- Manhunt. You either played it as a kid or watched Dream play it as a kid but either way it needs no introduction. I Make video games and today I turned manhunt into a video game!

I turned DREAM Dream Manhunt into a Multiplayer game with 5 hunters except it's not actually minecraft Dream but instead is a Unity game that I made in 30 days but actually 2 months. Dream and MrBeast once played with Dani and that's why I've decided that today I will recreate Minecraft Manhunt 4 hunters for Dream. Game Development.

You should add a playground for the seekers while they wait to be released. A mini jungle gym or something like that so they won't be bored while waiting the 30 seconds.

Personally I think adding a way for the seekers to set bananas' as traps that would show the location of a hider that triggers it might be cool :)

a couple suggestions that might be fun to see in game: ropes that you can swing on would be a welcome addition to diversify gameplay. i think a small fireball would be a cool rock skin to put in the game as well (you can recolor it 5 different times to milk it as much as possible). i'm very exited to see this games future, so good luck.
ropes don't allow the person behind you to chase you, kinda like a one person door, breaks the balance.

2 mins in and i know this is burg, one of my favorite games at the moment lol, me and a bunch of my buddies and our wives all play, i have a ton of hours and its incredibly fun!!! Idea, make it so (for an escape mechanic ) hiders can go into the cannon and light it, either stunning a seeker with it or flying away in it. Also you should make monke necklaces or hats, it would bring more personalized monkes into the game. Don’t forget sliding!
More personalization would basically make it a pseudo-nft game XD
You already kind of can, crouch and then walk into the side of a cannon, let go of crouch and you’ll fly
you should add a "taunt" ability for the hiders that plays a monkey sound ( the seekers can hear it ) , the hiders can taunt manually but every 2 mins it automatically taunts , because it is still really easy to hide from the seekers
I think the location reveal feature would be more easier to locate players with

I have a suggestion for a mechanic that can be easily implemented into this game in a potential update. I suggest making the Cannons functional, allowing The Hides and The Seekers to launch themselves across the map using the cannons.

Got the game and so far it runs really good haven’t found any bugs but no one was online so it felt like a old memory of me playing gmod without any of my friends

An idea for the rock skins: maybe you can make them the gemstones in the cave and make them unlockable by interacting with the gemstones down there? Sounds pretty neat

This game would be incredible if the code-only servers could have mods :) This would allow people to add/change things they want like changing the settings which shows all players, load custom maps, change game modes, add accessories, add admin command for the host etc!

When games are loading it can show different parts of the game or a play area for the seeker when wait for the timer to go down

Hmm, idk about that. Literally just hide and seek with rock throwing.
Also i think the movement looked way too floaty and just slow as hell, if you go even like 50% faster it would remove the need to float like a hot air balloon and then require some faster reaction times making it probably a lot better.

U should add rocks like a gold rock where u have to find 100 hiders and a diamond rock where u have to find 500 and maybe like diffrent skins of the chimps where they can unlock varients of clothing to customize thier character and maybe some hats aswell

Add a location detector instead of the circle thing. After 45 seconds you get a movement detector which beeps when hiders are nearby.

A map editor would be cool. Would allow people to create their own content and keep the game going, even if you stop touching it.
Add trails to rocks plus and levels and magma skin plus a variety of weapon skins such as bows and cross bows plus a animation showing a reload system for the weapons plus potions like buffs and abilities
You should add bullet drop to the rocks so when people throw it it won't be insanely unfair so people dont snipe people from across the map and maybe make it so you can gain a boost by shooting the rocks at your feet

This is Hide & Seek and not Manhunt. In Manhunt the "Man" has a goal (In Minecraft that's beating the game) and not just hiding. Manhunt has almost nothing to do with Hide & Seek because you are always on the run.

For the rock skins you should add something like a coin system being rewarded to players every time they win a game or something and players can spend coins to buy boxes or something and they can earn like colors and textures so they can customize their own rock skins

I think I was 10 or so and my favourite execution weapon was the blunt items, I always held till max to get the most brutal kill possible, manhunt 2 was pretty good as well, I hope we get manhunt 3

The quake source code is licenced under gpl. If you did use it then you are legally required to licence under gpl aswell. Open source doesnt mean you can you can just copy and use however you want.

Not sure if this will get a reply, but out of curiosity, what resources did you use to help you start learning client side prediction? I've been dabbling a bit in netcode and would love more learning materials.

Add a cannon that launches you to a new island that has a cannon to go back and the island has special banana gun that only 1 hider can get and it stuns the seeker for 5 seconds
Easy idea: make Wall sliding and sliding on The floor and maybe some more stuff around The map for better parkour.
Hard idea: when The game is completely finished you can make a gamemode where The player is able to make a map themself from already existing stuff from The real map (crates, chaneliers etc.) ad they Will be able to do landscaping and stuff like that. When they are done they Will be able to save it or upload it but either way they Will be able to play it and send The level code to friends so they can play with eachother
throughout the map, you should put some small hiding spots throughout the map. For the seekers to counteract this and for hiders not to stay in one spot the whole game, you should make a ping system where it pings every 30-45 seconds.

You should add a banana that the hiders can throw once or twice to make the seekers slip and stop moving for a couple seconds because the seekers seem to have a big advantage

You should add a pirate ship off the side of the island with cannons. You can jump into a cannon, launching you to the main island
The torture chamber has the judas cradle, its awesome
a rock thats a minecraft diamond would be a nice reference, and since it's pretty easy to transfer a pixelated 2d image into voxels, it may work.
When you win you should gain coins that you can use maybe for buying acessories for your character or maybe some gear that help you to hide/escape for the hiders and to helps you find the hiders as am seeker
Make it so you can get Ingame currency by doing quest and winning games you can use this currency on skins hats and news ways to get around the map (grappling hook, double jump etc)

You could swap the rocks out with any throwable object e.g tennis ball, baseball, tomato, banana, etc
Here's some rock ideas:
A flaming rock
A rock wrapped like a christmas present
A rainbow rock
A banana (as a rock)
And trails for the rocks should look cool.

There should be a monster or something in the park where if you stay still it will spawn and track the nearest player and also will change and teleport and stop after 30 (so it is just a survive for thirty seconds to make it more fun:) )

you can make different abillities for the seekers for them to buy/unlock and polish the game a little with particles and have hat cosmetics for the monkeys ;d
your model is better than I could do!
I have a few suggestions that i think of to make the game better :)
1. Have a powerup system for both the hiders and seekers to get as having what is basically a few seconds of aimbot onto the hider is very good and not at all fair including the fact that the seekers have a ranged tag which is good alone, so i was think implementing power ups that spawn around the map that randomly give a power up.
for Seekers i was thinking of, A handheld sonar scanner that pings the hider for a second but only goes off every 10-20 seconds but you have to look down at the scanner to see where they are, A basic speed boost, A few traps that can be placed around the map they can be either hidden or visible but when triggered will keep the hider still for a few seconds, heat vision which will allow the seeker to see through walls in a short distance and can see through the fog in the forest.
For the hiders I was thinking of another basic speed boost, a cloak that allows the hider to go invisible for a few seconds, a taser which can stun a seeker for 5-10 seconds, a clone ability which can make a clone of the hider and run down a path or something, and a ability that is specific to the catacombs where you dig up and can teleport to a list of areas around the map ( cause among us ).
2. Maybe add a climbing feature ( cause monke ) where people can climb a wall or vertical surface for a second or two to possibly get to a higher point but not have it be like hang on a wall climbing.
3. Maybe replace the ping system with an ability to the gaurds where they could either get a small permanent upgrade for like a slightly faster walkspeed or rock throw, or give them a power up when that time arrives.
4. Maybe add a little extra movement mechanics like being able to bounce off a wall or swing off the branches of trees.
If you are reading the Barji, I think the game already looks really cool but with maybe a few extra touches it could be a great game that could keep a bigger community and a longer stay in relevance :)
