I spray oven cleaner on the metal feet of furniture and clean them that way before I paint. It has always worked great for me.

Beautiful job. Personally, it gives me confidence to continue on with trying to flip furniture when I see a pro make a "mistake", i.e. forgetting to polish the brass wheels before painting. It was no biggie, and the piece turned out gorgeous! Seeing you gives me courage to continue on in light of the fear I will fail!

I’m not a professional but I do try very hard. 😅 I just got carried away and excited to paint. 🤣 Thanks so much! Keep flippin’! 😊🥰

The feet and casters cleaned up beautifully and add a lot to the finished look. Nice work!

Beautiful makeover. Good idea to switch to painting when you were undecided about the stain. I'd rather take more time in the decision than spend the time doing it over! I've been holding a a piece of cardboard behind the drawer edge with one hand to mask off when spraying instead of tape and paper. It takes a bit of practice, but that tape and paper can get expensive and tedious to apply.

Thanks so much! Oh! That’s a great idea. I’ll have to give that a try because I agree, tape is very expensive!

So first, I think I would have made the same "mistke" you made by staining the entire top twice with the stain instead to stopping halfway through. By doing so you avoided two didderent color sides of the table which can happen even if you sand it back down.
Second, the wheeled feet turned out great!
And finally, i didn't love the orangey stain you chose to pair with the blue green paint. I would have chosen a dark walnut bit I'm not you. You technique was good and I will look forward to your next project😊

I was thinking about a dark stain but I thought it would make it look too dated, but maybe I should of just went with my gut and did it anyways! Thanks for your feed back! 😊

They looked like they didn’t have much potential but with a TON of elbow grease they polished up quite nicely. Thanks! 😊

Maybe pecan, hard to tell on video. I really like to do the first coat of primer with the piece up side down, turn it right side for everything else and the final coat of paint upside down again.

Thanks for the wood guess. Learning wood types is difficult. I appreciate your tip! I'll have to remember that for the next time, Thanks!! 😊

That’s what I thought, but I’m not too sure. I’m not very good at identifying woods yet. Only pine. 🤣😅
