapter) in a record in-game time of 1:16:51.335.

I'd recommend taking a look at the authors' comments for this run (linked in description) -- we put a lot of work into them and many questions you might have and explanations for how things work can be found there.
authors comments also includes a (slightly outdated) version of the run that has audio commentary, might be worth a watch as well

I expected a Celeste TAS to be wild, but I didn't anticipate it looking essentially like a run with noclip/free-flying enabled! Really great stuff!

When the mountain has anxiety
That's a trail of strawberries I've ever seen! Good god, a little bit unsatisfying, but at least we've seen how the game is not supposed to be played (or how it is supposed to be played cuz I don't see other alternatives for some of the levels, and it seems quite impossible). As well as so much secret puzzles and levels that previous TAS had never explored. Nice work!
Madeline always chases strawberries everytime he sees one.

why does the video say 1:27:36 when the In game time is 1:16:51.
1:27:36 is the Real Time of the run (as opposed to IGT), which it seems like is what TASvideos shows for all of the TASes on the site.
The timer freezes when outside of a level. I have heard somewhere that the timer also freezes for a few frames when dashing, and over time that adds up. All that added up means the real time will be much higher than the in game timer.
@@sqeekybassoon8210 yeah i had a look at the video (read: used , and . to look at a couple of dashes frame-by-frame), and it seems like some dashes pause the timer for 3-4 frames? considering the timer usually increases a fair bit each frame, it probably does add up to be quite a big difference in timing
Why are there strawberries just floating in the air? Shouldn't they be attached to a strawberry plant? Also, that color-changing hair trick looks pretty cool. I wish I could do that.
