why are you using newton meters instead of foot pounds?
Sooo.. Mopar installs an unusable hitch (but wired for a lights) to be removed and install a new hitch that will accept a receiver? Some hitches at eTrailer have you drilling a 3/4" hold in the bumper will I WILL NOT! Why they didn't just come with a receiver I do not know.
Would it be easier if you drop the spare tire?
Will this fit on a 2022 Mojave gladiator?

One additional point. If you have the Rear Park Assist, you must detach the sensor network harness as well. This is located on the passenger side with a molex connector in the same position as the trailer and license plate light harness.

Hey guys, thank you so much for the video!! I used your video, especially after reading the "instructions" that came with the hitch, to install the Class III hitch on my 2021 Gladiator Willy's model. Watching you go through it on the video seemed really easy, especially since you had it up on a lift and had a few power tools. Since I had none of that, I kind of expected it to be a little more involved and take ~3 hours or so. I've got to hand it to you...it was just as easy as it looked and took my son and I only about 90 min to complete the job - that included him making a run to the auto parts store for a $10 trim removal tool, which was well worth the $10! Thanks for the great and clear video!!
Can the Mopar receiver be bolted on to the hitch without removing the bumper? My JT did not come with a receiver.
Never use a torque wrench as a breaker bar.
Looks like a regular snap on ratchet to me
I dont understand why its on the lift for this. Removing a bumper above your head is way more difficult than removing it at ground height
It’s easier to reach everything and makes for better video quality.
Were you able to get the trailer hitch zoom feature working also?
Is this a 2 or 2.5 inch?
man that kinda sucks cause i thought i was able to delete it since i got a rubi and it has the hitch and i wanted to take it off since thats the first thing i hit whenever i go offroading but yeah looks like im gonna buy one off a overland or something that doesn't have the hitch
do u still want the overland one with no hitch? I'm adding one for towing.
Should point out the passenger side is ready to receive a hook like the passenger side.
Would have to get a new bumper as there’s only one hole for tow hook.

i purchased a gladiator overland with manual transmission. the tongue weight is rated at 400 lbs. if i install this mopar hitch will it increase my hitch capacity to 700 lbs.? also, will this effect my warrantee? thx. j
