Hi folks, I hope you enjoy my little introduction to the revised BMW S1000RR for 2023. Admittedly we say S1000RR "range" here but the non-Sport model isn't here. I think BMW sell very few non-Sport models in the UK anyway. So get up close and personal with the Sport! Apologies in advance for any mistakes or omissions 😊 For example, @ 2:10 fork offset has been reduced by 3mm not increased!! Please note that the prices shown are inclusive of optional extras.

P.S. on a technical note, I had to film this at 8K (!) on my smart phone to avoid flickering from the showroom lighting, so the video is zoomed in more than I would have liked.... also I wasn't using image stabilisation because I don't like the warpy effect that the mode sometimes adds to my footage. I'll go for the red one, no the white one, or thinking about it maybe the black. But then on second thoughts.........
The red one is growing on me!

All three look very nice and sporty. Even the previous model was nice in my opinion. Now that is revs a bit higher it is gonna be even more brutal on the road. You got my like bro.

Well they are something else superb bikes I will never own one but can admire the looks and superb design it must be like getting fired out of a cannon piloting one of these bike fabulous .When are you going to take one out on test or maybe buy one 😉cheers Rikky .👌👍
Sorry Mal have missed a few comments recently! I hope to take the red one out soon! Not sure about buying one... but I'd love a bike that was more suited to track days than my R1250!
I Hope 2024 comes with a complete new design.😌
I would love to have a go on the S1000RM when my GS is in for its next service. The RR looks fierce lol

In the 2022 model, it was sometimes difficult to see the side mirrors due to vibration. what about this model?
I have only ridden the 2022 model for a very short distance and so I can't comment on how good (or bad) the mirrors were sorry. Hopefully someone else will be able to give you some info.

I don't have a 22 and I haven't been able to ride my 23 yet due to winter, but I hear the changes to the triple tree have fixed that issue. That's the word, time will tell as spring comes and more people get out to ride the 23s.
Ive test rode a 23. The mirrors are just as useless 😂.
But there are less vibrations through the whole bike over the 2022
No issue, no vibration through mirrors although my bike is M sport with Carbon wheels which also have stopped and bar vibration.

Too aggressive ergos for me, but I wish they weren’t as if there’s a better-looking, more exciting sportbike on the market I don’t know what it is. That red in particular is stunning.
Yes agreed on ergos, But they look amazing, if I was twenty years younger lol
Sorry to say this but the more supposedly impressive numbers I hear the colder I get. In the past the Japanese where blamed for ever keeping the motorcycle cold war fueled. Now BMW, once claiming to be the sound thinkers, have become the "leading" builders of such Dinosaurs. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
What's really sad is the new 2023 Suzuki GSXR 1000 can tuned to 224hp and outrun the BMW lol
Too bad BMW's never won a motorcycle championship irregardless how much they cost
They've won at the Ilse of Man and Macau though so in Road Racing they've done pretty well.

These are road bikes, not race bikes so whats that got to do with it?
@@Yamaprilia Well winning race bike are the basis for good road bikes. BMW could race Superbike but then they are afraid to lose there too .B..ig M..oney..W asted..
