unfortunately i disagree with your takes on glasspads overall. they are BY FAR the most maintenance heavy pads IMO, due to them having to be perfectly dust free to be useable. They also have a very unique feel that will be exactly what some people are looking for. so saying that the main upside of a glasspad is low maintenance is misleading IMO.
@@vinvaderYes. 100%. I owned 3 glass pads for several years and the grating sound of dust on them is awful. They also have zero stopping power so using them with any kind of wrist disability or muscle issue is a no-go. They also get too warm if you don’t use the entire pad. I’d rather use a little dawn soap and warm water once every six months or so to make my artisan pad feel like new.
@@vinvader Rather than wipe the pad every few minutes, wear a sleeve, and replace ur mousefeet more often? Yes. Wash the cloth pad, let it air dry, good to go for a couple of months or longer depending on how dirty u are.
+1 - and glass pads murder mouse skates. Non issue with cloth or cordura. Cordura is virtually indestructible and is the better choice is "maintenance" is important
I highly recommend the Saturn & Saturn Pro. Unless you’re not around NA, it is the best control pad you can get in terms or price, value, and LGG’s customer service.
I have tried so many pads like Artisan Hayate Otsu, Vaxee PB, Vaxee PA, Gamesense Radar, Zowie GSR, Logitech G740, G640, Saturn Pro, Aqua Control and I always find myself going back to the QCK heavy. I don't know why but my aim on that pad is so much better than any other pad. Hopefully in the future they do a 500 by 500 pad like the gamesense radar. The vaxee pb is on par with the qck heavy but the initial/static? friction is wayyy to high for games like apex.
keeping budget but 100 dollar glass pads and calling a qck durable, that pad is about as bad as an og g sr se which is fine if u want a mud pad but at that point just buy a slow pad. List is wack
@@jerryyy.That's the thing, i doubt he played on it for more than 3 months. We bought the qck 15 years ago because the market didn't offer better pads.
One of the few recommendations for the Strikepad Pro. Bought one a while ago and will give it a go with some CoD. Seems fairly smooth. Unfortunately my packaging came a little dented, and pad a little as well. But it doesn't seem to affect performance. Also have a few PK Control pads - Speed, Game and Control plus and they are all pretty decent. Fairly cheap too and high quality.
it's not the same glide as the g sr 2 but the rogue is also technically new, it's an updated version of the old g sr pads same with the gris and the bi. They dont make the old se's anymore so anything you find that isnt resale thats an se will be updated.
What about the pulsar paraspeed v2? its another budget cordura mousepad that is available here in the Philippines (they dont sell the mpc450 here sadly). How does it compare to the mp511 and mpc450?
@@fingolia6316 this is just wrong. Their quality is unmatched but they might not have the glide ur looking for which would make them not an ideal pick for you
@BobbyDigMOB i have that shit right under my desk, bruh. Currently, i am using qck mouse pad. Tired of people glazing artisan shit because they love japan and shit
The SteelSeries QCK is dogshit I'm not even going to humor the idea that it isn't. It's literally only good for being rock bottom, in 10 years it will remind you how far back you could have been if you didn't choose another mousepad.
I've tried so many pads like vaxee pb, pa, artisan hayate otsu, gamesense radar and to be honest the qck heavy is the only pad that has held up. although the hayate otsu comes pretty close. i havent tried the normal qck though only the heavy
if you dont like the glides they offer there are gonna be better pads. They have the best quality and i personally love my otsu but i switch pads a lot for different glides, even my zero or hien dont fit what im after sometimes so i go for other brands

490x420 lgg saturn is $10 rn, $18-$20 shipped. That is an insane deal and much better performance than many pads here for less money
Wouldn't recommend the qck, the mouse speed slows down on the used area after a few months and 2-3 cleans.
Make a vid on how to clean cloth pads correctly pls
Soap
use hand soap and make sure it's all out of the pad before letting it dry, dont overcomplicate it (deleted the old response bc it sounded rude my bad)

God this is like if rtings made a mousepad tierlist
Don’t insult him like that
Im using a dinner plate mat for a mousepad. Best cheap mousepad
i have a lovehate relationship with qck heavy. it's bad and so good at the same time
If u buy a new one every 3 months u should be fine
I've been brushing my control mousepads for a long time now. I just wanna ask if it does make it smoother or my brain is just tricking me lol.
How do you rate the pad from 1-10?

There's a Teal Version of GSR SE
