Man I can't wait to get my car on E85 and some cooling mods. Going to be a beast!!
you should promote this channel on yours. he is putting out killer content and should have a massive following
Sorry my build made more power than yours Alex! 🤣😛
If only there was one for e500 for a reasonable price.
@@Charliegrillmastervrp sells a kit to retrofit the e55 supercharger
@@eliaspapas3011 which website would I find it on.?
I built the Weistec car in the video. It’s setup for max effort stock engine. Running over 22psi with a MAP sensor voltage clamp. Dual Walbro 450’s, 8AN fuel line with return system. It was a turn key 10 second car when I sold it. Amazing build. Did 694whp on a Dynocom Dyno in summer in Maryland. Ran 131mph in the quarter without meth in the summer heat. Alex’s wagon is SO SICK!
Did you end up making a profit on this build when selling it?
@@bigqwertycat yeah I made a few thousand bucks when selling it, but doesn’t really account for all of my labor. I built the car myself and only thing I paid for was a final Dyno tune.
I'm thinking of possibility of upgrading my S55 amg, but the market is bit low in Portland Oregon.
Is building and selling something you do often?
what's the exhaust setup on it? sounds amazing
@@chrisa840 MBH long tubes, custom made X pipe, w211 E63 resonator, RennTech mufflers (super rare, came with the car when I bought it). The RennTech mufflers sounded a lot like 204 C63 mufflers. This whole car was a dream setup of mine, just needed a 722.9 wet clutch trans swap
These are 2 very different kits, the Kit on alexs car is the out of the box base package for the VRP whipple. 105tb and smaller pulleys/stacked crank pulleys are upgrade options that we offer.
We make that clear in depth at the end. Alex’s car makes more power than an out of the box Weistec kit seen at 2:59.
It would be cool to see IATs and power numbers at the same boost levels. I think the bigger intercooler helps the weistec kit at big boy boost levels. That is my old Weistec car and it was running over 22-23 psi with a big fuel system and a very fat/safe tune and still went 133mph in the 1/4mile on a hot July night
He literally explained it at the end lol
Epic video! Thank you for taking the time to do this!
Our pleasure!
The pick of “it’s time” over “let’s get ready to rumble” Buffer quotes is showing the preference for a combat sport…
I mean this is the most swole auto TH-cam i know of
I bought the vrp kit when it first came out and paid the $1000 core charge. The fitment was not the best and had to do several modifications to make it "work" ended up selling the kit and going with the weistec. Best move i made. I love the wesitec kit
respect
I Do Not Know Anyone Whom has gone in to this depth on the tunes and how you achieve the ultimate Map... Legend Oj .... Great Content .. 🤜🤛
Thank you!
Alex’s Mercs are giving him allot of content 😄
That was a solid video and loved that relationship to deadlift. Keep up the great work bruv!!!
Thanks!
A tuner that cares about consistency and not blowing up engines with power. Nice
Nice work OJ loved talking to the camera and us boso’s. All about the gains and ripping a deadlift. Legend!
Glad you enjoyed it
From my experience the stock charge cooler is inadequate even in stock form, the entire system actually, do a few back to back runs on any stock M113K car and it’ll go into limp mode from high IAT’s, the VRP kit is very nice and modular in that you can add components as you go but retaining the stock charge cooler was a bad idea imo.
The Weistec kit is a better design especially in the cooling department but it’s getting old now, I like what VRP is doing but they need to find a solution to using the stock charge cooler, yes they have external coolers that replace the surge tanks but it totally changes the look of the engine, if you’re aiming to keep things looking relatively stock it’s a no go. Either way it’s awesome to see companies still supporting this aging platform and I hope that never changes!
I really love this video. OJ you look like you’re having a great time.
yes i have been waiting for this wow as w211 fanboy beautiful work
Both amazing vehicles, can’t go wrong with either!
Great video, wish we had a shop like this in the UK!
Awesome video guys!
Thanks!
My favorite channel on TH-cam
Music to our ears!
What an awesome video. I'm thinking about HD tuning. Thanks.
This guy is a natural on camera. Keep up the dope work
Thanks!
Looks like supporting mods really do make a world of difference 😮
This was SO FUNNY & entertaining ON TOP of being great car content!
Check out tomorrow’s video.
Very informative
I think it's about time for Alex to do a pulley and intercooler upgrade and have a rematch!
Tick tock.
@3:21 man, you have something going here. You’re gonna get more and more subscribers the next few years!
Its great to see someone refer to a dyno as a tuning tool! Thats what theybare!
I love how you have to put a disclaimer just for the Dodge guys 😂
Making my dream car look awesome 🔥
I must have missed that info, but I cannot find the moment this was mentioned: what boost levels are the cars running? What intake temps? Cheers.
If we can get this channel to 1m subs think of the knowledge this man will teach us 😮
They can be read via obd but gotta crack the ECU open and ground out the boot pin on the am29 chip. Galetto can be used.
Correct. Both cars had their file read via kess but it not something we advertise we do cause it’s risky and I don’t want people sending us a boat load of ECU’s. Much rather send a cable and do it through galetto with a base orginal.
I like the LS ECU bench flash setup. Would have been nice to see boost numbers on both cars. On the first car with all the Dyno runs what was the best torque gain?
We don’t have pre numbers. We were only contracted to do custom tunes on these cars after installation. But in the video we have a dyno graph @ 2:59 stock car came in and got the Weistec kit. Alex’s kit is still more powerful as is.
I can't wait to see the GTR exhaust
Have you had e55 with turbos come across your shop?curious to see what the tuning potential with turbos would be.
Possibly removing the supercharger and going turbo instead, I've seen others do turbo+supercharger.
We have not! There are some forum posts about turbo kits for the E55 - the story usually goes something like "we've got the turbos and intercoolers now all we need to do is develop the tuning" and then nothing else ever gets posted to the thread... Anything is possible with enough money and patience, but the cost of R&D for something like this would be hard to justify when there are already great supercharger offerings dominating the aftermarket.
What is the best IC pump iyo???
Do you have any used superchargers for sale?
Its more likely that the fuel rail hose or the additional volume is damping fuel pressure pulsations.
Unrelated but how much power can tuned M279 V12s make?
FMU and Saturday video drops - name a better duo…
I’m going for Alex for the win!
@FluidMotorUnion what ignition advance did you end up with Alex’s car at full boost? I have a M113K swapped 560SEC with Weistec kit and Haltech ECU. My tuner was a little scared to lean into it and I have ended up with single digit advance which is quite a bit less than what Weistec was recommending. I’m running 98 RON fuel
Nice swap
Sounds like a sweet build!! Peak timing under full load logged at 22 degrees, optimal timing can run all the way up to 29 degrees if everything is perfect but that means proper cooling, good fuel, etc. Are you local to us? We're familiar with Haltech - OJ actually trained with them. Would be happy to help you dial in the tuning!
@@FluidMotorUnion Thanks very much for the info, it is confirming what Weistec said. I have twin 044 pumps, 1000CC injectors (88% dutycycle), looped rail, large HX and header tank and a Pierburg circulation pump so I'm all good from a supporting viewpoint. What stopped the tuner adding more timing was the study underlying noise from the knock sensors and the fact first time tuning M113K engine. Weistec also said the M113K is a noisy engine. Unfortunately I am far far away from you guys in Australia. Loving the content though, well done!
What wheels on the sedan
FMU ROCKS!!!!!!
🤘
Alex's AMG's looking good
👀
I would love to see content on Mod for C32AMG that squeezing the most HP out of one.
you're like 10 years too late! once upon a time we did a ton of those. th-cam.com/video/y7YURYFntQA/w-d-xo.html
Tbh stoxk sc can also make over 600whp with acouple pullies And some other mods over all great video 👌🏽🩸
Im a South Side kid at heart. Sounds like you guy's kno what your doing... a Whipple amg wow
Sheeeesh...M113K lives forever 💪
GOAT
How long you think it will be before your putting an exhaust on Alex's new r35
Gtr’s don’t excite us tbh. Everything that could be done has by the GTR exhaust aftermarket…
I’d like to see the difference with stock superchargers with smaller pulley setups compared to these high priced kits .
The highest power we’ve extracted, intercooler long tubes 182mm lower and smaller upper, bigger throttle body, ported surge tanks, ice box, upgraded cooling, intakes… 492. So what a weistec kit bolts on to make.
what wheels are on alexs car? those would look good on my e55 as well
Both cars are sporting the CLS55 AMG 5 spoke 19 inch rims. Word of advice for these rims is that they are very easy to crack and bend due to the lack of a reinforced inner barrel. Get them if you have nice roads, and also be aware and have them thoroughly inspected before hand.
lol the swaggiest jacked tuner in the biz
Why does vrp say 668 wheel hp on the website?
OJ would be good to know the Charge Air Temperature numbers on these kits. Higher HP numbers with better cooling?
being that its winter in chicago coupled with lots of other factors other than the cool air...most of the info is hard to present in simple way, that won't bore. Cars were let to cool down to 20-15 degrees above ambient not running, then ran till heat soak, with was in the 140's for both cars. So the runs were at done to similar iats. the differentiation was Alex's car, like all stock blower e55 cars did that in 1 run once engine was warm (above 145 coolant temp). where the weistec car could run 3 or so runs before it ran similar temps. but the cars made best power on the first run. not surprising given the stock intercooler on alex's car.
Thanks OJ.
So there must be deal with better cooling on both cars. If the air is cooler (cooler efficiency better) can the AFR weaker, or leave the tune as it is?
Also we cannot see the torque diagramms, do you have them, and numbers?@@FluidMotorUnion
Out of dyno mode, is there any hiccups while accelerating on the road?
Only if you count struggling for traction a hiccup 😉 but both cars feel solid on the street! Both absolutely still daily drivable.
O.J. & his His 💔 Dyno share a common trait: Their "Give-A-Damn" is broke, busted, & disgusted!"😂
Can you guys custom tune the sadness? out of a stock 2015 corolla?
🤔
@@FluidMotorUnion it's the automotive equivalent of damp socks
I really don't know but I'm going to guess the Whipple will put down more power
Not only does he lift .... But he's strong as shit too??? BROOOOOOO
Those are wheel horse power .
What would be the equivalet to crank horse power ???
We give the example of a 707hp dodge hellcat putting down 493 hp in the video so you can extrapolate for yourselves.
Easy to see why OJ is so high on Alexs list of guys you must have in your address file.
This guy just knows what your car needs and has a way of making it within your range.
Technical expertise comes from years of experience.
Like subscribe and comment it helps everyone out.
Thanks for the kind words we appreciate you!
Im down with O.J. And im gonna delete me a 403 today!!!!
It's almost like Samuel Hyde where's a disguise and tunes Benz's.
Those f'n eggs!
Huevos!
OJ needs to lose the chomo glasses 😂😂😂
Bro why you gotta do me like that 🤣, was going for a “serial killer” vibe🤓, but now you got me self conscious 😰🤪
How much is a custom tune?
Depends on the make, model, and mods! Throw all the details in an email to Donny@fluidmotorunion.com and I can get pricing put together for you!
Let’s get ready to rummmmble…
It’s fight night!
I guess 600 wheel for Alex and 750 wheel for the sedan?
I think maybe my guesses are Dynojet type numbers.

What keeps the entire 55 AMG group from getting rid of the archaic Bosch computer for something like a Holley terminator or AEM box?
I’ve owned alllllllllll sorts of vehicles, terminators, MK4 Supra, DSM/ evo8, turbo Hondas, countless LS based vehicles, coyotes…
I own an 06 CLS55 AMG, and as amazing as the platform is, I really don’t get why someone doesn’t unlock the potential of the platform with a newer brain.
🤘🍻🍻🍻🤘
🍻
LOL
So it LOOKS like it took ya'll 51 dyno runs to realize that you needed to drop the tire pressure on Alex's car to get it to hook through the initial curve... but I know that's not what happened right? 😉
OJ it's simple, Alex needs to spend more money, to get more power, more power! All gear heads know that you gotta have more power
You my friend have put it simply and truthful. But honestly… Alex’s car has hellcat power up from 469hp. It’s honestly enough and a great kit from VRP, but he’s gotta spend more if bigger numbers are the goal, which I don’t think they are.
oj about those engines and muscle gains
Strong as ever!
52 runs 15 hp I would of just repaired it and left not risk shaving 60000 miles off stock bearings.
By that logic just 20 WOT runs, 3-4 gear changes on the street would shave 60k miles off of bearings ehh? Yea totally not worth it to scale 1000cc injectors, an upgraded fuel system and 200+ added crank horsepower making it safe…
What are you talking about bruh?
5:58 was that a cup of eggs?
🥚🥚🥛🥩
@@FluidMotorUnion good grief lol. I didn't know people did that in real life I've only seen it in movies. 😲
I'm gonna try that one day when I start working out lol
Everybody knows raw eggs equals more horsepower. Its basic science man.
Can you spare a yolk or two?
Raw eggs and milk. 👍👍👍👍👍
