I miss his old style of videos it felt more relatable, as someone who literally only owns a pan and a spatula I loved his old videos. This feels so high production. We’re losing the war on machines 😭
It’s a curse with YT cooking channels (as well as other channels) that as production quality increases, the character and identity of the channel decreases. Just look at Babish and Weissman, they are still popular but their channels are unrecognizable from their first videos - in a bad way. They just cater to the lowest common denominator and algorithm trends. It’s possible to resist it, like ANTICHEF (still growing) and J Kenji Lopez Alt, but most channels creatively die off but stay alive by becoming content wheelhouses.

Might be immune to carcinogens but not immune to plastic melting from massive amounts of hot liquid (idk if actual name brand containers do but many of the off brands melt at water boiling temps)
You want to boost that salsa to a full 10/teen? Ferment it. Take all the ingredients, moosh them a bit, and then either vacuum seal or press them down into their own juices and keep it under so it's not exposed to air. Protect from bugs with some sort of mesh. Then let it sit for a few days. The yeasty boys will start to do their thing. THEN blend it all up. Fermenting your salsa is a cheat code to min/max flavor and boost it beyond restaurant quality.
as someone who has bought way too many kitchen gadgets and tools, I can say with high confidence that a Vitamix blender, and Kitchenaid stand mixer, are the only 2 kitchen tools you should absolutely drop the money on buying. Both of them are tools you will pass on to your kids, and there's just no other blenders that are able to liquefy things like a Vitamix.
Banana ketchup is actually best paired with fried food. Maybe use tomato paste instead of ketchup? Might want to try the bottled one first in Asian marts. IMO if you mix it with Mayo it’s better than using tomato ketchup.
Unironically a retrospective on the Culinary content creators would go really hard. There are tons of those videos on other content categories, but not one that I've seen for culinary/home cooking.

For the Canes sauce id recommend adding a full teaspoon of black pepper. It sounds insane but its true, the more you add the closer to canes sauce it gets, but theres still something missing
