My thought process is that if you are going lethal and less lethal to someone say holding a knife wanting to kill them self. If they miss one probe, they have 8 more chances to hit in that one or two seconds. Also the fact it works at almost double the distance means you can use it earlier if they are coming at you or longer if they’re running away. Sorry you don’t understand probability

Its a localized controlled pulsed electrical current specifically designed to not harm but incapacitate. surrounding water would not be electrified. Most deaths from tasers is not even from falling but when people have preexisting medical conditions and poor health mostly drug related heart complication so when taser hits near the heart it sometimes causes problems like arythmia which can lead to death. Id 100% rather get shot with this than a bullet. But quality pepper spray is number one in my opinion. If its actually pepper spray and not cs gas there is literally no chance to hurt anyone as capsaicin just temporarily tricks your mind that you are in hell , usually enough time to get back to your senses and certainly enough time to leave the danger zone

In order to get that many darts in there it seems they switched to another explosive propellant which now makes them firearms again. Axon said this themselves in an SEC filling. It also is probably gonna be more of a pain in the ass for civilians to get than a normal handgun because I don’t think it has rifling which would make it an AOW so you would have to do NFA paperwork.
I can buy 4x Gen3 Glocks off gunbroker for what a Taser 7 costs. I live in California so that’s including transfer, dros, and background check. Can’t wait to see what the Taser 10 costs.

taser 10 was designed to fix the thick clothing issue being drunk, high, or mentally unstable doesn't make you immune to the laws of electricity all of the above scenarios would have reduced or no pain, but the electric current would still paralyze and lock up your muscles even when high

Let me guess....you will say that he was far enough away that the officer could have transitioned to a firearm if the taser hits failed. Problem is that transition will have to occur while the suspect is bashing the officers brains in with his metal club. Tasers are good tools, but they are far from perfect and rarely work as depicted in static videos....great video though!!
