Very sad, that you have so few likes for your fantastic videos. The Spirit of your posts represents nearly everything all of us is seeking for. 🤗 Keep going on.
Maybe of no interest to anybody, but in Newfoundland, cloudberries are called bakeapples, and lingonberries are partridgeberries. Great scenery, reminds me of home!
Another wonderful job, you have outdone yourselves again. The species identifications are a great professional touch. Looking forward to the next episode!
Amazing...again. you're footage and sympathy with the wildlife is unique. Amongst sailing channel this is unprecedented and buetyfull. Thanks for letting us be there and I appreciate the huge amount of work you put into the vids. ❤
Love these films. The comedy bit at the end is fun and maybe you could use more of this - I suspect there is loads of material! - interspersing the great film not just at the end. Still great chill filming and editing!
We just motored by your yacht to see if you were on board, wanted to say a huge thanks for all the wonderful videos. Missed you. So here's a thank you from us on Slipstream 😊⛵️🌞
Wow, thank you so much! Such a shame we missed each other. We saw your boat sailing by whilst we were on a walk, lovely yacht! Thanks again and happy travels! 😊⛵️😃🌅
@sailing-freespirit We will meet one day ⛵️🇳🇴💗 (I'll make more chocolate cookies and save a wee dram, or six, till then) . Fair winds and safe sailing to you too. We didn't feel it appropriate to approach the boat unless you were there. Till next time! Xxxx
@@atuanderson Aye sounds like a good plan! 😉⛵️🥃 will keep an eye out for Slipstream and hope our paths cross again soon, till then fair winds and enjoy the beauty of Norway! Xxx
Hi there, this is Ben and Danielle from SV Happy Day. Looks like you have really great time. Just a small info; if you like to stay in Norway longer than 3 month, you can get an unlimited permit from the police. We just did it, and its for free. They told us, that just going out of norwegian waters does not count. You would have to go to another country and come back. All the best and enjoy you adventure!
Great video again, thank you! Ramsalt pub was absolutely stunning pub, just visited there in last week! Was it enough to Norwegian customs that you left the Norwegian waters and got back? I thought you should visit some other country to get the permit renewed. Great if that’s the case!😊
@@omainen1 Pleased you liked it - thanks! As a European citizen there are no permits required for short stays, just a restarting of the clock every 90 days. Have heard mixed reports from different sources about what leaving the country requires to restart the clock. However, we have never heard of any travelling sailor being brought to task for overstaying the 90 days and we have met plenty of sailors who have overstayed. There is an official registration process you can go through but few sailors generally take this approach which can require a 2 week appointment waiting list. Our approach was to leave the country and to show that we have at least tried to be compliant with the rules. We spent over a year in Norway but have never had our length of stay questioned by official sources.
