Wow! Simply Wow! I've had a tendency to over draw the ball. Yet I also frequently found my ball flight doing the exact flight path you described. I took this lesson out with me when the wife & I played this week and I literally found every fairway but three! I realized....after watching & listening to you.....I had very inconsistent shoulders. YOU ARE AMAZING! I'm seriously considering signing up for your TS Golf program. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU Coach Trevor!
That is a so great to hear that this helped you out the way it did! So cool! Makes my day hearing stories like this! Thank you so much for sharing and please let me know if you need anything or have any questions at all! TS
this has been my problem for years but i could never figure it out because the body movement kinda felt right but the ball flight was not good like pulls and ugly shank like shots out to the right. thnx for cure and gonna work on it right away. i like the hockey analogy because i played so much of it when i was young. it's the one sport i was really good at because my dad had us on skates when i was about 4 years old.
That’s great to hear! Thank you for sharing here and let me know how you progress with it! If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out! TS
Great video! Was talking with my local Pro about the same thing yesterday. Your video helps me see and understand it better. My shoulders rotation was to flat thus putting me in a bad position at top then causing me to go into a slight early extension and my head pulling back at impact. Thanks for the drills to correct this.
Glad to hear this helped you comprehend what to do better! I appreciate the feedback and hope it helps! Thanks again for sharing and please let me know if you ever need anything! TS
Great video Trevor! The downswing thought of tracing the shoulder path back down is very helpful. Dropping the right shoulder back and swinging from the inside is something I struggle with. I’ll try this thought. Thanks!
Can level shoulders contribute to a lack of follow through due to getting stuck behind with my trail arm? Great videos man, I love how you discuss feeling versus angles/numbers/etc
1000% they can!!!! If the shoulders are level, the arms and club still have to come down and a lot of times that will likely be stuck behind the body or over the top! Hope this helps and thanks for the comment! Let me know if you ever need anything or have any questions! TS
Another brilliant description of side bend, extension and rotation, along with the recent videos you did with Eric on “How to stay down through impact & Early Extension” I’ve watched them several times and on the range today, I’ve never hit the ball as good. Thank you so much Trevor, you are amazing, there’s definitely nobody else giving such in depth tuition like you do, plus you make it easy to understand 😊 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Really appreciate the feedback and info here in the comment you’ve left! Means a lot and I’m glad you are getting some good info out of all this! If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
This is a fabulous explanation of how to deal with this issue I have. My turn is much too level which results in blocked shots to the to the right. This also helps keep the head steady as well.
So great to hear and glad this info helps you comprehend cause and effect better! Thanks for the comment and feedback and please let me know if you ever need anything!
Looking forward to it! I do offer online session as well that I have truly enjoyed doing! If you have any questions or need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out! calendly.com/mobile/webview_entry?redirect_url=calendly.com/trevorsalzmangolf TS
Thank you, TS! Ive been struggling with my iron swing, but you perfectly explained what my issue was. Grateful for your analytic but super practical teaching!! Thanks again 🙏

I think what you are describing is correct. However there are many of us out there, like me who have very wide chests and maybe lack the flexibility to make this move. I feel like my left shoulder is moving down but if I pit a club on my shoulders it is only tilting like 10 degrees
Completely get where you are coming from here! There are more ways of doing this for sure! This would be just one of the ways/ options to do so. I agree tilting the spine and getting the trail side higher can help as well!
I believe this is my issue, why would I shank pitches and half wedges but nothing else? And I pull all my wedge shots, I am a flipper with back issues so my flexibility is not what it used to be.
I don’t truly know without seeing but my guess is would be you are losing height on the way back and flexing at the hip to try and lower the shoulder (bringing you down and closer to the ball). This can cause either to much downward strike and or to much outward swing of the club at impact. Start by trying to maintain the same height with this feel (left knee and hip flexion)

I’ve always struggled with my head dipping down when trying to get shoulder tilt, but this sequence will really help. I hope!
Let me know how it goes and also if you have any questions! That was one of the big things I struggled with as well!

Very good video!
My question for you Trevor is are you a fan of The Ramones? 🤔
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Not exactly a fan of the Ramones. Just trying to bring their hair style back! 😂
Awesome 👍🏻
Thanks so much! Greatly appreciate it!
