Good review. With the newer ignition systems you don't have to pull far out on the starter like a lawn mower anymore, the general repetitive 8-inch pull would probably work well. I know that the exhaust is Chrome but I sprayed some of that high temperature silicone on my exhaust. Reason being a coach the exhaust which helps prevent from any type of corrosion anyway on top of the fact that it would spray in and around where the two pipes meet and help give it a bit of a seal. Apples and oranges I would say that the atom 80 is perfect when you need a lighter engine. But if you could deal with the heavier engine I would definitely stay with the 185 because of the price being only about a $500 difference.
Hey Carson thanks for a fantastic video I'm really interested in this motor. I'm currently flying a propulse with Vittorazi Moster 185. With a ITV Boxer 26m wing. But im 50 years old and this thing is getting heavy on a bad knee : ) around 65lbs dry i think. But I don't want to give up foot launching do you think this motor would be a good match with my wing I also live at sea level in Louisiana off Lake Pontchartrain. And i weaigh 155-160 depending on if its close to Thanksgiving or not. Thanks again!
Update on hours and issues please. Some Atom 80 owners experienced the same. They were told normal and would seal over several hours of post break in use. Did you find that to be the case?

Hi. What propeller do you mount? Is it tha one that came with the Atom80? 125cm or 130?
What oil ratio were you running for the 4.8 hours?
