They turned out beautifully. I think this was a great makeover. People just don't want those old style desks anymore. But anyone would want these nightstands. Great job. And I subscribed.
Ypu should be proud of yourself! You overcame all the problems of this transformation! The color and the stain are really beautiful! The handles look too bright, too gold... I think you should use black wax to tone them down. Thanks so much for sharing everything!
Lot of work, lot of mistakes, your work was very well done in my opinion. Your finished pieces looked great. Personally i would have preferred that they were still on the desk and whole desk was refinished. Loved the wood top 22:23 drawers
I really did go back and forth trying to decide if I should have kept it a desk or turn it into nightstands but nightstands are so much easier to sell. Overall, I'm super pleased with how they turned out! Thanks for watching! 😊
"I've seen way too many scary movies." made me lol. 😄 I haven't seen many scary movies, but circular saws make me nervous too. In the same way as driving next to semi trucks. I just don't *wike* it.
@@BrickWallFurnitureGallery Oh gosh. I hold my breath just driving on bridges. 😅 I live in the Twin Cities, where a busy highway bridge collapsed into the Mississippi River in 2007. 😬
Love this video- was very informative. I just bought a kids size vintage desk I’m going to turn into nightstands for our bedroom. Super nervous because I don’t want to use the saws 😭 gonna see if I can get it done with the jigsaw first
I hope you have a blast transforming the desk! I get nervous about power tools, I. Get it. Yes, try the jigsaw. It’s way less intimidating. 😅 good luck!
Great job 👏 The color and stain look great together. Not loving the handles so much. They seem Too bright gold. Btw. I feel the same when it comes to a saw 😂 Enjoyed your video. Subscribing
Beautiful job! I know you said you use the flexor 4000, can I ask you what made you pick that rather than the 5000, 3,500, or 595 or any for that matter?
I bought my paint sprayer from my local Menards and honestly, I had 2 choices to pick from. The other paint sprayer (I can’t remember what number it was) I didn’t like that the motor was connected to the handle, I thought it would be difficult to clean and not burn the motor with water. So I ended up getting the 4000 because it looked way easier to clean, the motor is completely separated and it had better reviews. It’s the only sprayer I’ve used so I can’t compare it to anything but I absolutely love it. If I had to pick a new sprayer I’d still pick the 4000. 😊
The way you handled the edge without a router was awesome! Well done!
I tried REALLY hard! Glad you enjoyed. 😊
You are very good. I love how you explained things. Please tape inside of night tables. It makes item look more professional.

Thanks so much! And turning them into nightstands keeps it out of the dump! 😊 thanks for watching!
Gorgeous as they are. No wax needed. Nice work.

Beautiful transformation! Your solution for not having a router was particularly impressive!
Thanks so much! 😊
This is a wonderful transformation. The table looks so beautiful. 👏👏

Ever sense I saw Katie Scott do it I was like YES!! it just makes so much sense!!
Do It! 😊
Im getting ready to do 2 of these. First time.
I like the handles the way you have them
You did a lot of work and you are very clever to overcome all those challenges! Great job!
Thanks so much! 😊
They came out beautifully and I always learn something (or many things😂) when watching your videos.
Hahaha thanks for watching! 🤪😊
Wowza ❤
Yes definitely u gained a sub! Been debating about a router but I think I will get one! Just saves time!
Awe, welcome! 😊 YES! Get one. 😅
Beautiful Job ..
It was well done I would have never taught about that

Looks like legal office filing cabinets. Could probably sell for a lot in a furniture store
LOVELY OUTCOME

I believe you have a talent for refinishing and should stay with it. Lots of luck!
Awe, that's so sweet. Thanks for the kind words! 🥰😊

Especially driving next to a semi truck along the wall on a bridge. 😰🤣
Thanks for watching!! 😊

I actually cut with the jigsaw yesterday. Turned out great! Now I need to woodfill and repaint, and try to resand the tops
Nice job!
Gorgeous ❤
Thank you! 😊 it was a super fun project.
Good job!
Very nice!
great job!
You can put wood pegs in the holesaslo to help fill them and bondo
Great job 👏 The color and stain look great together. Not loving the handles so much. They seem Too bright gold. Btw. I feel the same when it comes to a saw 😂

Why bond o and not faux wood filler ?
Bondo is heavy duty unlike wood filler. Wood filler often needs to be filled multiple times because it shrinks as it dries.
I think im going to get edging for mine
That’s probably a good idea. 😂 it was a lot of work to bondo that edging.
These night stands are beautiful but the hardwear is too yellow. If you can make them a bit darker it will be more elegant.
I had a feeling they were too gold. But they sold in just a few days! Noted for future projects! 😊 thank you!
