Helping your neighbor is good it makes you’re hart feel good I helped my neighbor move a oak tree stump it was 5ft wide and 4ft tall my bobcat t590 did it with ease,it my warms their heart and makes me happy to help
That’s a beautiful little splitter I really like how the blades are able to cut one log into multiple pieces that that way to have it to get the job done 10x faster and with the log lift that’s a man’s toy right there!
I disturbed a wasp nest the other day. I didn’t know it was there. I found out - the hard way. I got stung three times. I keep a good supply of the wasp & hornet spray. I took care of them. They certainly are aggressive. Meanwhile, my shop sold log splitters, but nothing like yours. That Honda GX engine should last a very long time. Great choice.
Hey Josh thank you for the video and yes that's what it's about helping your neighbor's out I actually volunteer at a food pantry Church like 4 to 5 days a week been doing it for 5 years I would say and it makes me feel good helping out the people in need woo
WOW ! That machine works ! Allot faster than the way my dad use to use his axe chopping his wood . Poor buddy hoping he has a few years left 🙏✝️nothing like our fur babies . Good video sharing with ur neighbors 👍🏼👊🏻
My back hurts just watching this😅 Nice to see everything green again. And thanks Josh. I was the type of person that will buy the big machines and bring the wood in this case to it. You've shown that that's not always the best way to do things. Especially seeing how most will never be doing things on a industrial scale. 🍻 Guess my question of the day is have you thought about bringing in a Mason and using the stones on the property to finish of your fence and gate? Kinda been thinking about that every time you go through it.
at some point I may "rock" the gate posts....I've thought about it too. Honestly, I'm really hammering down on getting out of debt and getting some $$ saved for retirement. I've got a goal to meet in 2024 and most every large project has taken a back seat to my financial goals for the year. Now...that being said...I will be installing rock on the pillars of the outdoor kitchen as soon as they arrive. So....no mason needed...I'm gonna give it a go myself! Wooooo!!
not sure if you're on fb or not...but I'm doing live vids nearly every day on fb with the cows facebook.com/stoneyridgefarmer we'll have a live this morning!
Sorry about your pup. All we can do is give them the best life all the way to the end. Never easy. Misty Hills in NY will be thinking of Buddy and you brother! I swear there's a gaping hole in our dumpster that I cant find 😂. We constantly have debris/trash flying around that we're always picking up.
This is what its all about i moved to the middle of nowhere Oklahoma from Seattle area during the covid... thank God i had a couple great Nieghbors to help me.
Two young men well maybe three going to have a good nights sleep. Where are the kids or grand kids I'm glad to see the older men out there and keeping fit themselves GO GET THEM YOU KIDS
We love our pets. We have a 24 yr old son that Autistic. One of the blessings of the shorter life span of an animal is that helps us prepare our son for when my wife and I eventually die.
My 1st summer back here in Upstate NY 33 yr ago We had not bought Our farm yet, my nephew Jim who was but 20 that yr had a good idea for he and I to make a little money over his summer from college. We would spit fire wood. U see his DA (my B-L) father had had his woods log that winter. Left about 300 top. So we went in and clean it out in 45 working days. We had a star spitter but engine a little bigger then urs and u could lower way down so that rounds rolled up onto the splitting rail. No lifting until they were made small. I was but 60 that summer and in what I look back on as not only having the best health but no pain yet. Jim strong healthy. we did about 300 face cord. Sold at $35/co so we made. At any rate for our 45 days of summer work we made each a little over $5000 each. This was when a HS kid looking to work before college in fall gets only min wage $5/hr 40/we 9wk = $1800 Did the boy do good or not.
Wasps and yellow jackets have been my enemy this season. Always find the nests when I'm weed whacking at my friends farm.... trying to do good and help a neighbor but I get punished for it 😂 in all seriousness the world needs alot more helping neighbors
Josh my vet recommends a hip operation ,where they cut the ball off and they don't suffer. Dogs carry 85 percent of weight forward and that's what makes it possible. I hope you check it out. I never got the chance to do it ,on my big dog,but dr bob did on his, and they resumed all functions perfectly.
Cbd really helped my pup loki he had joint issues and towards end of his life he had cancer but he made it 1.5 years after cancer diagnosis the cbd oil had to help
My Lab had hip issues, and we tried CBD for dogs. We noticed a huge difference after one treat. Give it a shot. Just make sure you get a legit brand. Sumed Med works well, it's part of the Your CBD Store brand. GOOD LUCK SRF
People use glucosamine and chondroitin to help rebuild cartilage, I know there are formulas for dogs under the name of cosequin I think Jack Hanna was selling that and he's the guy that used to be on TV with the animals all the time. Notice that the big rage right now is to feed dogs a healthy meal of human food. Maybe you could start doing that for your dogs and improve their health. As you know keep fighting don't ever give up.
we've been divorced for more than 2 years now....she came back several times but we couldn't make it work. I asked her to leave after a horrible situation this past new years eve. Hard to believe we went through such a change. I have to move on alone now
yeppers....that's the winter hay for this upcoming winter season. Remember back a few hundred years ago and even now in some places, folks build "thatch roofs" on their homes. The bale will have some spoilage but 98% will still be great for consumption by cattle, goats or sheep. Not so good for horses though
neighbor helping neighbor But is the guy a mile down the road my neighbor or does it stop at the house after his "Each man is my brother each man is my friend" Yes it is a lot more out here in no where's vile to have ppl doing this like this but then I think that comes form the fact that if we need help and need it now we cant ask gov for it b/c they will taker days to get to us out here. So we just depend on each other rather then finding someone and paying them to do it we just do it together and so it gets done.
not really my man...everything can't be used for lumber/furniture. This was a tree that was standing dead and was blown down by the wind. White oaks around here have been getting some sort of disease lately and dying...probably have 10 standing dead on my place now...nobody around here burns anything but hardwood in their stoves... our pine causes too much residue in the chimney
Try brake cleaner on a wasp nest, dead in about 5 seconds.
I ran out of wasp spray and could only find break cleaner.
finally got me some spray...I been slacking! lol
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer those buggers hurt when they nail ya. 🐝
'neighbors helping neighbors' is a VERY important message! Life could be so much easier ...
Helping your neighbor is good it makes you’re hart feel good I helped my neighbor move a oak tree stump it was 5ft wide and 4ft tall my bobcat t590 did it with ease,it my warms their heart and makes me happy to help
Such a lovely video. Made my day. Thank you.
Love the Wolfe ridge. We produce a lot of TH-cam videos with ours. Great helping neighbor
Nice Josh,
Helping a neighbor
God bless
I liked the way the table raises & lowers for resplitting some of the big split pieces. It sure has a good engine, starts easy & it has da Power Bro.
Great job guys. Josh, you are a heck of a guy.
That’s a beautiful little splitter I really like how the blades are able to cut one log into multiple pieces that that way to have it to get the job done 10x faster and with the log lift that’s a man’s toy right there!
Good men helping each other!
🙏🏻💪🙏🏻
You're awesome to help your neighbor. Great job!
Honda motors are the best starting of anything I have ever seen
Man we have to pay for tractors but wasps nest are free I wish we had tractor nest and log splitter nests instead 😂😂😅😊
It’s awesome you guys helping each other!!
I disturbed a wasp nest the other day. I didn’t know it was there. I found out - the hard way. I got stung three times. I keep a good supply of the wasp & hornet spray. I took care of them. Josh, that’s what having neighbors is all about I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine building bridges not burning them down 😮😊❤

Man y'all got that done in like 20 min! Great job! LOL!🤣
Hey Josh thank you for the video and yes that's what it's about helping your neighbor's out I actually volunteer at a food pantry Church like 4 to 5 days a week been doing it for 5 years I would say and it makes me feel good helping out the people in need woo
That looked like fun until you started. Definitely more fun with the Wolf Ridge.
Wooo 😅, I hope I’m getting around that well at 80.
That’s what it should be like. Lending a helping hand
WOW ! That machine works ! Allot faster than the way my dad use to use his axe chopping his wood . Poor buddy hoping he has a few years left 🙏✝️nothing like our fur babies . Good video sharing with ur neighbors 👍🏼👊🏻
Great, from the 20 yard line to the goal line, what a touchdown with farmer's helping farmer's and neighbors. Great job Josh
My back hurts just watching this😅

This is what its all about i moved to the middle of nowhere Oklahoma from Seattle area during the covid... thank God i had a couple great Nieghbors to help me.
Great job great video

Lets get to splitin' ......
At the end, they let out a stronger WOOOO than I would have had in me. 😮💨
Smart idea to place the split logs into a trailer, instead of having to load the trailer later on from a big pile of logs.
We love our pets. We have a 24 yr old son that Autistic. One of the blessings of the shorter life span of an animal is that helps us prepare our son for when my wife and I eventually die.
That warms my heart. The best part of where you live is definitely your neighbors!
Great guy!
wuffs hip and joint for your dog josh 100% satisfaction

They don't make them like Tony anymore! 🚜-Woooo!!
I agree!
pretty is one thing u dont have to worry about when spitting firewood. How ever the wood want to spit and that is "hat".
A+ Log Splitting
Fit Farmer just had problems with red wasps, asking for suggestions too.
spray them puppies lol!
I would save the chips for starter.
hope their not too long. i have that problem. short size for one stove, other takes longer log splits.
Cbd really helped my pup loki he had joint issues and towards end of his life he had cancer but he made it 1.5 years after cancer diagnosis the cbd oil had to help

Where has Mrs. Stoney Ridge Farmer been?

Is it ok that those hay bales get wet. Asking because I don’t know

It's a shame to see Oak used for firewood...😢

This is a bad year for wasps, hornets, yellow jackets …seems like everybody got em … bad neighbors .
