This is simply one of the best video channels made by foreigners visiting Norway. The joy and respect shown for our country, our culture and nature is touching to see. This channel deserves a far larger audience. We hope and believe that it will happen. We wish you safe sailing and fair winds.

Oh, those little lemmings are ‘way beyond cute. I love your very professional graphics, too. I think that you and your family were very brave to go swimming in such a high latitude. Your channel is such a change, with others sailing among the islands of the West Indies. Thank you for producing such interesting videos.

Wow, you hit the mark yet again. I can't begin to imagine the time and effort that goes into these documentaries. Great choice of soundtrack at 5:10! Interesting re the sea urchins- exactly the same situation in SE Australia. Volunteer eradication programs, kelp replanting, the works.

Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I heard that it was similar in Australia, glad to hear there are people working to protect the precious kelp forests there as well!

I watched this while visiting my family in Annapolis Md USA, and my youngest sister became enthralled by the beautiful photography. She said, "Its like watching a Ken Burns film". That's high praise indeed. She's now subscribed too.

Thank you so much! We have a well insulated steel boat and have a Dickinson Newport diesel heater onboard, that and the heat we get from cooking and our Dutch oil lamp keeps us toasty warm below decks 😉

I really enjoy your videos, preferring the high latitudes to the tropics myself. I am confused though. It's June, yet you are talking about Autumn. Did it take you nine months to put this together? Given the heat here now, I did enjoy the view of snow.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! It was taken in September last year. I bring one video out each month as they take a lot of time to make so I am very behind. 😉

      Captivating.
Your photography and production just gets better. Mind you had amazing material to work with.
I was in Tromsø early June for a few days of late season skiing (it was excellent by Scottish standards, though the locals said it was a very snow sparse year), it was beautiful then, looks even better in August.
(ps, it seems to be pronounced something more like Tromsa)
