I have the solo3 and I can’t wear them for a long time because it’s like a vice grip on my head. After just a few minutes my ears hurt. How are these in comparison ?

so glad I bought two pairs of solo pros which had ANC in 2021. no ANC on these is a dealbreaker.

They are nice Headphones but they are hard to recommend now that the Studio's have come down in price significantly. I bought my Studio's open box but never used for £220, these Solo's are £200 from Apple. No ANC is a complete deal breaker for me at this price.

I have a few headphones , including AirPods and Beats Studio ….i actually like the level of bass on the solo 3 ….. given the 4 doesn’t sound the same , I might see if I can get a good deal on the 3 and get a back up

Does this switch over to each Apple device as you change device in use like Airpods do? I love the fact I don't have to do anything and my Airpods moves between Macbook and iphone as I play sound on each device.

Disappointed. They should have released Beats Solo Pro 2 instead. Still use the Solo Pro, great headphone IMHO.

Solo 3: 5 minutes for 3 hours
Solo 4: 10 minutes for 5 hours
If you do 10 minutes on the solo 3, you’ll get 6 hours, so that’s technically slower on the new one?

They don't turn off when closed, they have no ANC, and they moved the controls to the left side. I'm returning mine and staying with the Beats Solo.

Some people hate ANC and for ANC there are the Studios so I think it's good to have options

I’m the one who hates ANC- make me headache all the time. Great headphones. Perfect size ! A lot of hours of work. Quality and price is very good

Everyone has different preferences, If they like ANC, they can get studio pros, If they don’t like ANC, they get solo 4s. Let people like what they want 👍

Yeah no, I’m going with the pros, on ear headphones are not good and they’re painful.
Unless you’re on a budget then that’s different or if you’re a fan of on ear but it’s not great.
