I too have had to re-drill holes to get them to line up. I’ve found it way easier to use the holes that Vittorazi used in the chromed stainless exhaust piece and drill the new holes in the black anodized aluminum tube of the silencer. Glad that you got it fixed and back in the air. There’s not too many fix-it videos out there on the atom80. So every bit helps the next guy with the same issue. Thanks for taking the time to make a video of it.
VERY GOOD VIDEO.. vittorazi the manufacturers...did anyone ask them direct if this exhaust issue is common? i suspect it is. and I feel the only way if anyone isn't happy. is to ask the manufacturers directly. and see what happens? now we all know where I am going. with this.= money. issues. question why didn't the exhaust match up .as it should.? what checks was ever done? if any? and the crack! is this common?
Did you ask if they would send you a new exhaust? I don't see why you should have to fix Vittorazi's problems, especially if its under warranty - I will be keeping a close eye on mine from now on, thanks for the video
That was a great quote, “If you want to fly, you have to be a paramotor mechanic.” 👍
Good video, thank you

Good point! Thank you
What a nuisance, fixing it only to take it apart and fix it again! Well done.
Bro your video so nice❤❤❤

You were supposed to use hi-temp paste at that joint where the 2 large springs are - at least according to the Vittozzi manual.
@@Paradicted still had some on the joint so I just left it on there. It's been fine for the past 50 hours and counting
Damn dude............what a pain in arse!
I contemplated just buying a whole new exhaust and fixing this one later and selling it because I didn't want to open it again the next day

I had to much pride to ask for a whole new exhaust. I assumed the answer would be no anyway
I hope you get some more subscribers so you can afford some real tools!🤠
What's wrong with the screwdriver and hammer?😆
@@MitchG you’re my kinda aviator! Love your style and content!
@@MitchG You mean screw chisel! It's okay to beat up chinesium tools, consider it durability testing.
exhaust rivets are brutal. its is not a fun task! and you had to do it twice.
Yep... my motivation pushing me through that was the desire to fly ppg again.
need to buy yourself some tools
The sad part is I have a LOT of tools. Just not with me right now
