As always, love this footage of the vintage NSWGR diesels. It never ceases to amaze me how quiet the 47s are. Makes me curious as to the size of the exhaust silencers they have on them. Interesting how modern Caterpillar prime movers are quite noisy compared to the ones the 47s use.
Lovely video capturing some late 90’s LVRF trains, seems like they only assigned 4486, 4701 and 4716 to the northern runs in the beginning
