    Yonex coming right at Speed Pro and Gravity Pro

    • @AlexTennisChannel

      Maybe not the Gravity pro because it has a lot more control

    • @agradina

      its not better than anyone of those. i tested and doest seem to me to have more control or pop than this 2.Except voleying with it i didnt found better at anything else ,or maybe it had the wrong strings.

    Are both racquets arm friendly ? I played with the 100 today and was surprised how fast it was and how arm friendly. Is the 100D as fast as the 100 ? May be with a better control. Thanks for this good review.

    Thanks lads from Australia. Personally when I see racquet testers who can actually play their opinions hold more weight for mine. How clean does Nikki hit the ball ? Could watch that court level stuff for days .. lol. Anyway I’m coming from vcore 95 (which I thought was the holy grail) then switched to some blade 98’s (a little too “mushy” for me with less feel … to now got two percept 100d coming. At 44 I feel I’ve got maybe 5 good years of tennis left before the body will start to adversely affect my game so I don’t care about jumping from frame to frame in terms of $$$ spend - ya only live once and ya can’t take it with you .. thanks for the review guys ur channel is my go to along with karue for all things tennis due to ur own tennis playing level

    Hospital green is what I would call the color of that racquet. Not my personal fav but it sounds like it hits well. Interesting comment about the 100 feeling a little like a toy. I had the same impression the first time I hit with my Ezone 100 and literally told my friend it felt like a toy. I added a leather grip and some weight to the handle changing it from 4pts to 8pts HL. Felt much more stable and lost the toy feeling. Could be why these are at 6pts HL like a previous commenter mentioned.

    • @TheJstaples
      @TheJstaples 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ha same first impression here, toy like but ina good way. Haven't added the leather grip and lead yet, have you had any elbow problems? Its pretty stiff

    • @ATX_SuperDave
      @ATX_SuperDave 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheJstaplesI have mine strung with a full bed of Solinco Hyper-G Soft 1.25mm at 52lbs. No elbow issues so far and it’s been over a year. I used cotton balls and tungsten putty inside the butt cap along with the leather grip to also add stability against harder hitters.

  • @dracowst

    bought the 100D immediately when I got the chance and I love it so far. Just haven't found the optimal string setup for me yet. Tried Head Lynx Tour 1.25 and Yonex PTP 1.25 at 22kg and 23 kg respectively, but I'm not 100% happy with either of them. Might have to try some other strings... But it still plays great! And yeah, it does look a hell of a lot better with the stencil on :D

    This is a very open 18 mains string pattern with even spacing right across. Plays more like a 16 than a traditional 18. I was shocked how lively it is. Balance is almost perfect but I would definitely put a leather grip and a touch of lead at 6 & 9.

      Mine in fine with multi but you may want to string it at higher tension. I didn't feel it became overpowered or launchy but at 100 sq inch i lost a bit of directional control

    The RA of this frame is quite high... is it stiff ?

    • @TheJstaples
      @TheJstaples 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It doesn't feel as stiff as the 66 RA rating for me but its not buttery soft either. I think the hoop is where the stiffness is but the throat and handle is soft so it feels softer than if the whole racquet was stiff. I've had elbow issues so i also string it with multi at 45 lbs
